  i want to see the number of removed/added line, grouped by author for a given branch in git history. there is git shortlog -s which shows me the number of commits per author. is there anything similar to get an overall diffstat?

• Microformat combination to use with events data on a map

  I have event data displaying on a map and I am currently using the geo microformat alongside it however it's not particularly rich to have just a list of locations without any details of what they correspond to. I've been looking at combining microformats to achieve this and looking for some thoughts on the subject here is the data i am marking up: event title, event location [latlong], event address, contact phone, link to full details My initial thoughts are to use an hCard along with geo? • Broadcastreceiver to obtain ServiceState information

  Hi, Does anyone know of a way to obtain the phone service state (IN_SERVICE, OUT_OF_SERVICE, EMERGENCY_ONLY, POWER_OFF) in android. I was hoping there would be a broadcastreciever to identify the changes, but I can't find anything. I know there's a listener but I'm not sure how I would use that from my app as it runs as a service using a WakefulIntentService (by thecommonsguy). With something like battery level (ie BATTERY_LOW, BATTERY_OKAY) it's quite easy, but I just can't work out a similar things for phone service changes.

  I have a string something like this: "2014-01-23 09:13:45|\"10002112|TR0859657|25-DEC-2013>0000000000000001\"|10002112" I would like to split by pipe apart from anything wrapped in double quotes so I have something like (similar to how csv is done): [0] => 2014-01-23 09:13:45 [1] => 10002112|TR0859657|25-DEC-2013>0000000000000001 [2] => 10002112 I would like to know if there is a regular expression that can do this?

• Disable comments in stdout (DOS)

  If I use Dos command "copy" to concatenate two files: copy a1.txt + a2.txt a.txt I will have something like the following in stdout: C:\a1.txt C:\a2.txt 1 file(s) copied. I do not want to have anything written in stdout, I mean, I just want to have 'a.txt' without those 3 lines written in stdout. Is there any way to do so? the reason is, I need speed and I know that any IO takes time. Thanks, Shadi.

  Hi, I'm wondering if someone knows how to store an array into a user session? This is the method to store a single attribute: $this->getUser()->setAttribute('something', $something); And the documentation says: "User attributes can store any type of data (strings, arrays, and associative arrays)" ... but doesn't say anything more. The API documentation doesn't have a "SetAttributes" or something similarly obvious. Thank you.

  I am using Lightbox Plus for wordpress. My captions are spilling over and overlapping the picture when the image is in lightbox mode. The captions are covering the image and the close link, as well as being off-center. • What's making my page extend slightly beyond the viewport? [CSS]

• Running on Windows CE 6 'and' Windows XP

  Is it possible to create a small program that will run, without recompiling and without emulators, on both Windows CE 6 AND Windows XP SP3? From my knowledge, this isn't possible. Source code needs to be recompiled for the target platform. However, a hardware manufacturer for embedded boards is claiming otherwise. The application isn't anything complex, just a simple benchmarking tool analysing floating point operations, CPU ticks etc, and displaying the results on a plain GUI.
