    - by user187532
Hello everyone, I am developing module where-in i pick the image from photo library and put into a Sprite. I want to implement Zoom-in, Zoom-out kind of effect for a Sprite image, same like camera album images zoom in/out effect. Could someone please guide me how do i implement it? I see somewhere is that, i have to detect two touch events in TouchBegan and then Adjust the Sprite Scale size to up or down based on the distance of two fingers touch event values. Could someone please tell me, How do i detect two fingers touch values in TouchBegan? How to allow to touch and Zoom-in/out of Sprite image by user? Please give me samples. I tried already some stuff (http://groups.google.com/group/cocos2d-iphone-discuss/browse_thread/thread/61808fd6b578e5e1?hide_quotes=no&utoken=9AdrAzkAAABFNHPPibbeOSHIuKOkxTWQ066onEraO3W2r08xbUjNmAwT6_SsyC2n0d69MF_vYn77vPb7MuI5eIWgjrXT32Kd) but doesn't work for my requirement. Thank you.

  • Unknown runtime error number: -2146827687

    - by Simone Vellei
I have an error in my GXT code on Internet Explorer (both Development Mode and not) when i try to attach a label to a panel. The error is "Unknown runtime error number: -2146827687" but this error in a GWT module is throws always, in other gwt modules with a label attached to the panel the error there isn't. The layout of panel is a GridFormLayout developed by me. The error is thrown when the renderComponentInCell is called (the method is called on doLayout) and the component is not rendered (else condition). private void renderComponentInCell(Component component, Element cell) { if (component.isRendered()) { cell.appendChild(component.getElement()); } else { component.render(cell); } } What can I do?

  • SWIG: Python list to uint32_t *?

    - by Lee Crabtree
I'm trying to work with a Python module that was generated by SWIG. There's a C++ class defined that works like this (simplified): namespace Foo { class Thing { public: Thing(); ~Thing(); bool DoSomething(uint32_t x, uint32_t y, uint32_t z, uint32_t *buffer); }; }; When I try to call it from Python, I get an error about the last argument needing to be of type 'uint32_t*'. Normal Python integers work just fine for the other arguments, so I can't understand why a list of ints wouldn't work for the buffer. Any suggestions?

  • python blocking sockets, send returns immediately

    - by Mark
Hi, I am writing a multithreaded socket application in Python using the socket module. the server listens for connections and when it gets one it spawns a thread for that socket. the server thread sends some data to the client. but the client is not yet ready to receive it. I thought this would have caused the server to wait until the client starts recv but instead returns immediately the client then calls recv which is blocking and no data is ever received. client socket constructor self.__clientSocket = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM) self.__clientSocket.connect((server, port)) server socket constructor self.servSock = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM) self.servSock.setsockopt(socket.SOL_SOCKET, socket.SO_REUSEADDR, 1) #self.servSock.settimeout(None) self.servSock.setblocking(1) self.servSock.bind((self.addr,self.port)) self.servSock.listen(5) listening accept thread try: (cs, address) = self.servSock.accept() except socket.timeout: return threadName = '\r\nClient %s:%s\r\n' % (cs, address) print threadName clientSocketHandler = ClientSocket() clientSocketHandler.setClientSocket(cs) self.clients.newThread(self.clientFunc, {clientSocketHandler : "1"}, threadName).start() server and clients send/rec methods from inside ClientSocket receivedData = self.__clientSocket.recv(1024*1024) self.__clientSocket.send(s) any ideas why send() is returning straight away?

  • Share on Facebook, Retweet, etc, buttons in straight Ruby gem?

    - by Alexandre
Notice those buttons atop http://techcrunch.com/2010/04/04/he-even-makes-coldplay-sound-fun/ for sharing the url on social networks? I want to do something very very similar for a site I'm building. ShareThis offers a widget that does the same thing but it's branded and external. I'm looking for a pure Ruby solution. A gem containing a module that could be included in a Rails ApplicationHelper class would be perfect. Suggestions appreciated before I go reinventing the wheel!

