Hi, I am very new to QT UI development. I need to create a button with text should be below the icon. There is no option to set this property to the QPushButton. When I tried to search in the net, they told me to use QToolButton. When I used the QToolButton I could set the Qt::ToolButtonTextUnderIcon. But I couldn’t find a way to change the dimension i.e. Width, height, x and y position. Please help me to display a icon with text should be bellow the icon.

AJAX Problem - No response text in FireFox, but ok in IE

Hi, I am making a simple AJAX call to an external site. It works ok in IE, but in Firefox, not response text is returned. I think it might have something to do with the response being "chunked", but I'm not sure. Any ideas? How to hide overflow in this example?

[XNA] Forming bounding box only around visible sprites

Hi, this site has been really amazing for helping me with game development however I'm unable to find an answer for the following question (nor am I able to solve it on my own). I am trying to do rectangle collision in my game. My idea is to 1) get the original collision bounding rectangle 2) Transform the texture (pos/rot/scale) 3) Factor changes of item into a matrix and then use this matrix to change the original collision bounds of the item. However, my textures contain a lot of transparency, transparency that affect the overall height/width of the texture (I do this to maintain power of two dimensions). Add Controls to GroupBox which was created dynamically

I add GroupBoxes to an ItemsControl dynamically using: string name_ = "TestName", header_ = "TestHeader" GroupBox MyGroupBox = new GroupBox { Name = name_, Header= header_, Width = 240, Height = 150, Foreground=new SolidColorBrush(Color.FromArgb(255, 0, 0, 0)) }; MyItemsControl.Items.Add(MyGroupBox); Now I need to add content to this GroupBox, like a few TextBlocks created like: TextBlock MyTextBlock = new TextBlock {Text = "test"}; But I can't figure out how to do that. Normally to a Grid or something like that I would just use .Children.Add(MyTextBlock), but that doesn't work here. Also I have to be able to remove specific Items from the ItemsControl again (best would be by the name of the Item, name_ in this example).

Float right is making background-color disappear in IE while hovering.

Problem on style a button

Hello i am new on Silverlight, i tring to make a base for a button and that button will change the central image accoring to the situation, however some parts will continue the same, for this reason i make a UserControl and i call that user Control from the code and add to the grid that i need. But this Usercontrol that i am trying to add have a style pre-defined and i don´t geted how i change de image background. [as3] Movieclip.width returns higher value than Movieclip stage on Width.

I have a Movieclip on stage with nested movieclips inside. All referenced at 0,0. None of the child movieclips load any dynamic content, animate or have Masked Layers. It does have an input textfield in one of the child MCs. The parent MC shows 280 px width, while it returns 313 px with a .width trace. There is no code that alters the .width value of the parent MC at run-time. And the ParentMC on stage is not scaled (it is at 100% width/height). Any pointers, to what could be the reasons for the discrepancy in .width values on stage and on run-time? Its breaking the scaling code that follows.

I created a new Thread (because GUI dont response) for the calculation of the pixels and the colors. In this Thread(Mehtod) I´m using the Dispatcher to Refresh my Image in the ViewBox after the calculations are ready. When I´m dont put the calculation in a seperate Thread then I can refresh or build my Image. PS: Sry for my bad english

Resize a DIV when its text changes

I wanted to build a custom html button without using any solution like bootstrap etc. but from scratch. I decided to use a div to build my button with very good results. However, when the text changes its length that does not mean the div will change its width as well. Should I approach this using javascript or is there a CSS solution I am missing. Apologies for missing code: div { position: relative; width: 121px; height: 30px; } I need a minimum width and not a dynamic this is why I used a fixed one. In case there is not a CSS alternative then I will use a javascript approach.

Why are some strings displayed as garbage when I scroll my read-only multiline Win32 edit control ve

In my native C+ Win32 GUI application I have a property sheet with two property pages. One of the property pages contains an edit box: EDITTEXT IDC_EDIT_ID,x,y,width,height,ES_MULTILINE | ES_READONLY | NOT WS_BORDER | WS_VSCROLL | WS_HSCROLL | NOT WS_TABSTOP,WS_EX_STATICEDGE I set a multiline text to this edit box. The text has more lines than the edit can fit, so some of the text is clipped and a vertical scroll bar appears. When I scroll up with the mouse the lines that come "from under clip area" are drawn as garbage - it looks like first one line is drawn, then some other line is drawn on the same place without first painting the background. The lines that just move up - ones that were visible before scrolling and remain visible after scrolling are displayed allright. What's the reason and workaround for this behavior?

I want the lime colored border to go totally around the white central area without increasing the height of the ft or hd divs. How do I achieve that? I know it's not what toastr (or toast notifs in general) are meant to be used for, but I want to use them as a modal notification. My idea is following. Hi, I would like to create a picture in PHP with GD composed by different other pictures. For example I have 6 pictures (or more) and I would like to create ONE picture who contain these different pictures. The Difficulty is that my final picture must have a fixed width and height (304x179), so if the different pictures are too big they must be cut. This is an example from IconFinder : This picture is composed by 6 images, but the 3rd bird (green) is cutted, and the 4, 5 and 6 are cutted in the bottom. If i make site with a 7-8 different templates where 1 templates of home pages 1 is for inner content pages and other template for different type of landing pages. and different style needed for same HTML elements in website , For example : for inner pages H2 has different style but for landing pages H2 is different in color, font -size, line height, top bottom margin How i should manage all this ? any tips to make good,easily manageable, scan-able CSS. Window sizing constraints by content

I want the window to respect MinWidth/MinHeight and MaxWidth/MaxHeight specifications of the content control inside. Some suggested using SizeToContent, but this only helps to set the initial window size, not the constraints. Others suggested overriding MeasureOverride and setting window's Min/Max height and width there, but this seems to be somewhat unclean, considering that such a trivial problem should surely have a purely declarative solution. Just to mention another solution which seems reasonable but does not work (and had been previously mentioned in an answer which got deleted): binding MinWidth of the window to MinWidth of the control does not take into account window decorations.

Drawing Image onto Canvas Stretches Image?

I have this code (stolen from the web): function readIt() { var reader = new FileReader(); reader.onload = (function(e) { var img = new Image(); img.src = e.target.result; var c = document.getElementById("canvas"); var ctx = c.getContext("2d"); ctx.drawImage(img, 0, 0); } ); reader.readAsDataURL(document.getElementById('userImage').files[0]); } Which works up to a point. The canvas's width and height are set to the size of the image, but only the top left of the image appears - It appears to be stretched so it fits all the space allocated to the canvas (enough to display the whole image - 615px x 615px). If I add an <img> element sized the same size as the canvas and point the src to the image in the file system it appears perfect. I'm using Chrome, but it appears the same in Firefox. Keeping some files private

Hi, I was trying to create a directory of private files that could only be accessed when a user logs in. To do this, I used a folder outside the web directory, and then php to access it, if allowed. Here's an example: function display_movie($file){ printf("<video id='movie' width='960' height='416' controls='controls' onerror='fix()'> <source src='movie.php?file=%s' type='video/ogg; codecs=\"theora, vorbis\"'> </video>", rawurlencode($file)); } This works great for images, but breaks the media player. Also, I've only tested this locally on a Linux machine. Any ideas? Thanks.
