• Axis 1.4 Java: Modify HTTP response code

  Hello, Is there a way to modify the HTTP response code when using apache axis 1.4 for java? This would be useful for testing purposes, for example simulating server side errors. I've already tried the following: Set the HTTP code directly in the http servlet Request: MessageContext context = MessageContext.getCurrentContext(); HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse) context.getProperty( HTTPConstants.MC_HTTP_SERVLETRESPONSE); response.setStatus(e.getErrorCode()); // no effect Set the HTTP code as axis message context property: MessageContext context = MessageContext.getCurrentContext(); context.setProperty(HTTPConstants.MC_HTTP_STATUS_CODE, e.getErrorCode()); But this didn't seem to work, the actual HTTP code always was 200.   Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to use the FilterDescriptor control from code behind? On the page load of my form I set the datasource of a grid in the code behind, not using a DomainDataSource control, like: TestDomainContext context = new TestDomainContext(); dataGridEmployees.ItemsSource = context.EmployeePositions; context.Load(context.GetEmployeesWithPositionQuery()); I have a textbox on my page that the user can enter into to filter on employee position. Is it now possible to add FilterDescriptor to the source of the DataGrid in code behind? Or would I manually need to filter the results of the context.GetEmployeesWithPositionQuery, for example on KeyUp event of the filter TextBox?

  Hi While researching how to create custom compound views in Android, I have come across this pattern a lot (example comes from the Jteam blog) : public class FirstTab extends LinearLayout { private ImageView imageView; private TextView textView; private TextView anotherTextView; public FirstTab(Context context, AttributeSet attributeSet) { super(context, attributeSet); LayoutInflater inflater = (LayoutInflater) context.getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); inflater.inflate(R.layout.firstTab, this); } } I mostly understand how this is working, except for the part where inflate() is called. The documentation says that this method returns a View object, but in this example the author does not store the result anywhere. After inflation, how is the new View created fromt eh XML associated with this class? I thought about assigning it to "this", but that seems very wrong. thanks for any clarification.

• EF 4.0 - Many to Many relationship - problem with deletes

  My Entity Model is as follows: Person , Store and PersonStores Many-to-many child table to store PeronId,StoreId When I get a person as in the code below, and try to delete all the StoreLocations, it deletes them from PersonStores as mentioned but also deletes it from the Store Table which is undesirable. Also if I have another person who has the same store Id, then it fails saying "The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint \"FK_PersonStores_StoreLocations\". The conflict occurred in database \"EFMapping2\", table \"dbo.PersonStores\", column 'StoreId'.\r\nThe statement has been terminated" as it was trying to delete the StoreId but that StoreId was used for another PeronId and hence exception thrown.   Hi Guys, This is PresentModelViewController, when click a button i will get this "DoctorListViewController" controller from down. object allocation are not releasing in this controller specially in cellForRowAtIndexPath delegate method. UITableViewCell and two labels allocated in this is not releasing.   I'm new in both javascript and V8. According to Google's Embedder's Guide, I saw something in the context section talking about built-in utility javascript functions. And I also found some .js files(e.g. math.js) in the downloaded source code, so I tried to write a simple program to call functions in these files, but I failed. Does a context created by Persistent<Context> context = Context::New() have any built-in js functions? How can I access them? Is there a way to first import existing js files as a library(something like src="xxx" type="text/javascript" in HTML page) and then run my own execute script? Can I call google maps api through the embedded V8 library in app? How?

  I have an HttpClient instance that's shared by a number of threads. I would like to use it to make a single authenticated request. Because only the single request should be authenticated, I don't want to modify the HttpClient instance as described in the documentation. Here's what I've worked out instead, which isn't working. I create a new Property instance via Property *p = [NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"Property" inManagedObjectContext:self.moContext];, set up the relationships and call [self.moContext save:&error]. This seems to work, as error is still nil and the object gets saved (I can see the number of properties when logging the Item instance, see above). However, the delegate methods are not fired. This seems to me due to the possibly messed up fetchRequest(Controller). Any ideas? Did I mess up the second fetch request? Is this the right way to fetch all entities in a to-many-relationship for a particular instance at all?

  Hi all, I am trying to use Core Data in my application and I have been succesful in storing data into the entity.The data storage is done in the applicationDidFinishLaunchingWithOptions() method.But when I run the app again,it again gets saved.So how do I check if the data is already present or not?? • Entity Framework 4.0 Unit Testing

  Hi, I've implemented unit testing along the lines of this article with a fake object context and IObjectSet with POCO in EF4. http://blogs.msdn.com/adonet/archive/2009/12/17/test-driven-development-walkthrough-with-the-entity-framework-4-0.aspx But I'm unsure how to implement a couple of methods on my fake object context for testing. I have CreateQuery and ExecuteFunction methods on my object context interface so that I can execute ESQL and Stored Procedures but I cant (easily) implement them in my fake object context. An alternative would be to use a test double of my repository instead of a double of my object context as suggested here: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/adonetefx/thread/c4921443-e8a3-4414-92dd-eba1480a07ad/ But this would mean my real repository isnt being tested and would seem to just bypass the issue. Can anyone offer any recommendations?
