Is it zero? 2) If it is zero how do we plot zero on a logarithmic scale? 3) The result is always symmetrical? Is there any other existing template software (FOSS) that we can base our app on, or use it as a reference?

  • Silverlight toolkit chart to many lables on axis

    I'm using the newest chart control from silverlight toolkit to plot some data. For small cases it works ok, but for bigger samples the X axis labels overlap. It would be no problem if the chart would simply omit some of the values or I could specify to just show every 10th of them ... I couldn't find any properties providing this behavior. Any ideas?

I've entered some data into R, and I've put a smoothingSpline through it using the following command. smoothingSpline = smooth.spline(year, rate, spar=0.35) plot(x,y) lines(smoothingSpline) Now I'd like to measure some limits (or where the curve is at a given y point), and maybe to some predictive analysis on points that extend beyond the graph. Are there commands in R for doing this?

    How can I add a newline to a plot's label (e.g. xlabel or ylabel) in Matplotlib? For example, plt.bar([1, 2], [4, 5]) plt.xlabel("My x label") plt.ylabel(r"My long label with $\Sigma_{C}$ math \n continues here") Ideally i'd like the y-labeled to be centered too. Is there a way to do this? It's important that the label have both tex (enclosed in '$') and the newline. thanks.

    I am looking for a GUI python module that is best suited for the following job: I am trying to plot a graph with many columns (perhaps hundreds), each column representing an individual. The user should be able to drag the columns around and drop them onto different columns to switch the two. Also, there are going to be additional dots drawn on the columns and by hovering over those dots, the user should see the values corresponding to those dots. What is the best way to approach this?

  • Is it possible to integrate Google Maps with the directions and the Transit layer into an iPhone app

    Sorry if this question is obvious for some of you. I know we can link to the existing Goggle Maps app, but I would like to have an app that does not exit and provides the direction within. I intend using GTFS for public transit. On the other hand, would it be possible to plot a line inside the iPhone app the results as returned by Google Transit?
