• Format SQL Query Result into web menu

  I am trying to bhuild a drill down menu for my website, where user will click on a category and it will show the subcategories of that clicked category, there could be n-levels. I am able to write sql query which returns the output exactaly as I want, but the problem is...I dont want to show the whole menu to end user, I would like to open/expand only clicked category. my Query output is: 1 IPTV 2 Jadoo Tv 3 Shava Tv 4 Jalva Tv 5 Programming 6 Microsoft 7 Asp.Net 8 PHP so by default IPTV & Programming Should be displayed, since they are parent, and when I click on IPTV it should open the children of IPTV, like I said there could be n-levels. I was thinking, I can load the output of query to webpage and then control the menu navigation with css/javascript. do you guys have any ideas?

• Phantom horizontal scroll bars on the whole window in IE.

  I'm working on a website layout you can find at dev.movingcost.com In most browsers, everything seems fine... but I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar on the window when viewing the page in IE. I'm using a fixed width of 960px with auto margins to center the content. I've even tried using "overflow-x:hidden" on the html and body tags to no avail... any clue where the problem is?

• Correct association mapping in Entity Framework

  Hi, Trying to change two relationships in our entity framework from many-to-one to many-to-many relationships. So I tried the obvious thing: clicked on each association on the diagram, changed the appropriate end of the association accordingly and then changed the name of the navigation property to a plural to reflect the change. This lead to the following build error, or one each for the two changes I've made: Error 3002: Problem in mapping fragments starting at line 1761:Potential runtime violation of table CustomerServices's keys (CustomerServices.Id): Columns (CustomerServices.Id) are mapped to EntitySet CompiledDatabaseCustomerService's properties (CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CustomerService.Id) on the conceptual side but they do not form the EntitySet's key properties (CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CompiledDatabase.Id, CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CustomerService.Id) I'm not entirely sure why this is happening, so unsurprisngly I haven't had much luck fixing it. I've tried fiddling with the mapping details and adding referential constraints to no avail. Anyone point me in the right direction? cheers, Matt

• jQuery Light Box not loading in all system?

  I am using jQuery's thickbox.js pluging, for a modal dialog box that will appear when some one first loads the website(as a welcome banner), and after clicking on "enter site" they should be logged in to my home page. But the problem is "Modal dialog box appear's to be empty in some system(i.e OS), with same configuration, and shows only the loading progress bar". it works in some system only.. please help to find the problem??

• Changing Window Title in Interface Builder

  Hi all, I'm new to Objective C and Cocoa - and I'm having a really hard time changing the title on one of my windows. Usually I would press the outside of the window, and then in Window Attributes Inspector there's the title area - however for this particular project it has a name in that box and when I run the application, the title bar still says untitled. Am I missing something? I haven't binded the title to a data source or anything.

• How can I use javascript to convert relative href attributes into absolute paths?

  I have a template that gets screenscraped from an outside vendor and need to include absolute paths in the navigation so the externally hosted content will properly link back to our site. Right now the page/template is driven by a global menu app written by our back end development staff... so anyone who updates our site goes in and changes the menus and their paths... Right now all of the links are linking to relative paths back to the root. For example <a href="/">Home</a> <a href="/news/">News</a> <a href="/media/">Media</a> <a href="/other/">Other</a> I need a simple way (preferably with jquery) to prepend "http://www.domain.com" to each of those links.

  Hello everyone I have installed xampp 1.7.3. After starting apache and mysql service when I write http://localhost/ in the internet explorer address bar it shows 'The page cannot be displayed'. But for Firefox it creates no problem and shows Xampp index.php page. Now how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance

• iphone app photo upload to server from app threads

  I have an app that needs to upload a least 5 photos to a server using API call available with the server. For that I am planning to use threads which will take care of photo upload and the main process can go on with the navigation of views etc. What I cant decide is whether it is OK to spawn five separate threads in iphone or use a single thread that will do the upload. In the later cases obviously it will become quite slow. Basically an HTTP POST request will be made to the server with the NSMutableURLRequest object using NSCOnnection. More threads mean more complexity and sync issues, but I can try to write code as neat as possible if it means better performance than a single thread which is simple but is a real stopper if performance is considered. Anybody with any experience in this kinda app. ??

