  • Storyboard changing controller (modal) not working

    - by BrandNew
I have problem with navigation between ViewControllers: here is my storyboard: http://postimg.org/image/dar9pkuvl/ The navigation between controllers in green rectangle works fine, I add to controller number 1 controller number 2 (by addtosubview) and then controllers number 3,4,5 to UIScrollView in controller number 2 ( controller number 2 contain scrollview). Everything work fine but if I click Send buttn on controller 4 nothing happens (It is strange because I was added connection between button and controller in the same way like between controllers 7 and 8). I know it is little bit confusing described, but I hope that someone tell me where is problem. Thanks

  • Changing BeginTime stops animation

    - by SaphuA
    Hi, I have a storyboard as a resource in a rectangle with a simple doubleAnimation. <Storyboard x:Name="EffectStoryboard"> <DoubleAnimation From="0" To="500" Storyboard.TargetName="WaveEffect" Storyboard.TargetProperty="Val0" RepeatBehavior="Forever" Duration="01:00:00" /> </Storyboard> I start the storyboard in the loaded event of the rectangle: private void Rectangle_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { Rectangle rectangle = sender as Rectangle; if (rectangle != null) { Storyboard storyboard = rectangle.Resources["EffectStoryboard"] as Storyboard; //DoubleAnimation doubleAnimation = storyboard.Children[0] as DoubleAnimation; //if (doubleAnimation != null) //{ // doubleAnimation.BeginTime = new TimeSpan(0, random.Next(0, 60), random.Next(0, 60)); //} storyboard.Begin(); } } The problem is that when I uncomment the commented code, the animation won't start anymore. Even when I use non-random values in the timespan. Why?

  • Dismiss Popover using Unwind Segue in Xcode Storyboard

    - by AlexR
I am using Xcode 4.5 and the new iOS 6 feature to unwind segues. I am presenting a navigation view controller inside a popover which is presented programmatically from a bar button item: - (IBAction)configChartTapped:(id)sender { if (self.popover.isPopoverVisible) { [self.popover dismissPopoverAnimated:YES]; } else { UINavigationController *chartConfigNavigationController = [self.storyboard instantiateViewControllerWithIdentifier:@"GrowthChartNavigationController"]; ConfigChartTypeViewController *configChartTypeViewController = (ConfigChartTypeViewController*) chartConfigNavigationController.topViewController; self.popover = [[UIPopoverController alloc]initWithContentViewController:chartConfigNavigationController]; self.popover.popoverContentSize = CGSizeMake(320, 500); self.popover.delegate = self; [self.popover presentPopoverFromBarButtonItem:sender permittedArrowDirections:UIPopoverArrowDirectionAny animated:YES]; } } Next to this method I have defined a target to unwind the segue (i.e. dismissing the popover)... - (IBAction)cancelConfig:(UIStoryboardSegue *)segue { // } ... and connected it to a cancel button in the navigation view controllers's navigation bar. Connecting the cancel bar button to the cancelConfig button worked fine in Xcode. However, when running the code, nothing happens when clicking on the Cancel button despite Xcode 4.5 should be supporting dismissing popovers when unwinding segues (according to the release docs). What did I miss? Thank you!

  • Restore and preserve UIViewController pushed from UINavigationController, no storyboard

