  • Killing a process that keeps respawning

    I got infected by a virus. It looks like I removed it, but it somehow injected a few more processes (I can see them in the task manager) that respawn when I kill them (somehow). Is there a way to destroy those process to stop them from respawning, or in the case something else is respawning them, to kill that "something"?

    Essentially what I am trying to do is setup a work flow similar to PayPal. I have created an application that allows my clients to accept online donations and what I want to do is take % percent of that transaction off the top. The problems I have run into are: Authroize does not allow me to take on an additional fee that is paid out to my account I could run a report every month on all my clients transactions to determine what they owe but this is less than ideal All of the companies I looked at do not allow for aggregation where by all of the donation systems pay into my account then I remit payment to my clients Does anyone know of a company that allows for this or is my only option here going to be to setup my own Payment Gateway or is there a simpler solution?

    I'm not much into audio engineering, so please be easy on me. I'm receiving an audio file as input, and need to detect whether the speaker is male or female. Any ideas how to go about doing this? I'm using php, but am open to using other languages, and don't mind learning a little bit of sound theory as long as the time is proportionate to the task.

  • [Flex] Caching canvas into ByteArray

    Task: (all in code, not visual) create a canvas, place into it some labels and draw some lines, then cache it as byteArray. The problem is that if I cache an object that is already drawed on the screen, it works great, but if I cache a canvas, that have been created few lines earlier, this results white image. Is there any solution to cache a display object, that was created in code, but not intended to be displayed at all?

    This is NOT a question about which is the best framework, etc. I have never used a mocking framework and I'm a bit puzzled by the idea. How does it know how to create the mock object? Is it done in runtime or generates a file? How do you know its behavior? And most importantly - what is the work flow of using such a framework (what is the step-by-step for creating a test). Can anyone explain? You can choose whichever framework you like for example, just say what it is.

    Hi, I'm working with devexpress pivot grid, so I added the paging function and everything is working fine, the only thing I need to do is display the total row on each page, at this moment it is displayed just in the last one, I was looking on DevExpress documentation and it looks like pivot grid calculate the total and gran total automatically and I don't find any thing about my task, anybody knows how can I do this???     Hi there. I'm trying to build a simple cluster based on Windows XP. I compiled OpenMPI-1.4.2 successfully, and tools like mpicc and ompi_info work too, but I can't get my mpirun working properly. Error code = -2147417850 [host0:04728] [[8946,0],0] ORTE_ERROR_LOG: Error in file ..\..\openmpi-1.4.2 \orte\mca\ess\hnp\ess_hnp_module.c at line 218 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It looks like orte_init failed for some reason; your parallel process is likely to abort. There are many reasons that a parallel process can fail during orte_init; some of which are due to configuration or environment problems. Can anyone help me? Upd2: Error code -2147024891 might be WMI error WBEM_E_INVALID_PARAMETER (0x80041008) which occures when one of the parameters passed to the WMI call is not correct. Does this mean that the problem is in OpenMPI source code itself? Or maybe it's because of wrong/outdated wincred.h and credui.lib I used while building OpenMPI from the source code?

Queue - not adapted for this task, IMO. Stack - not adapted for undo AND redo; Double Stack - maybe optimal, but can't control the undo maximum size.

I wanted to also convert to an mp4 format that will "stream" to an iphone and blackberry, or allowed to be downloaded to either, for later viewing.   • Which is faster when animating the UI: a Control or a Picture?

    /I'm working with and testing on a computer that is built with the following: {1 GB RAM (now 1.5 GB), 1.7 GHz Intel Pentium Processor, ATI Mobility Radeon X600 GFX} I need scale / transform controls and make it flow smoothly. Currently I'm manipulating the size and location of a control every 24-33ms (30fps), ±3px. When I add a 'fade' effect to an image, it fades in and out smoothly, but it is only 25x25 px in size. The control is 450x75 px to 450x250 px in size. In 2D games such as Bejeweled 3, the sprites animate with no choppy animation. So as the title would suggest: which is easier/faster on the processor: animating a bitmap (rendering it to the parent control during animation) or animating the control it's self?

The problem is when two table are floating, they both are out of flow so next table comes without any spacing. So I add a width attribute clear:both.     I have used the & command before to make a script run another script in the background like so: #!/bin/bash echo "Hello World" script1.sh & script2.sh & echo "Please wait..." But lets say I have another script with an IF ELSE statment and I would like to set an ELIF statement mid flow as a background task witht the & and then carry on with processing the rest of my script knowing that while rest of the ELIF will carry running in the back ground: #!/bin/bash if cond1; then stuff sleep 10 & stuff stuff elif cond2; then something else else echo "foo" fi stuff echo "Hello World" I really hope this makes sense any help would be greatly appreciated.

    We are looking for some tools to help us with our web development speed. The two main areas that we have pinpointed as parts of the problem are "Framework/Flow Management" and "Visual/Layout Development" Ideally we would find a tool that handles both rather well. However, it seems like there are few tools that handle the middle ground well. Usually it is just a Framework, or and IDE, not both. The best thing we have found so far is Agile Platform. Are we missing any obvious products? Platform at this point is not a huge concern. We can migrate to the best tool.

  • Extra < using auto complete in Sublime Text 2

    I installed the All Autocomplete package in my Sublime Text 2 editor and everything works fine except when I type "<div" or something similar, the auto-complete box pops up, I select the one I want and hit enter and it adds "<<div></div>" with an extra "<" in the front of my tag. I have to go back and delete the extra "<" every time...(!) I can't seem to resolve this issue. If I use the command CTRL+Space, the box pops up and I can select the tag I want and it does not include the extra tag but that messes with my flow. Has anyone out there experienced this? Thanks for your help!