  • pdb show different variable values than print statements

    - by martin
Hi, everyone. I am debugging a python module with homemade c extensions. The output seems correct when I print it with 'p' in pdb. But if I use a normal print statement or pickle it, the output is wrong. What could be causing pdb to show different values than normal execution? I can even step to the print statement in debug mode, and pdb will show the correct value but the program will print the wrong one. The problem seems to happen only when I have called a certain c extension earlier. Glad to post code if that helps. Thank you.

  • Google Appengine and Python exceptions

    - by Jim
In my Google Appengine application I have defined a custom exception InvalidUrlException(Exception) in the module 'gvu'. Somewhere in my code I do: try: results = gvu.article_parser.parse(source_url) except gvu.InvalidUrlException as e: self.redirect('/home?message='+str(e)) ... which works fine in the local GAE development server, but raises <type 'exceptions.SyntaxError'>: invalid syntax (translator.py, line 18) when I upload it. (line 18 is the line starting with 'except') The problem seems to come from the 'as e' part: if I remove it I don't get this exception anymore. However I would like to be able to access the raised exception. Have you ever encountered this issue? Is there an alternative syntax?

  • MVVM framework AND Prism 4?

    - by Karsten
I just read this question. It has some nice answers, but they are over 1 year old, and a lot have changed in this space over the last year. Some of the most popular frameworks have come out in a new mayor release such as Prism and MVVM Light Toolkit. My question is somehow the same, but with one twist, I'm already using Prism 4.0 because of the region and module features. Prism 4.0 embraces MVVM, but I feel there are something which are "not lightweight", for instance interaction requests. So I'm thinking would it better to use another MVVM framework either as a substitute or a supplement for Prism 4.0?

  • Are the svn ruby bindings provided as a gem?

    - by user30997
I see a couple dozen gems that relate to svn, but what little documentation I can find on any of them shows that they are command-line wrappers and misc helpers. (svn-command, svn-hooks, etc.) I've seen code in the wild that does things like: require 'svn/core' and SVN.Repos.add(...), but the author of that module pulled his svn ruby tools via apt-get. This would not be an option for me, as I'm developing a windows/osx tool. Which gem am I after? From there, I'm happy to dig through code in lieu of documents, but with a call to gem query --name-matches svn --remote returning about 30 hits, I need to narrow it down a bit first.

  • Assembly Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll does not load

    - by jbsnorro
When trying to load Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll from any project, it throws a FileNotFoundException. The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E), with no innerException. Even the simple code like the following throws that exception: static void Main(string[] args) { Assembly.LoadFile(@"C:\Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll"); } I run XP x64, but I've set the platform in the configuration manager to x86, because I know it shouldn't(doesn't) work on x64 or Any CPU. I've manually added the dll file to GAC, but that didn't solve the problem. I have also tried the M$ Assembly Binding Log Viewer to see if those logs had any useful information, but they didn't. Everything, the loading etc, was a success according to them. Any suggestions? please?

  • Python-MySQLdb problem: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32

    - by jsalonen
As part of trying out django CMS (http://www.django-cms.org/), I'm struggling with getting Python-MySQLdb to work (http://pypi.python.org/pypi/MySQL-python/). I have installed Django CMS and all of its dependencies (Python 2.5, Django, django-south, MySQL server) I'm trying out the example code within Django CMS code with MySQL as chosen database type When I execute python manage.py syncdb, the following error occurs: django.core.exceptions.ImproperlyConfigured: Error loading MySQLdb module: /root/.python-eggs/MySQL_python-1.2.3c1-py2.5-linux-i686.egg-tmp/_mysql.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 I have been able to trace the problem specifically to python-mySQLdb (as also visible in the stack trace). Other than that, I am completely puzzled. I don't have a clue what ELFCLASS32 means, or what ELF class is anyway. I suspect that this error could have something to do with the fact that I am running 64-bit version of Debian 5 (on a VPS). Any good ideas how to troubleshoot?

  • Recursively CVS add files/directories and ignore existing CVS files.