    - by user2908112
I try to restore a simple UIViewController that I pushed from my initial view controller. The first one is preserved, but the second one just disappear when relaunched. I don't use storyboard. I implement the protocol in every view controller and add the restorationIdentifier and restorationClass to each one of them. The second viewController inherit from a third viewController and is initialized from a xib file. I'm not sure if I need to implement the UIViewControllerRestoration to this third since I don't use it directly. My code looks like typically like this: - (id)initWithNibName:(NSString *)nibNameOrNil bundle:(NSBundle *)nibBundleOrNil { self = [super initWithNibName:nibNameOrNil bundle:nibBundleOrNil]; if (self) { // Custom initialization self.restorationIdentifier = @"EditNotificationViewController"; self.restorationClass = [self class]; } return self; } -(void)encodeRestorableStateWithCoder:(NSCoder *)coder { } -(void)decodeRestorableStateWithCoder:(NSCoder *)coder { } +(UIViewController *)viewControllerWithRestorationIdentifierPath:(NSArray *)identifierComponents coder:(NSCoder *)coder { EditNotificationViewController* envc = [[EditNotificationViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"SearchFormViewController" bundle:nil]; return envc; } Should perhaps the navigationController be subclassed so it too can inherit from UIViewControllerRestoration?

  • any online service and/or application to develop a story line for an adventure game?

    - by Gajet
I with a bunch of friend were talking about an adventure game. there will be too many possibilities in the game and the player can pick from wide varity of choices at each stage to do somthing. there will be consequences for each decision and they may or may not end the story. the result would be somthing like (picture from flashforward series S01E17)or if any of you watched hereos season 1 there is also similar time lines represented as strings in isaac mandez workshop. sorry for bad quality examples but right now I can't think of any better one. do you know any website or application which we can use to create the timeline? these features the least required ones: the ability to represent events as boxes. the ability to connect distant events to each other. the ability to move events on a scene freely the ability to expand the scene easily there should be some color options for the lines representing connections between events easily shareing the idea with one another it's much more better to have a WYSIWYG editor easily explore in the large scene of events in the end if you know any application which could let me create a board just like the one in my sample picture and share it whith other freinds it could help us a lot.

  • Story and news-feed ideas for social network games

    - by arpine
I am currently working on a educational and fun 2-in-1 game. As I am not a professional, I need advice on story and news-feed. The goal is simple-get richer, the story is about a worker who is trying to get over his/her financial problems and become rich. During the whole gaming process there is a news-feed (every day there are a couple of fresh news about what is going on). The news are fresh and individual so I need to write about 2000 pieces of news for 2 year gaming, maybe more. The problem is that I am not sure whether repetitive news can interest in this game. What can be done to make the news-making process easier but not boring from the point of view of the player?

  • Conflict When Two Storyboards Sets the Opacity Property?

    - by kennethkryger
Hi, Background: I have a WPF UserControl (MainControl - not shown in code below) that contains another one (called MyControl in the code below). MainControl has it's DataContext set to an object, that has a Project-property. When MainControl loads, the Project-property is always null. The problem: When MainControl loads, I want to fade in the MyControl using a special storyboard (only used this one time (this "specialFadeInStoryboard" changes Opacity-property of MyControl from 0 to 1). When the Project-property is set to a value other than null, I want the MyControl to fade out using the "fadeOutStoryboard" (changes Opacity-property of MyControl to 0) and if it's set to null afterwards I want to fade it in again this time using the "fadeInStoryboard" (changes Opacity-property of MyControl to 1). However, after adding the code for the "specialFadeInStoryboard", the MyControl is never faded out... What am I doing wrong? <local:MyControl Visibility="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource Self}, Path=Opacity, Converter={StaticResource opacityToVisibilityConverter}, Mode=OneWay}"> <local:MyControl.Style> <Style> <Style.Triggers> <EventTrigger RoutedEvent="FrameworkElement.Loaded"> <BeginStoryboard Storyboard="{StaticResource specialFadeInStoryboard}"/> </EventTrigger> <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding Project, Converter={StaticResource nullToBooleanConverter}, Mode=OneWay}" Value="True"> <DataTrigger.EnterActions> <BeginStoryboard Storyboard="{StaticResource fadeOutStoryboard}"/> </DataTrigger.EnterActions> <DataTrigger.ExitActions> <BeginStoryboard Storyboard="{StaticResource fadeInStoryboard}"/> </DataTrigger.ExitActions> </DataTrigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style> </local:MyControl.Style> </local:MyControl>

