  • prevent _doPostBack getting rendered in button markup

    Hi Is it possible to prevent the _doPostBack() call getting rendered on a button? I would like add some custom logic prior to calling the postback. I have added an onClick event to the button e.g. <button id="manualSubmit" runat="server" class="manual-submit" onclick="$('#jeweller-form').hide();" /> However, this just gets rendered inline before the _doPostBack() But the postback gets fired before the jQueryHide takes place I would like to call my own JS function then manually trigger the postback any ideas?

    lint produces some warning like: foo.c XXX Warning 534: Ignoring return value of function bar() From the lint manual 534 Ignoring return value of function 'Symbol' (compare with Location) A function that returns a value is called just for side effects as, for example, in a statement by itself or the left-hand side of a comma operator. Try: (void) function(); to call a function and ignore its return value. See also the fvr, fvo and fdr flags in §5.5 "Flag Options". I want to get this warning, if there exists any, during compilation. Is there any option in gcc/g++ to achieve this? I had turned on -Wall but that apparently did not detect this.

    Hello everyone, I've got the following two commands for imagemagick in the command line: convert in.png container-mask.png +matte -compose CopyOpacity -composite out.png composite container.png out.png -compose multiply final.png Those two commands include 3 files: in.png: the file that should be masked container-mask.png: the back/white mask of the areas of container.png where in.png should be visible container.png image that includes the container for in.png, the one that has been masked in black/white with container-mask.png Now the question is how to transpose this commands into PHP calls.     Hi everyone, I am trying to work out a good way to handle offline/down memcached servers in my current web application that are built with PHP. I just found this link that shows an approach on how to do what I want, I think: http://cmunezero.com/2008/08/11/consistent-memcache-hashing-and-failover-with-php/ Anyhow, it gets me confused when I start working with it and reading the PHP documention about failover with memcache. Why is offline memcache servers added to the $realInstance server pool together with the online servers? Reading the memcache documentation confuses me even more: http://www.php.net/manual/en/memcache.addserver.php status Controls if the server should be flagged as online. Setting this parameter to FALSE and retry_interval to -1 allows a failed server to be kept in the pool so as not to affect the key distribution algorithm. Requests for this server will then failover or fail immediately depending on the memcache.allow_failover setting. Default to TRUE, meaning the server should be considered online. Thanks,

I have added http proxy server under workbench and added http request default under thread group. using port 9090 and target controller test plan - thread group. grouping - do not group samplers. After this setting i have started proxy server and opened internet browser selected manual proxy setting and added address as localhost with port 9090. the issue is Jmeter is nopt recoring anything. Please suggest it is urgent.

In our environment we use windows, c#, msbuild, cruisecontrol.net and subversion. We are currently using DocToHelp to create our help file, which is based on an msword document. I'm looking for some guidance on how to manage the end user documentation. What documentation tools should I use? Should any of the documentation tools be part of the build script? Should the output files from the documentation tool be stored in subversion? What type of help files would be best to use?

    Can someone tell me, when you for example update, insert, delete.. should you then close it like $stmt->close(); ? i checked php manual and don't understand what close() actually does. LIMIT 1"); $stmt->execute(array($email)); $stmt->close(); Next part of my question is, if as an example i had multiple update queries in a transaction after every execute() for each query i am executing should i close them individually ? ... because it's a transaction not sure i need to use $stmt->close(); after each execute(); or just use one $stmt->close(); after all of them ?
