  I am creating an Excel sheet programmatically. I like to show group totals above each group, and for this to look best the +/- sign that opens and closes the rows should be at the top, where the total row is. Is there a way to accomplish this? TIA, Alex

• YUI dialog - what's the equivalent of postdata when using "form" (not ('async")

  I'm creating a dialog with YAHOO.widget.Dialog. The dialog is fired off by clicking on a link, and the function the link uses specifies parameters that finally get added to a postdata option like so: var myDialog = new YAHOO.widget.Dialog("myDialog", { fixedcenter: true, // postmethod: "form", postdata: propString }); This works just fine, but now I need to do the same thing but using "form" instead of "async" - and there's no postdata for form submissions. What's the right way to do this? (YUI 2.7.0)

Once Normal View is selected all works fine. Is there any way to force Word to open with Normal View instead of Web View?

  Hi, Is it possible to apply an extension method to an interface? (C# question) That is for example to achieve the following: create an ITopology interface create an extension method for this interface (e.g. public static int CountNodes(this ITopology topologyIf) ) then when creating a class (e.g. MyGraph) which implements ITopology, then it would automatically have the Count Nodes extension. This way the classes implementing the interface would not have to have a set class name to align with what was defined in the extension method.

  I'm creating a generic object collection class and need to implement a Hash function. I can obviously (and easily!) get the hash values for each object but was looking for the 'correct' way to combine them to avoid any issues. Does just adding, xoring or any basic operation harm the quality of the hash or am I going to have to do something like getting the objects as bytes, combining them and then hashing that?   Is it possible to attach a listener to all MenuItems in a Menu bar after creating the entire menu bar? Otherwise I need to call addListener on each MenuItem individually, which is a pain with hundreds of menu items (don't ask why). With a listener attached to each MenuItem, I would then be able to demultiplex using the text string of the MenuItem.

This is preventing me from listing and creating directories outside of the current directory.   I am creating a kiosk application and I want to ensure it is always, no matter what, on top of other Windows applications and the Windows task bar. I am already blocking Windows keyboard commands (alt-tab, etc) but there are still situations that could cause an application to launch and steal the screen. Is it possible to hook into Windows from .NET and continually test whether the application has focus and is on top, and if not then give it focus and make it on top?