  • Setting a Visual State from a data bound enum in WPF

    - by firoso
Hey all, I've got a scenario where I want to switch the visiblity of 4 different content controls. The visual states I have set opacity, and collapsed based on each given state (See code.) What I'd like to do is have the visual state bound to a property of my View Model of type Enum. I tried using DataStateBehavior, but it requires true/false, which doesn't work for me. So I tried DataStateSwitchBehavior, which seems to be totally broken for WPF4 from what I could tell. Is there a better way to be doing this? I'm really open to different approaches if need be, but I'd really like to keep this enum in the equation. Edit: The code shouldn't be too important, I just need to know if there's a well known solution to this problem. <UserControl xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" • How to do a Translate Animation for both axis(X, Y) at the same time?

    - by user1235555
    I am doing something like this in my Storyboard method but not able to achieve the desired result. This animation I want to be played after the page is loaded. private void PhoneApplicationPage_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { CreateTranslateAnimation(image1); } private void CreateTranslateAnimation(UIElement source) { Storyboard sb = new Storyboard(); DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames animationFirstX = new DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames(); source.RenderTransform = new CompositeTransform(); Storyboard.SetTargetProperty(animationFirstX, new PropertyPath(CompositeTransform.TranslateXProperty)); Storyboard.SetTarget(animationFirstX, source.RenderTransform); animationFirstX.KeyFrames.Add(new EasingDoubleKeyFrame() { KeyTime = kt1, Value = 20 }); DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames animationFirstY = new DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames(); source.RenderTransform = new CompositeTransform(); Storyboard.SetTargetProperty(animationFirstY, new PropertyPath(CompositeTransform.TranslateYProperty)); Storyboard.SetTarget(animationFirstY, source.RenderTransform); animationFirstY.KeyFrames.Add(new EasingDoubleKeyFrame() { KeyTime = kt1, Value = 30 }); sb.Children.Add(animationFirstX); sb.Children.Add(animationFirstY); sb.Begin(); } Too cut it short... I want to write .cs code equivalent to this code <Storyboard x:Name="Storyboard1"> <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.RenderTransform).(CompositeTransform.TranslateX)" Storyboard.TargetName="image1"> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:0.5" Value="20"/> </DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames> <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.RenderTransform).(CompositeTransform.TranslateY)" Storyboard.TargetName="image1"> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:0.5" Value="30"/> </DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard>

  • Creating a templated silverlight control that has a story board.

    - by Mrt
I'm trying to create a templated silverlight control that has a simple animation (swap a few color properties). An example would be a control that is similar to the 'questions' menu item in stackoverflow. So the consumer of the control can specify the background color and the background color for the mouseover event. I've run into the issue that I can't use template binding for a storyboard animation (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1336689/is-it-possible-to-use-templatebinding-in-a-storyboard-in-silverlight). Whats the best work around to this ? Cheers, MrT

