    Creating a game in Android using multiple ImageButtons to display an image from the drawable folder and I want to change the button to a different image after the button has been clicked on. Here is the code for my image button: <ImageButton android:id="@+id/b56" android:layout_width="45px" android:layout_height="45px" android:layout_gravity="center_vertical" android:src="@drawable/black" /> I can't find anything about how to change the actual image of the button.     So here is what I have: a PDF form (job application) that a client is requesting to put on their website as a form and the data gets sent to them when an applicant on the site fills the form out. My idea is as follows: dissecting the PDF, taking its fields and making the HTML form, then processing on the server side, creating the new PDF and emailing as an attachment to the client. However, something tells me that there is a better, more effective way of doing it. Is that so?

    I am creating a multilingual site that will need to support at minimum five different languages, including Korean and Chinese. The site language is ColdFusion, so Java is the native language. I want to make the site as easy as possible for the next programmer to update, and for third-party translators to use tools that will work easier for them than digging through a SQL database. I'm trying to gain an understanding of what the differences are between creating a conceptual class diagram as I have described versus calling it a ERD?     I have tried following the sample Hello World for MonoTouch by creating an iPad solution. For some reason I cannot get the MainWindow to load. I followed the instructions exactly and the app just closes before even loading a view. Is there something missing? Do I need to tell the solution how to load the MainWindow.XIB or something? Please help, this seems very basic and I am about to throw MonoTouch in the garbage.

  • Refactor custom wizard to reduce flicker

    I have implemented a custom wizard control in C# windows forms by creating a base form which has the shared components and then making child forms for each step of the process. I then have a class which hides/shows the child forms when you move from one step to another. The problem is that flickering is bad when moving between forms. Does anyone know a way to either keep this method and reduce the flicker or refactor it to make it use a single form (which should definitely reduce the flicker)?

    Hi all, i would like to know what is the correct way to create a fullscreen view of a tabpage control. This page has other controls, and that controls has various events that are subscribed. I was trying creating a new fullscreen form and copy all controls of the tabs to that form, but with this approach i need to resubscribe every control to the corresponding handler. If i only add the references the subscription remains but when the fullscreen form is close also the referenced copied controls are lost.

    I've found, via Google, numerous people asking the same question, but no solutions. The Python Image Library (PIL) has tools for stepping through an already existing multi-page TIFF, but nothing about creating them. Libraries would hopefully be available on Windows, for Python 2.6. If there's some freeware out there which will do the trick, I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I was hoping I could accomplish this in Python.

Here's the basic example: def OnSubscribe(observer as IObservable[of string]) as callable: print "subscribing" def Dispose(): print "disposing" return Dispose observable = System.Linq.Observable.Create[of string](OnSubscribe) observer = System.Linq.Observer.Create[of string]({x as string | print x}) observable.Subscribe(observer) The Subscribe here gives a System.InvalidCastException: Cannot cast from source type to destination type. The issue appears to be with how I'm creating the observable, but I've struggled to see where the type problem arises from. Ideas?

    So log4j comes with two existing log rollers: RollingFileAppender, and DailyRollingFileAppender. Has anyone heard of an appender that does both of what the former do? I need an appender that will roll log files based on filesize, but also append the current date to it. I've been thinking about creating my own appender, but if there is already one that has been created, why not save the time and use that one?

    Howdy! I have a certificate signing request with an extension stack added. When building a certificate based on this request, I would like to be able to access that stack to use in creating the final certificate. However, while M2Crypto.X509.X509 has a number of helpers for accessing extensions (get_ext, get_ext_at and the like), M2Crypto.X509.Request appears to provide only a member for adding extensions, but no way to inspect the extensions already associated with a given object. Am I missing something here?

Currently I am using: insertcommand.CommandText = "SELECT sql FROM sqlite_master WHERE sql NOT NULL;"; To pull all the table schema from the file database, however I'm not really sure how to proceed with creating these tables in the new memory database, and copying all the relevant data across. In short, how do I copy an SQLite database from file to memory using C# and System.Data.SQLite?
