  Hello, I am using VS 2008 C# Windows Application. I have this DLL Import I am trying to use. RichText1.text = WrapCompressedRTFStream(_CompressedRichText.ToString(),something,somethingelse); The first error I get is "cannot convert from 'string' to 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.UCOMIStream" I hope someone who understands this posts an answer that helps!

  Might be my question is abstract or out of context, but i am asking here since i have little idea how this happens. I am wondering how big application/ platform break down there application in to multiple module and how they able to manage modules dependencies. For example in some E-commerce application they tend to break down it in various modules like pricing,promotions,shipping.import/export and many more. when we develop those application we hardly think about the underlying modules and how they have been designed to provides functionalists. Most of those module are not web-applications but are standalone module and not deployed in the web-app as jar files. can any one help me to understand how they break up things or is there any standard way to do this.any help/resources to get insight will really be helpful

• Android/Eclipse: Creating multiple builds with different com identifiers.

  Hi, I have an app that requires two builds - one is a demo app, the other uses the same codebase but uses a flag to introduce different functionality. The identifier must be different each time (e.g. com.siteA.appA and com.siteB.appB). However it doesn't appear to be trivial to use the refactor functionality in Eclipse to change the com identifier - all references change apart from the "import com.siteA.appA.R" reference. Is there a way to create different builds with different com identifiers/app name within Eclipse? Thanks

  I am attempting to add functionality to my Django app: when a new post is approved, I want to update the corresponding Facebook Page's status with a message and a link to the post automatically. Basic status update. I have downloaded and installed pyfacebook - and I have read through the tutorial from Facebook. I've been looking, but can't find out how I can keep this all working with the script and not having to login via a web browser. Any ideas?

  I realize that the method run must be declared because its declared in the runnable interface. But my question comes when this class runs how is the Thread object allowed if there is no import call to a particular package? how does runnable know anything about Thread or its methods? does the runnable interface extend the thread class?   I have 2 tables that I import to EF model. First table has a property [section] that acts as foreign key to the second table. When I map this property in model to the table and try to compile I get this error: Problem in Mapping Fragments starting at lines 158, 174: Non-Primary-Key column(s) [Section] are being mapped in both fragments to different conceptual side properties - data inconsistency is possible because the corresponding conceptual side properties can be independently modified. If i remove this property from the model it passes, but when I query the data I don't have the section field. I know that I can get it by using the navigation field and reading this property from the second table, but to make it work I must include the other table in my query. var res = from name in Context.Table1.Include("Table2")... Why do I need to include the association just for one field?

• SSIS web service task producing "object reference" error

  Our care management system uses a web service to import data. I've successfully executed one of its methods using soapUI, and now I want to replicate this with an SSIS 2008 web service task, but I'm running into a problem. I've created the "HTTP Connection Manager" successfully, and specified the location of the "WSDLFile", but when I go to the Input tab and select the Service from the dropdown (there is only one), I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error, and and the Method dropdown is empty. Any idea what this is trying to tell me?

  I am using the h5py python package to read files in HDF5 format. (e.g. somefile.h5) I would like to write the contents of a dataset to a text file. For example, I would like to create a text file with the following contents: 1,20,31,75,142,324,78,12,3,90,8,21,1 I am able to access the dataset in python using this code: import h5py f = h5py.File('/Users/Me/Desktop/thefile.h5', 'r') group = f['/level1/level2/level3'] dset = group['dsetname'] My naive approach is too slow, because my dataset has over 20000 entries: # write all values to file for index in range(len(dset)): # do not add comma after last value if index == len(dset)-1: txtfile.write(repr(dset[index])) else: txtfile.write(repr(dset[index])+',') txtfile.close() return None Is there a faster way to write this to a file? • Best way to test instance methods without running __init__

  I've got a simple class that gets most of its arguments via init, which also runs a variety of private methods that do most of the work. Output is available either through access to object variables or public methods. Here's the problem - I'd like my unittest framework to directly call the private methods called by init with different data - without going through init. What's the best way to do this? So far, I've been refactoring these classes so that init does less and data is passed in separately. This makes testing easy, but I think the usability of the class suffers a little.   i have a scenario where i draw a network and set all it's paraments on swing based gui, after that i have to translate this network into a python based script which another framework reads and realize this network in the form of virtual machines. Now for now in order to realize the drawn network on java GUI here is what i am doing: I simply take the information from GUI and creates a new python file like the one above using java code and then run this file in mininet, which works fine somehow. I want to know, is this the correct and robust way how i am doing this or should i be looking further into java-python bridge like scenarios to be more effective or so as to say more professional.

  i have searched for calendar libraries and i have found TimeSquare calender on this site https://github.com/square/android-times-square ive downloaded the file and add made an import for the folder in ecilipse and everithing worked fine then i have exported with gradle and imported in android studio and everything worked fine.THE problem is that i want to use this calender in an app i'm developping so i have added folder library as a module and synced with grade but when i define <com.squareup.timessquare.CalendarPickerView android:id="@+id/calendar_view" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="match_parent" /> just in xml and run the app it crashes on setcontentview and i cannot make anything in plus can somebody tell me how to use this library correctly.

  I need fastest way to convert files from latin1 to utf-8 in python. The files are large ~ 2G. ( I am moving DB data ). So far I have import codecs infile = codecs.open(tmpfile, 'r', encoding='latin1') outfile = codecs.open(tmpfile1, 'w', encoding='utf-8') for line in infile: outfile.write(line) infile.close() outfile.close() but it is still slow. The conversion takes one fourth of the whole migration time. I could also use a linux command line utility if it is faster than native python code.

  Hi, I'm using Python on Appengine and am looking up the geolocation of an IP address like this: import pygeoip gi = pygeoip.GeoIP('GeoIP.dat') Location = gi.country_code_by_addr(self.request.remote_addr) (pygeoip can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/pygeoip/) I want to geolocate each page of my app for a user so currently I lookup the IP address once then store it in memcache. My question - which is quicker? Looking up the IP address each time from the .dat file or fetching it from memcache? Are there any other pros/cons I need to be aware of? For general queries like this, is there a good guide to teach me how to optimise my code and run speed tests myself? I'm new to python and coding in general so apologies if this is a basic concept.   Hi all, I have a public key and an encrypted string. I could encrypt with publickey successfully.But when i try to decrypt using the publickey it fails. I mean when i pass the publickey seckeyDecrypt it fails. I have Googled and found out that by default kSecAttrCanDecrypt is false for public keys.So When i import the public key, i have added this particular line , [publicKeyAttr setObject:(id)kCFBooleanTrue forKey:(id)kSecAttrCanDecrypt]; But there is no improvement it still fails. Please somebody help.

  I'm rather new to regex expressions and need help with a simple expression. I'm using Pentaho for ETL (Replace in String transformation) and I have column values that I need to add leading zeros to and parse out text as part of the database import. So far I have been unable to add the leading zero. The column is called Region and the values are "region 8", "region 10", "region 11". My regex expression is ['Region'] which will eliminate the region text but produces results = "8", "10", "11". I need values to produce "08", "10", "11". So all the single digit numbers must have leading zeros.

Also, "mods" doesn't describe the win-key, only Ctrl, Shift and Alt. Having such limited access to keyboard input is a serious impediment for real application development. Am I doing anything wrong here or is just freeglut just crippled? Is GLUT crippled in general?