    - by meder
There's a similar post @ http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5071/how-to-add-cvs-directories-recursively However, trying out some of the answers such as: find . -type f -print0| xargs -0 cvs add Gave: cvs add: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or directory cvs [add aborted]: no repository And find . \! -name 'CVS' -and \! -name 'Entries' -and \! -name 'Repository' -and \! -name 'Root' -print0| xargs -0 cvs add Gave: cvs add: cannot add special file `.'; skipping Does anyone have a more thorough solution to recursively adding new files to a CVS module? It would be great if I could alias it too in ~/.bashrc or something along those lines. And yes, I do know that it is a bit dated but I'm forced to work with it for a certain project otherwise I'd use git/hg.

  • Apache - Tomcat ProxyPass VirtualHost - Context Path

    - by Arne
Hi, I have a problem configuring apache tomcat ProxyPass directive for two applications that have two different Contaxt Pathes in tomcat. The tomcat is running behind an apache and I use the apache to proxy path the requests to tomcat. In apache I want to access both application via a hostname instead of a context path. Scenario: tomcat https://domain:8443/app1 https://domain:8443/app2 in tomcat the applications have the context path app1 and app2 in apache I want to enable both application as follow: https://app1.host/ https://app2.host/ In apache I have created a configuration for each domain: ProxyPass / https://localhost:8443/app1 ProxyPassReverse / https://localhost:/8443/app1 The strange thing is app1 is only available through apache using the context path: https://app1.host/app1 Is it possible to realize such a setup with apache ProxyPass module? Thx for your help.

  • Python 3.1.1 Class Question

    - by Protean
I'm a new Python programmer who is having a little trouble using 'self' in classes. For example: class data: def __init__(self): self.table = [] def add(self, file): self.table.append(file) data.add('yes') In this function I want to have table be a variable stored in the class data and use add to modify it. However, when I run this script it gives me the error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Projects/Python/sfdfs.py", line 7, in <module> data.add('yes') TypeError: add() takes exactly 2 positional arguments (1 given) I assume that I am trying to call the function the wrong way in this instance, as this syntax is very similar to an example in the python documentation: http://docs.python.org/3.1/tutorial/classes.html

  • How do you change the allowDefinition section attribute using appcmd in IIS 7?

    - by Edward Wilde
Is it possible to use appcmd to change the value of allowDefinition? Specifically I'm try to enable changes to the httpCompression module at the application level. Modifying the applicationHost.config by manually changing the following line: <section name="httpCompression" allowDefinition="AppHostOnly" overrideModeDefault="Deny" /> To <section name="httpCompression" allowDefinition="MachineToApplication" overrideModeDefault="Allow" /> allows me to then execute the following appcmd commands: appcmd set config "website name" /section:httpCompression /noCompressionForProxies:false appcmd set config "website name" /section:httpCompression /noCompressionForHttp10:false However I need a solution that does not rely on manually editing the applicationHost.config

  • How to connect to local MQseries queue using Python?

    - by Michal Niklas

  • importing pywiiuse to test out

  • OpenCV 2.0 and Python

    - by Jive Dadson
I cannot get the example Python programs to run. When executing the Python command "from opencv import cv" I get the message "ImportError: No module named _cv". There is a stale _cv.pyd in the site-packages directory, but no _cv.py anywhere. See step 5 below. MS Windows XP, VC++ 2008, Python 2.6, OpenCV 2.0 Here's what I have done. Downloaded and ran the MS Windows installer for OpenCV2.0. Downloaded and installed CMake Downloaded and installed SWIG Ran CMake. After unchecking "ENABLE_OPENMP" in the CMake GUI, I was able to build OpenCV using INSTALL.vcproj and BUILD_ALL.vcproj. I do not know what the difference is, so I built everything under both of those project files. The C example programs run fine. Copied contents of OpenCV2.0/Python2.6/lib/site-packages to my installed Python2.6/lib/site-packages directory. I notice that it contains an old _cv.pyd and an old libcv.dll.a.