  • Turn Photos and Home Videos into Movies with Windows Live Movie Maker

    - by DigitalGeekery
Are you looking for an easy way to take your digital photos and videos and turn them into a movie or slideshow? Today we’ll take a detailed look at how to do use Windows Live Movie Maker. Installation Windows Live Movie Maker comes bundled as part of the Windows Live Essentials suite (link below). However, you don’t have to install any of the programs you may not want. Take notice of the You’re almost done screen. Before clicking Continue, be sure to uncheck the boxes to set your search provider and homepage. Adding Pictures and Videos Open Windows Live Movie Maker. You can add videos or photos by simply dragging and dropping them onto the storyboard area. You can also click on the storyboard area or on the Add videos and photos button on the Home tab to browse for videos and photos. Windows Live Movie Maker supports most video, image, and audio file types. Select your files and add click Open to add them to Windows Live Movie Maker. By default WLMM doesn’t allow you to add files from network locations…so check out our article on how to add network support to Windows Live MovieMaker if the files you want to add are on a network drive. Layout All of your added clips will appear in the storyboard area on the right, while the currently selected clip will appear in the preview window on the left. You can adjust the size of the two areas by clicking and dragging the dividing line in the middle.    Make the clips on the storyboard bigger or smaller by clicking on the thumbnail size icon. The slider at the lower right adjusts the zoom time scale.   Previewing your Movie At any time, you can playback your movie and preview how it will look in the Preview window by clicking the space bar, or by pushing the play button under the preview window. You can also manually move the preview bar slider across the storyboard to view the clips as the video progresses. Adjusting Clips on the Storyboard You can click and drag clips on the storyboard to change the order in which the photos and videos appear.   Adding Music Nothing brings a movie to life quite like music. Selecting Add music will add your music to the beginning of the movie. Select Add music at the current point to include it in the movie to the current location of your preview bar slider, then browse for your music clip. WLMM supports many common audio files such as WAV, MP3, M4A, WMA, AIFF, and ASF. The music clip will appear above the video / photos clips on the storyboard.   You can change the location of music clips by clicking and dragging them to a different location on the storyboard. Add Titles, Captions, and Credits To add a Title screen to your movie, click the Title button on the Home tab. Type your title directly into the text box on the preview screen. The title will be placed at the location of the preview slider on the storyboard. However, you can change the location by clicking and dragging title to other areas of the storyboard. On the Format tab, there are a handful of text settings. You can change the font, color, size, alignment,  and transparency. The Adjust group allows you to change the background color, edit the text, and set the length of time the Title will appear in the movie.   The Effects group on the Format tab allows you to select an effect for your title screen. By hovering your cursor over each option, you will get a live preview of how each effect will appear in the preview window. Click to apply any of the effects. For captions, select where you want your caption to appear with the preview slider on the storyboard, then click the captions button on the Home tab. Just like the title, you type your caption directly into the text box on the preview screen, and you can make any adjustments by using the Font and Paragraph, Adjust, and Effects groups above. Credits are done the same as titles and captions, except they are automatically placed at the end of the movie.   