  Hi all, I'm trying to setup a parallel CMake-based build for my source tree, but when I issue $ cmake . $ make -j2 I get a jobserver unavailable: using -j1. Add '+' to parent make rule warning. Does anyone have an idea if it is possible to fix it somehow?

  ok, embarrassing enough, I posted code that I need explained. Specifically, it first chains absolute value and subtraction together, then tacks on a sort, all the while not having to mention parameters and arguments at all, because of the presense of "adverbs" that can join these functions "verbs" What (non-APL-type) languages support this kind of no-arguments function composition (I have the vague idea it ties in strongly to the concepts of monad/dyad and rank, but its hard to get a particularly easy-to-understand picture just from reading Wikipedia) and what do I call this concept?

  I have a java web application that has informix DB as it's back end database , now i take a decision to make my app work with SqlServer so i changed all the informix related syntax into SqlServer, and i may take a decision in the future to switch into oracle so the pain will be repeated again and again, as a result i decided to make my application a DataBase independent one that's able to work with any DB vendor smoothly, but i have no idea till now about how to do that, so your ideas is welcomed.

• Objective-C retain counts in dealloc

  I'm seeing something fairly strange here, I've got breakpoints set in various dealloc methods in my app, and on inspection, the retain counts of the object self varies from 1 to 0. When dealloc is called, will the retain count of the object be set to 0 already? I'm using print (int) [self retainCount] in the console to test this. The 0's seem to only appear in the dealloc of my NSOperation's that are being run in an NSOperationQueue. Any idea why this is?

  Hello, I am trying to deactivate the annoying sound when clicking a link in WebBrowser control, WITHOUT changing the user registry. I've found documentation that this can be done through CoInternetIsFeatureEnabled, also explained here. But i have no idea how to implement it on Delphi 2010, since i am getting "Undeclared Identifier" error after including URLMon unit into the project and not much documentation out there. Any ideas?

  I have table similar to this: 102938 bob 038128 Marc 398401 Tom 298421 Jim 102938 Alex 102938 Junior 209381 Rex 398401 Oby I want to make sometthing like =sumif(A:A, 102938,B:B) and to get "bobAlexJunior" as result. But this is not working becouse sum works with numbers not strings. If i go with lookup, it works with strings but finds only first line, not all lines. Do you have an Idea on how to fix this issue?   Hi, I have an ajax web application(asp.net). some of users report the a problemt that when they work sometimes by system ( and pages who have ajax calls) their connection to server will intrupt and just a blank page they will see. they can't browse any other page on my site while they close all open browsers and reopen site.
