  • JQuery Thickbox - Can't get it to display

    Hi All, I am using JQuery for the first time today. I can't make it to work (It simple doesnt show up). I want to display inline content using Thickbox (Eventually I will be displaying a PDF in an iframe).   • Sqlite catalog and schema settings (for MyBatis generator)

    I have been trying to use the MyBatis generator on a Sqlite database but can't seem to find what settings to use for the XML attributes catalog and schema. I can't find any method or property in pshost that returns the exit code. This engine I have needs to ensure that script executes correctly. Any help would be appreciated. regards Bob. Its the $lastexitcode and the $? variables I need to bring back. Hi, Finally answered. I found out about the $host variable. It implements a callback into the host, specifically a custom PSHost object, enabling you to return the $lastexitcode. This means 43 characters are valid: 0-9 A-Z (space) and -.$/+%. The * character will not appear in the input as it is used as the start and stop characters. Output Each character encoded in Code 39 bar codes have nine elements, five bars and four spaces. Bars will be represented with # characters, and spaces will be represented with the space character. Three of the nine elements will be wide. The narrow elements will be one character wide, and the wide elements will be three characters wide. A inter-character space of a single space should be added between each character pattern. The pattern should be repeated so that the height of the bar code is eight characters high.     There are two similar namespaces and assemblies for speech recognition in .NET. I’m trying to understand the differences and when it is appropriate to use one or the other. There is System.Speech.Recognition from the assembly System.Speech (in System.Speech.dll). System.Speech.dll is a core DLL in the .NET Framework class library 3.0 and later There is also Microsoft.Speech.Recognition from the assembly Microsoft.Speech (in microsoft.speech.dll). Microsoft.Speech.dll is part of the UCMA 2.0 SDK I find the docs confusing and I have the following questions: System.Speech.Recognition says it is for "The Windows Desktop Speech Technology", does this mean it cannot be used on a server OS or cannot be used for high scale applications? The UCMA 2.0 Speech SDK ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd266409%28v=office.13%29.aspx ) says that it requires Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 as a prerequisite. However, I’ve been told at conferences and meetings that if I do not require OCS features like presence and workflow I can use the UCMA 2.0 Speech API without OCS. Is this true? If I’m building a simple recognition app for a server application (say I wanted to automatically transcribe voice mails) and I don’t need features of OCS, what are the differences between the two APIs?

    I have taken backup of SQL Server 2008 DB on server, and download them to local environment. I am trying to restore that database and it is keep on giving me following error. An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo) ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The media family on device 'C:\go4sharepoint_1384_8481.bak' is incorrectly formed. SQL Server cannot process this media family. RESTORE HEADERONLY is terminating abnormally. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 3241) For help, click: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?ProdName=Microsoft+SQL+Server&ProdVer=09.00.4053&EvtSrc=MSSQLServer&EvtID=3241&LinkId=20476 I have tried to create a temp DB on server and tried to restore the same backup file and that works. I have also tried no. of times downloading file from server to local pc using different options on Filezila (Auto, Binary) But its not working. After that I tried to execute following command on server. BACKUP DATABASE go4sharepoint_1384_8481 TO DISK=' C:\HostingSpaces\dbname_jun14_2010_new.bak' with FORMAT And it is giving me following error. Msg 3201, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Cannot open backup device 'c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.SQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\Backup\ C:\HostingSpaces\dbname_jun14_2010_new.bak'. Operating system error 123(The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.). Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.     Continuing a previous question I asked here, I now need to move to vs2010. I've gotten the most recent weekly build of WiX 3.5, the June 5th 2010 version.     Hi, I'm new to the Visual C# designer so these are general and pretty basic question on how to work with the designer. When we for instance add a label to a form and then double-click on it in the Visual C# designer (I'm using Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition), the following things happen: The designer generates code within Form1.Designer.cs (assume default names for simplicity) to add the label, then with the double-click it will add the event handler label1_Click to the label within Form1.Designer.cs, using the following code this.label1.Click += new System.EventHandler(this.label1_Click); and it adds the event handler method to Form1.cs private void label1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { } If I now remove the label only the code within Form1.Designer.cs will be removed but the label1_Click method will stay within Form1.cs even if it isn't used by anything else. But if I'm using reset within Properties-Events for the Click-event from within the designer even the label1_Click method in Form1.cs will be removed. 1.) Isn't that a little inconsistent behavior? 2.) What is the recommended way of removing such generated event handler-code? 3.) What is the best "mental approach"/best practice for using the designer? I would approach it by mental separation in the way that Form1.cs is 100% my responsibility and that on the other hand I'm not touching the code in Form1.Designer.cs at all. Does that make sense or not? Since sometimes the designer removes sth. from Form1.cs I'm not sure about this. 4.) Can you recommend a simple designer tutorial that assumes no Visual C# designer knowledge but expects/doesn't explain C#.     I have taken backup of SQL Server 2008 DB on server, and download them to local environment. I am trying to restore that database and it is keep on giving me following error. An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo) ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The media family on device 'C:\go4sharepoint_1384_8481.bak' is incorrectly formed. SQL Server cannot process this media family. RESTORE HEADERONLY is terminating abnormally. Operating system error 123(The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.). Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.     How do I properly register javascript blocks in an ASP.NET MVC 2 (RTM) Editor template? The specific scenario I'm in is that I want to use Dynarch JSCal2 DateTimePicker for my standard datetime picker, but this question is in general to any reusable javascript package. I have my template working properly now but it has my JS and CSS includes in my master page and I would rather only include these things if I actually need them: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../Content/JSCal2-1.7/jscal2.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../Content/JSCal2-1.7/border-radius.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="../../Scripts/JSCal2-1.7/jscal2.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="../../Scripts/JSCal2-1.7/lang/en.js"></script> So obviously I could just put these lines into my template, but then if I have a screen that has 5 DateTimePickers, then this content would be duplicated 5 times which wouldn't be ideal. Anyways, I still want my View's Template to trigger this code being put into the <head> of my page. What I'm finding is that when I use Google's Webmaster Tools to fetch my site (to see what a GoogleBot sees) it sees this.   • Does anyone use Fortify 360 with Classic ASP? a Header Manipulation vulnerability story

    Good morning, everyone. I'm on a short-term contracting gig, trying to patch some vulnerabilities in their legacy code. The application I'm working on is a combination of Classic ASP(VBScript) and .Net 2.0 (C#). One of the tools they have purchased is Fortify 360. Let's say that this is a current classic ASP page in the application: <%@ Language=VBScript %> <% Dim var var = Request.QueryString("var") ' do stuff Response.Redirect "nextpage.asp?var=" & var %> I know, I know, short and very dangerous. So we wrote some (en/de)coders and validation/verification routines: <%@ Language=VBScript %> <% Dim var var = Decode(Request.QueryString("var")) ' do stuff if isValid(var) then Response.Redirect "nextpage.asp?var=" & Encode(var) else 'throw error page end if %> And still Fortify flags this as vulnerable to Header Manipulation. How or what exactly is Fortify looking for? The reason I suspect that Fortify is looking for specific key words is that on the .Net side of things, I can include the Microsoft AntiXss assembly and call functions such as GetSafeHtmlFragment and UrlEncode and Fortify is happy. Any advice?