Transitions Go to the Animation tab on the ribbon to apply transitions. Select a clip from the storyboard and hover over one of the transition to see it in the preview window. Click on the transition to apply it to the clip. You can apply transitions separately to clips or hold down Ctrl button while clicking to select multiple clips to which to apply the same transition. Pan and zoom effects are also located on the Animations tab, but can be applied to photos only. Like transition, you can apply them individually to a clip or hold down Ctrl button while clicking to select multiple clips to which to apply the same pan and zoom effect. Once applied, you can adjust the duration of the transitions and pan and zoom effects. You can also click the dropdown for additional transitions or effects. Visual Effects Similar to Pan and Zoom and Transitions, you can apply a variety of Visual Effects to individual or multiple clips. Editing Video and Music Note: This does not actually edit the original video you imported into your Windows Live Movie Maker project, only how it appears in your WLMM project. There are some very basic editing tools located on the Home tab. The Rotate left and Rotate right button will adjust any clip that may be oriented incorrectly. The Fit to music button will automatically adjust the duration of the photos (if you have any in your project) to fit the length of the music in your movie. Audio mix allows you to change the volume level   You can also do some slightly more advanced editing from the Edit tab. Select the video clip on the storyboard and click the Trim tool to edit or remove portions of a video clip. Next, click and drag the sliders in the preview windows to select the are you wish to keep. For example, the area outside the sliders is the area trimmed from the movie. The area inside is the section that is kept in the movie. You can also adjust the Start and End points manually on the ribbon.   When you are finished, click Save trim. You can also split your video clips. Move the preview slider to the location in the video clip where you’d like to split it, and select Split. Your video will be split into separate sections. Now you can apply different effects or move them to different locations on the storyboard. Editing Music Clips Select the music clip on the storyboard and then the Options tab on the ribbon. You can adjust the music volume by moving the slider right and left.   You can also choose to have your music clip fade in or out at the beginning and end of your movie. From the Fade in and Fade out dropdowns, select None, Slow, Medium, or Fast. To adjust the sound of your audio clips, click on the Edit tab, select the Video volume button, and adjust the slider. Move it all the way to the left to mute any background noise in your video clips.   AutoMovie As you have seen, Windows Live Movie Maker allows you to add effects, transitions, titles, and more. If you don’t want to do any of that stuff yourself, AutoMovie will automatically add title, credits, cross fade transitions between items, pan and zoom effects to photos, and fit your project to the music. Just select the AutoMovie button on the Home tab. You can go from zero to movie in literally a couple minutes.   Uploading to YouTube You can share your video on YouTube directly from Windows Live Movie Maker. Click on the YouTube icon in the Sharing group on the Home tab. You’ll be prompted for your YouTube username and password. Fill in the details about your movie and click Publish. The movie will be converted to WMV before being uploaded to YouTube. As soon as the YouTube conversion is complete, you’re new movie is live and ready to be viewed. Saving your Movie as a Video File Select the icon at the top left, then select Save movie. As you hover your mouse over each of the options, you will see the output display size, aspect ratio, and estimated file size per minute of video. All of these settings will output your movie as a WMV file. (Unfortunately, the only option is to save a movie as a WMV file.) The only difference is how they are encoded based on preset common settings. The Burn to DVD option also outputs a WMV file, but then opens Windows DVD Maker and walks you through the process of creating and burning a DVD.   If you choose the Burn to DVD option, close this window when the WMV file conversion is complete and the Windows DVD Maker will prompt you to begin. When your movie is finished, it’s time to relax and enjoy.   Conclusion Windows Live Movie Maker makes it easy for the average person to quickly churn out nice looking movies and slideshows from there own pictures and videos. However, long time users of previous editions (formerly called Windows Movie Maker) will likely be disappointed by some features missing in Windows Live Movie Maker that existed in earlier editions. • Splitview with multiple detail views using storyboarding. Seen an example/tutorial?

