  • Do I need to restart my server after editing fstab and mtab?

    I'm just wondering if I need to restart my server after editing fstab and mtab. I changed something in this file manually due to problem with awstats report. I am using ISPConfig 3 with the help of the tutorial from howtoforge. But due to removing/deleting of some account, the configuration of fstab and mtab messed up. I also ask this question at howtoforge forum but until now no one has answered. If you'd like to read my question please visit it here. I tried very hard to fix the problem w/o luck. Update: Here's what happen to my fstab: Before the value was (I omitted the other): /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/mydomain.com /var/www/clients/client1/web1/log none bind,nobootwait 0 0 /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/example.com /var/www/clients/client1/web2/log none bind,nobootwait 0 0 So I changed it to the correct path: /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/mydomain.com /var/www/clients/client1/web2/log none bind,nobootwait 0 0 /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/example.com /var/www/clients/client1/web3/log none bind,nobootwait 0 0 I also found mtab to have the same value as above that's why I edited it manually. from: /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/mydomain.com /var/www/clients/client1/web1/log none rw,bind 0 0 /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/example.com /var/www/clients/client1/web2/log none rw,bind 0 0 to: /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/mydomain.com /var/www/clients/client1/web2/log none rw,bind 0 0 /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/example.com /var/www/clients/client1/web3/log none rw,bind 0 0 I edited those value because the correct path of mydomain.com and example.com should be under web2 and web3 folder respectively. As of now the log of example.com is pointed to: /var/www/clients/client1/web2/log when it should be: /var/www/clients/client1/web3/log So I am thinking that this is because of fstab and mtab. Please guide me how to point the log correctly to it's default directory. I explain the scenario one by one at this link. to dawud: Based on your example mount -o remount,noexec /var, should I run mount -o remount,noexec /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/example.com?

  • Outlook 2010 Rules on an IMAP Account

    I have an IMAP account set up in Outlook 2010. This account receives notices from scheduled tasks. It receives a LOT of messages. I want to filter the messages that contain error reports into a new folder. I created a rule in Outlook that looks for specific text in the message. The problem is that the filter doesn't seem to see the text unless I have already viewed the message. How can I work around this limitation? EDIT This post was originally for Outlook 2003. I am now using Outlook 2010.

    Do any of the major search engines support a filter to indicate the comprehension level of the user and thus to filter out content beyond their scope? So for example, if someone wanted to find results on "astronomy", but to only show content appropriate for someone in junior-high or lower. Alternatively, if there isn't such an existing method directly, any ideas on how this might be accomplished with existing tools? I found this paper, which seems to indicate folks have looked at this, just don't know if there is a real world tool to do this.

    I have identified some bot traffic in GA, but to filter it accurately I need to filter it by two dimensions, namely Browser and ISP To be clear, I don't want to apply both a filter to block the entire ISP and the entire Browser segments, but only the combination of the two To illustrate: Could someone explain how to do this? It's not apparent using the interface and I'm not able to find any documentation about it

    We are configuring a linux box that will act as internet gateway for an office of 30-50 computers. We are using iptables/HTB for traffic shaping. Is there a way to match traffic on L7 level? It's easy to identify traffic by TCP/UDP ports (like SIP and HTTP). But what if we are dealing with Skype & BitTorent? It was surprise for me that there is no powerful and matured sulution for tasks like this. I found only l7-filter (http://l7-filter.clearfoundation.com/) patch for the Linux kernel, but it's no longer supported (it seems to). Moreover it couldn't be compiled with modern Linux kernels. The only option I found was to use a Cisco router. Are there other ways to identify and shape Skype and Bittorent traffic?

According to the files' properties, I am not the owner and cannot change the permissions. All of my other local gems are accessible without permissions problems, so this is odd.   • jqGrid Filter Toolbar initial default value

    I'm using jqGrid with the filter toolbar, i need to set an initial default filter value to one of the fields so that only rows with status 'Open' are displayed by default, but the user can display Closed rows if desired. At the moment i have a workaround like this setTimeout(function() {$('#gs_Status').val('Open');$("#eventsGrid")[0].triggerToolbar()},500); but it results in a second request and is pretty bad really. Does anybody know how to do this?

    Hi, I'm using Views module and an exposed taxonomy based filter, to allow users to select a subselection of articles. I need to further customize my filter: 1) I want the user able to order the tags alphabetically by clicking a checkbox (if this checkbox is unchecked the default order is reset. 2) I want all tags selected in the beginning to show my user all the articles. (Additional tags can be added by the user later, so I cannot just select all the tags in Views settings, because the new ones would be uncovered). thanks

    Is there a way to filter exceptions in elma using the exception message? Examples: "System.Web.HttpException: Request timed out." I don't want to filter out all HttpException, but only the timed-out requests. "System.Web.HttpException: Maximum request length exceeded." What I don't want to do is write own code for that.     I get a java.lang.outOfMemoryError exception, while writing a big file to the servletOutputStream. Every response is by default wrapped using a ehcache.constructs.web.filter Object for GZIP compression. And as per the logs, the exception is thrown in the Filter object. Is there a way to increase the available memory so, that the outOfMemoryError Exception does not occur ?

    I have a third-part funtion which gives me a filtered queryset (e.g. records with 'valid'=True) but I want to remove a particular condition (e.g. to have all records, both valid and invalid). Is there a way to remove a filter condition to an already-filtered queryset? E.g. only_valid = MyModel.objects.filter(valid=True) all_records = only_valid.**remove_filter**('valid') (I know that it would be better to define 'all_records' before 'only_valid', but this is just an example...)

I've figured out how to read the stopwords out of the text file, but how do I apply the filter operator to the feed, once for every stopword? The documentation states explicitly that operators can't be applied within the loop construct, but hopefully I'm missing something here.

    I'm trying to get a list of stored procedures in t-sql. I am using the line: exec sys.sp_stored_procedures; I would like to filter the results back though, so I only get user created stored procedures. I would like to filter out sp_*, dt_*, fn_*, xp_* and everything else that is a system stored procedure and no interest to me. How can I manipulate the result set returned? Using Sql Server 2008 express.

I am using the following to attempt to preform the filter: orders = MasterOrders.Where("account", mbrAccount).Load(); The end results is setting orders equal to the entire MasterOrders collection and not the filtered results.     What debugging tools are available for directshow filters? Presently, I have a project that compiles and registers a video source filter that I then setup a graph in GraphEdit. I am using c++ in visual studio 2008. Is it possible to get a debugger attached to the filter in any way where I could set break points, inspect variables, etc? Barring that is there a way to log diagnostic information somewhere that I can view in real time?
