• Can a Windows computer access Pulse sound server on an Ubuntu computer?

  With help I received in this question, I set up all my Ubuntu computers so that they all access a central computer for sound output, using Pulse Audio Preferences. I have some Windows computers as well. I was wondering if it is also possible to make them clients of the sound server computer, so that they will send their sound output over the network to be played by the Ubuntu computer running the Pulse audio sound server. And if so, how?

It is often heard as argument that the high spec workstations increase the productivity (or the low spec machines impact productivity to the greater extent).   We have a site that has four "streams" for language and each language has different content based on that language and location (US English, Spanish, Canadian English and Canadian French). I'm wondering if I have to set up accounts for each stream so that we can see the stats from each stream only, or do I use one account and somehow tell GA to separate the different streams based on language. For example, the US English site starts at (/en/) while the Canadian English site starts at (/ca_en/), etc.

  I have an Intel GMA 950 chipset in my netbook. I want to learn how to write OpenGL shader programs with this fantastic tutorial and therefore need OpenGL 3.3. Sadly, my graphics card only supports OpenGL 1.4. I think that MESA can emulate OpenGL in software, so I'm wondering if it can emulate OpenGL 3.3 without any hardware accelleration (performance is very much no problem, since this is only for learning and testing puroses). Is there any possibility to do this?

  I came across a really neat modular theme for WordPress a while ago, but I can't remember the name so I'm wondering if somebody can help out. It was a paid theme with a dedicated company behind it if I'm not mistaken. The theme allowed you to change the colors of all the content areas, define widgets, and resize content areas. I'm really interested in being able to resize columns and such at the touch of a button, getting too old for the usual CSS micromanagement that goes on with brittle themes.

• Should users be deleted after inactivity on a website?

  When you have a social website or a website where you can register, would you eventually delete them after a certain time (after a year of inactivity) or would you rather keep their account records for ever? I know websites like Facebook have large amount of inactive, duplicated and fake accounts. So I'm wondering if after two years of inactivity it would be alright to send the account a warning email of deletion unless they log in. Just thinking of a clean and efficient database management or any implications this may cause to new potential users.

  I was wondering, if you want to make a NBA game on smartphones, without the license held by EA, the first solution seems to name your teams with a different name, such as "Chicragro Brulls" (this is just for the example), but would it be possible to just call your team with the name of the city, such as "Chicago vs. Dallas" ? I know the first solution was chosen by Pro Evolution Soccer, would you know any other game that don't use a license?

My company's IT policies require that users not be listed on login screens.   I was wondering does anyone know which of the features in php 5.4 are not supported in php hiphop. There's some questions on the hiphop github wiki, such as this one, that very vaguely state HipHop does not currently support all PHP 5.4 features.
