    I have a requirement to implement some kind of dictionary object. Something like MyDict<K,V1, V2). For example if I have a Question as Key(k) then Correct answer is V1 . V2 is user selected answer. Is there a collection that would satisfy this requirement in C#. If I have to design my own type, what interfaces should I implement. ICollection and Ilist ?

  • progress at work

    I work in a small department in a very large company. Our department operates largely as a independent unit within the company. Each member of the team has a different role. My role within the team is a operations/admin and no one knew of my skills in programing as I never said anything before about it. I just did my work and in the free time read up on things for my own development Our developer who used to look after our websites has left a few months ago. Now when we require edits to our websites even basic HTML changes we outsource the work. We are getting shafted big time. I could of so said something sooner to highlight my skills in this area but I guess I was just happy to do my own development projects. And one reason was they are using asp.net and I have mainly done things in php. I only hinted before that I have done things but I did not want to reveal them before I had completed anything. I was working on something for myself that the company was also trying to implement something similar(e commerce site). I used open source and they decided to go for a propriety solution. Now I have finished my project and showed it to my boss, their project is still not completed and is quite expensive. He was impressed with what I showed him and suggested I should go for courses to learn asp.net. that I may be able to do the development work for them and there are some big upcoming projects in the future. He said this would be a benefit for me that I should look to be doing a better then role then admin. My employer does have a policy if relevent to the role they may support the costs of courses. Now how do I play this what should I say to my boss. I want to get advise on which MS certified courses would be good for asp.net and how to best approach my boss to see if they will pay all the amount for the course. And how much different will asp.net be from php.

    Hello all, I have installed native apache and mysql,php in my linux server. I tried a page using phpinfo() and it worked.But when I try my own pages, the execution of the page stops when it comes to the php tag, even the css tag following it doesn't come to the browser.   • C++ not recognizing my class

    I keep getting class undefined error from Visual Studio with my C++ code. My file looks like this: namespace myProject; scope myProject{ class FreeFormWindowsWidgetWindow : public WindowsWidget{ // shell } } But when I put FreeFormWindowsWidgetWindow in the same file as my other classes, it sees it. It doesn't seem to see anything in this file. How can I fix it and keep FreeFormWidgetWindow in its own file?

  • run MsBuild tasks (targets?) after the solution is built?

    Since this question seems to have baffled / underwhelmed SO I will rephrase it with a partially formed idea of my own. Could I somehow set up a batch file or something that runs after the whole solution is built, and this batch file would call msbuild to build specific targets inside a certain project? In order for it to work, I would have to somehow force msbuild build the target without regard to whether it thinks it's "up to date", because that is the core issue I'm butting up against.

    I'm building an app which will allow a user to scan the barcode on a 'shelf', 'box' or 'product' which will then bring up that particular item or all the associated items. As these are all separate models with their own ID's, I need a global ID table. I was thinking of a polymorphic table called 'barcodes' barcodes id barcode_number barcodable Is there an easy way to do this? Or is polymorphic the best way?

  • Scrollbar moves back after WM_VSCROLL

    I have a window with its own H and V scrolling. I'm handling the event like this: case WM_VSCROLL: SetScrollPos(hWnd, SB_VERT, (int)HIWORD(wParam), TRUE); break; all I want is for the position of the scroll bar to stay once I release my mouse but what it's doing is just going back to the top after. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

    Hi, I'm looking at market stats here for sdk distribution: http://developer.android.com/resources/dashboard/platform-versions.html saying that 31% of marketplace users are still running 1.5. Is it true that an OS update went out for G1 and myTouch users? I'm wondering why so many people are still running 1.5 if so? Just curious because I'd like to use th setView() method introduced in 1.6 for TabSpec, but not if so many people are still using 1.5, I might have to roll my own control, Thanks

PreferenceFragment provides you with two ways of doing this: getPreferenceManager().getSharedPreferences().registerOnSharedPreferenceChangeListener(this); and getPreferenceScreen().getSharedPreferences().registerOnSharedPreferenceChangeListener(this); Which one should be used? What's the difference? I don't really understand the distinction made in the Android docs.

  • This code works fine in Chrome, Firefox but not in IE.

    Hi, I'm trying to make a jquery tooltip that appears when a user mouses over a link. In my case the link is using display:block style so that it covers a large area. It works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox but in Internet Explorer it doesn't work at all. The tooltip doesn't show, the browsers own tooltip shows etc... This is the same question of this link: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1515722/removing-nidn-in-nodereference-autocomplete According with the first answer (Grayside) I've created my own module and activated. Then I create a new content, I look sth up in the nodereference field and finally select it - it works (Doesn't appear the [nid:n]). But, when I view/preview or save or edit the content, the [nid:n] appears again. Anybody can help me?

    Is there a built in equivalent to the .NET framework's DateAdd or AddMonths functions? I'm looking for the easiest, cleanest way to add X month to a Javascript date. I'd rather not handle the rolloing over of the year as done here. or have to write my own function as done here. Is there something built in that is as nice as the .NET Date.AddMonths function? Or something close?

  • CMake with include and source paths - basic setup

    I'm trying to set up a test project looking like my own project just to get things working first and it looks like this: /MainProject/inc/main.h /MainProject/src/main.cpp /LibProject/inc/test.h /LibProject/src/test.cpp I've found some tutorials, but I cant find out how to set up this when I have the inc and src folder? How would the CMakeLists.txt files look? Would I have one in /, one in each of the project folders? It seems like I dont need to have one in the inc and src folders?
