• Debugging a Broken Stylesheet: CSS Background Disappears when Scroll Off Bottom of Screen

  I recently worked on an existing project where we decided to add a background to the site. Whether this is a background color or background image, the same problem occured. The problem was that the background loaded fine in the screen. But when the user used the scrollbar to scroll below the bottom edge of the screen, the background immediately turned white.   I am trying to get Juju working on Windows 8 but I am running in to some errors when trying to get juju to see my ssh keys: C:\Users\username> juju bootstrap error: error parsing environment "azure": read C:\Users\user\SkyDrive\Documents\Azure\ssh\: The handle is invalid.   Today Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for SQL Server 2008 SP3. KB article: KB #2771833 There are 9 fixes listed at the time of writing The build number is 10.00.5828.00 Relevant for @@VERSION between 10.00.5500 and 10.00.5827 It seems clear that Service Pack 2 servicing has been discontinued. So there is even less reason to hold onto those old builds, and every reason to upgrade to Service Pack 3 . • After upgrading to 12.10 usb drives fail to mount

  Following upgrade to 12.10, my usb drives - both pen drives and a usb hard drive - fail to mount with the error message: Unable to mount *name of drive* volume Adding read ACL for uid 1000 to '/media/*my home file name*' failed: Operation not supported This is on a desktop Dell Inspiron 530. I also have a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 netbook which I also upgraded to 12.10 (slightly smaller installation on a flash hard drive). all devices mount automatically without problems on this computer.

• New SQL Server 2012 per core licensing – Thank you Microsoft

  Many of us have probably seen the new SQL Server 2012 per core licensing, with Enterprise Edition at $6,874 per core super ceding the $27,495 per socket of SQL Server 2008 R2 (discounted to $19,188 for 4-way and $23,370 for 2-way in TPC benchmark reports) with Software Assurance at $6,874 per processor? Datacenter was $57,498 per processor, so the new per-core licensing puts 2012 EE on par with 2008R2 DC, at 8-cores per socket.