  When a user clicks on the little red "x" a.k.a. the form close button on the form command bar, what even is activated besides FormClosed() I know FormClosing() is called, but I cannot really stop the form from closing after my code is run.   In the left navigation i have a series of check boxes and a grid view in the page body.Grid view results changes based on the check box selection,whenever i click on the links in grid view it goes to the second page and there is a link on the page which takes me back to the first page,but the check box selected value is maintained for the first time only and if we repeat the same process for the second time and i see that the first time selection of the check box is maintained.Here the grid view is placed in update panel and the check box in the left is called using .... AsyncPostBackTrigger ControlID="cphLeftNavigation". I've tried removing the above code referring the cphLeftNavigation and i see the results are coming up correctly and the last selected check box value is being maintained correctly and i want the same functionality to be implemented with/without update panel. Can anyone let me know,what exactly should i change to implement the above mentioned functionality.

• tableView resize problem when pushing another view while keyboard is showing

  I have a tableview controller under a navigation controller. Some of my table cells contain text fields, so when I tap on them, a keyboard will show up and automatically resize (shrink) the bounds of my tableview. The bounds is then restored when the keyboard is dismissed programmatically by calling resignFirstResponder on my text field. Some of my cells would push a new view controller into the view stack when tapped on, so I first resign my current textfield before pushing the view controller: - (NSIndexPath *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView willSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { if (currentEditingTextField != nil) { [currentEditingTextField resignFirstResponder]; currentEditingTextField = nil; } return indexPath; } The problem is when I navigate back to my table view, the bounds of the tableview is sized as if the keyboard is still there. I know this because the scroll indicator only reaches right above where the keyboard was and there is empty view space below the table view. Anybody experienced this and know of a solution? Thanks

I have some little different applications in one, and want to make navigation on top of my MainWindow as buttons. And little applications as UserControl. (probably do not understand :() How organize architecture WPF project that: one main window and many usercontrols which places in mainwindow and replace each other in turn. and there is the possibility of navigating from another usercontrol to another. May be it's MVVM, but i don't understand how this pattern can help me.

• PrimeFaces commandButton doesn't navigate or update

  I'am using Primefaces to make my app a little bit more beautiful. I noticed that p:commandButton and h:commandButton don't work the same way. The p:commandButton calls the method and nothing else hapens. The h:commandButton calls the method and returns a navigation. I have got trouble with redirecting after pressing the login button when using p:commandButton. How to deal with that?   I have created a main page (myAppViewController) and a add page rect button I have also created a page template (TemplateAViewController) all set up in Interface builder. I would like users to be able to add as many templates themselves and then page through them. I am not sure where to start. I can create views programmatic like so -(IBAction)createnewpage : (id) sender { myAppViewController *viewcontroller = [[myAppViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"TemplateAViewController" bundle:[NSBundle mainBundle]]; [[self view] addSubview:viewcontroller.view]; } I then want to be able to navigate through these views- I guess I need to create a navigation controller to do this ?

• segemented control in iphone not appearing as in interface builder

  here is what i see in IB and here is what appears in the simulator i've used a segmented control with style = "Bezelled". When i change the style to "Bar", IB and simulator are consistent in the display. the style is set in interface builder and not in code, if that matters Also - the edges look rather ugly in the simulator. not what i expected even when it rendered incorrectly.   I'm working on a Django site with a basic three column design. Left column navigation, center column content and right column URL specific content blocks. My question is about the best method of controlling the URL specific content blocks in the right column. I am thinking of something along the lines of the Flatpages app that will make the content available to the template context if the URL matches a pre-determined pattern (perhaps regex?). Does anyone know if such an app already exists? If not, I am looking for some advice about the best way to implement it. Particularly in relation to the matching of patterns to the current URL. Is there any good way to re-use parts of the Django URL dispatcher for this use?

  Hello, I had inserted two jQuery tabs on my site. One div container had the id - tabs and another had the id tabs-for-views. Both of them were working fine till sometime ago, until i made some changes. I don't remember what the exact changes were.. Right now, the first tab uses the jQuery UI theme I am using. As in, I can see the tab navigation and content panels - but on clicking the tabs nothing happens. But the second (tabs-for-views) is not even converted to proper tabs format.
