  • Flash Yahoo Maps has stopped working?

    In the past week it appears that Yahoo has changed their crossdomain file to only accept Yahoo domains (http://maps.yahooapis.com/crossdomain.xml): This is causing my applications that use Yahoo Maps to stop working (i.e. security exception). I cannot proxy the calls to Yahoo because the URL is embedded in the MXP file that Yahoo distributes. Does anyone know if there's a workaround or update to this?

  • Windows Service WebBrowser DocumentCompleted Bug

    I've been building a Windows Service to create a WebBrowser object to navigate, login, and download a site's HTML. However, I recently discovered this bug which prevents the DocumentCompleted event from firing if the WebBrowser is not visible: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259935 I've got to assume this is because the Windows Service doesn't allow for a GUI and therefore this bug is tripped. What is the best workaround for this? Thanks for your help.

  • Can I use VS2010's Intellitrace to gather data for a Windows Service?

    I have a Windows service that I'd like to gather some debugging data on using Intellitrace - the problem is that you can't debug a Windows Service by starting it directly from inside VS. I have the service installed, and the very first statement in Service.Start is "Debug.Break", which allows me to attach VS. However, you can't use Intellitrace if a process is already started when you attach. Does anybody know of a workaround for this?

    Hi All, I have loaded a wxBitmap (with transparency .png) in memoryDC now when i am blitting the data from the memoryDc to GCDC that time in transparent part its giving the black color. But if remove the GCDC and use normal ClientDC for display purpose there is no such problem happening, but i cannot remove the wxGCDC because this is only support the transparency in color drawing. Any solution or workaround really helpful. Thanks in advanced

    Hi, I need to validate a date in a web forms application. For this I use a CompareValidator with Operator="DataTypeCheck" Type="Date" The problem is that this Validator doesn't work properly on Firefox with 2 digit years. ( javascript error: m[2] is undefined) With a 4 digits year it's working properly. However, this has proved to be quite distressing as sometimes the VMware gets hold of it and turns off / pauses (ctrl+Z) the virtual machine. Is there a way to disable keyboard shortcuts on VMware?
