    Hey. I try to use SWFUpload Javascript/Flash library for uploading files in my Rails (RoR) app. Upload works with standard form but with SWFUpload I get "HTTP Status: 422" error code. Can someone tell me how to fix that?

  • Changing a column collation

    Hey there, I have a database already set up. I am trying to change the collation to case sensitive on my username column so it restricts login parameters to what they signed up with. However I keep getting this: #1025 - Error on rename of './yebutno_ybn/#sql-76dc_8581dc' to './yebutno_ybn/user' (errno: 150) there is foreign key constraints due to related tables.... any ideas? this will save me a lot of hassle with the php side of things! So I would like a series of select boxes that are populated dynamically based on the previous, however I also would like to add another record to that select box if you cant find the one you want.   • IE6 (yes, IE6) css spacing issue

The background also has a gap in it in IE6, so I'm wondering what my be causing that, as it's probably related to the main issue.     Hey guys, I'm trying to write a shell script under linux, which lists all folders (recursively) with a certain name and no symlink pointing to it. For example I have /home/htdocs/cust1/typo3_src-4.2.11 /home/htdocs/cust2/typo3_src-4.2.12 /home/htdocs/cust3/typo3_src-4.2.12 Now I want to go through all subdirectories of /home/htdocs and find those folders typo3_*, that are not pointed to from somewhere. Should be possible with a shellscript or a command, but I have no idea how. Thanks for you help Stefan

    Hey, I'm trying to add a validation rule to multiple textboxes dynamically. Here's the js: //validate form. $("#SubmitForm").validate(); $("input[id*=Hours]").rules("add", { number: true, messages: { number: "Please enter a valid Hours" } }); This applies the rule to the very first textbox on the page with "Hours" in the id but then it doesn't apply it to any of the other ones. I've set up MacVim to work with netrw for remote editing (yaaay!), but whenever I save a file, I get the following error: :!scp -q '/var/folders/PN/PNhWJAr5GGC0WfeLdFgWV++++TU/-Tmp-/v771493/0' 'remot_host:path/remote_file.css' Press ENTER or type command to continue Hitting ENTER removes it and I can edit again. I don't know what it is and it's annoying, but perhaps not broken. Tips?

    Hey In my iPhone app, I want to load a video from youtube, perform some basic image processing on it and display it to the user. I am using openCV to do my image processing, and I know I can use it for grabbing all of the frames from the video as well (cvRetrieveFrame). My only problem is that cvRetrieveFrame expects to get its source of type CvCapture* which can be created either by a camera source or by a file name. How can I set a youtube video file as the source for CvCapture*? Thanks,

  • gnuplot: x11 terminal in "interactive mode" while calling gnuplot from shell

    Hey there, I want to call gnuplot with a shell command, all the commands are stored in, let's say, "load.gp". If I start the gnuplot shell and type "load 'load.gp'" I can change the viewpoint by dragging the splot with the mouse around. The Problem is, I can't figure out how to reach that without being in the gnuplot shell. echo "load 'load.gp'" | gnuplot -persist or gnuplot -persist 'load.gp' won't work. Can somebody help me?   • Netbeans render unrecognized files as html

    Hey Everyone, I am using Netbeans and very happy with it. Unfortunately I am having a little problem with it that I cant seem to figure out. I am using Silverstripe CMS and it uses a templating system that syntactically is basically just a mix of php and html. These files however end in .ss and therefore netbeans doesnt format and highlight them at all. How do I make netbeans format and highlight all .ss files just as if they where normal html files?