    - by That Guy
I'm trying to track down an example like Apple's MultipleDetailViews sample for UISplitViewController, but using storyboards. Their sample code provides functionality similar to what I'm after, I'm just having trouble getting it to work in my app that uses storyboards. It's driving me nuts! Anyone seen an example/tutorial? This is Apple's non storyboard version: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#samplecode/MultipleDetailViews/Introduction/Intro.html

  • WPF Animation Duration

    - by Allen Ho
I have a storyboard like the following Duration="0:0:1" Completed="DeviceExplorer_Completed" The animation for some reason does not appear to be working linearly. If I change the duration to something like Duration="0:0:0.8" and assign the stroyboard to a MouseEnter event of a button, the animation moves but does not complete for some reason, I move my mouse over the button a few times before it enetually completes... Any ideas why?

  • Silverlight MVVM Confusion: Updating Image Based on State

    - by senfo
    I'm developing a Silverlight application and I'm trying to stick to the MVVM principals, but I'm running into some problems changing the source of an image based on the state of a property in the ViewModel. For all intents and purposes, you can think of the functionality I'm implementing as a play/pause button for an audio app. When in the "Play" mode, IsActive is true in the ViewModel and the "Pause.png" image on the button should be displayed. When paused, IsActive is false in the ViewModel and "Play.png" is displayed on the button. Naturally, there are two additional images to handle when the mouse hovers over the button. I thought I could use a Style Trigger, but apparently they're not supported in Silverlight. I've been reviewing a forum post with a question similar to mine where it's suggested to use the VisualStateManager. While this might help with changing the image for hover/normal states, the part missing (or I'm not understanding) is how this would work with a state set via the view model. The post seems to apply only to events rather than properties of the view model. Having said that, I also haven't successfully completed the normal/hover affects, either. Below is my Silverlight 4 XAML. It should also probably be noted I'm working with MVVM Light. <UserControl x:Class="Foo.Bar.MyUserControl" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" xmlns:i="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Interactivity;assembly=System.Windows.Interactivity" mc:Ignorable="d" d:DesignHeight="100" d:DesignWidth="200"> <UserControl.Resources> <Style x:Key="MyButtonStyle" TargetType="Button"> <Setter Property="IsEnabled" Value="true"/> <Setter Property="IsTabStop" Value="true"/> <Setter Property="Background" Value="#FFA9A9A9"/> <Setter Property="Foreground" Value="#FF000000"/> <Setter Property="MinWidth" Value="5"/> <Setter Property="MinHeight" Value="5"/> <Setter Property="Margin" Value="0"/> <Setter Property="HorizontalAlignment" Value="Left" /> <Setter Property="HorizontalContentAlignment" Value="Center"/> <Setter Property="VerticalAlignment" Value="Top" /> <Setter Property="VerticalContentAlignment" Value="Center"/> <Setter Property="Cursor" Value="Hand"/> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="Button"> <Grid> <Image Source="/Foo.Bar;component/Resources/Icons/Bar/Play.png"> <VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups> <VisualStateGroup x:Name="Active"> <VisualState x:Name="MouseOver"> <Storyboard> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="Source" Storyboard.TargetName="/Foo.Bar;component/Resources/Icons/Bar/Play_Hover.png" /> </Storyboard> </VisualState> </VisualStateGroup> </VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups> </Image> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> </UserControl.Resources> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White"> <Button Style="{StaticResource MyButtonStyle}" Command="{Binding ChangeStatus}" Height="30" Width="30" /> </Grid> </UserControl> What is the proper way to update images on buttons with the state determined by the view model? Update I changed my Button to a ToggleButton hoping I could use the Checked state to differentiate between play/pause. I practically have it, but I ran into one additional problem. I need to account for two states at the same time. For example, Checked Normal/Hover and Unchecked Normal/Hover. Following is my updated XAML: <UserControl x:Class="Foo.Bar.MyUserControl" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" xmlns:i="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Interactivity;assembly=System.Windows.Interactivity" mc:Ignorable="d" d:DesignHeight="100" d:DesignWidth="200"> <UserControl.Resources> <Style x:Key="MyButtonStyle" TargetType="ToggleButton"> <Setter Property="IsEnabled" Value="true"/> <Setter Property="IsTabStop" Value="true"/> <Setter Property="Background" Value="#FFA9A9A9"/> <Setter Property="Foreground" Value="#FF000000"/> <Setter Property="MinWidth" Value="5"/> <Setter Property="MinHeight" Value="5"/> <Setter Property="Margin" Value="0"/> <Setter Property="HorizontalAlignment" Value="Left" /> <Setter Property="HorizontalContentAlignment" Value="Center"/> <Setter Property="VerticalAlignment" Value="Top" /> <Setter Property="VerticalContentAlignment" Value="Center"/> <Setter Property="Cursor" Value="Hand"/> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="ToggleButton"> <Grid> <VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups> <VisualStateGroup x:Name="CommonStates"> <VisualState x:Name="Normal"> <Storyboard> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Visibility)" Storyboard.TargetName="Pause"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> <Visibility>Collapsed</Visibility> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </VisualState> <VisualState x:Name="MouseOver"> <Storyboard> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Visibility)" Storyboard.TargetName="PlayHover"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> <Visibility>Visible</Visibility> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Visibility)" Storyboard.TargetName="Play"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> <Visibility>Collapsed</Visibility> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </VisualState> </VisualStateGroup> <VisualStateGroup x:Name="CheckStates"> <VisualState x:Name="Checked"> <Storyboard> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Visibility)" Storyboard.TargetName="Pause"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> <Visibility>Visible</Visibility> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Visibility)" Storyboard.TargetName="Play"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> <Visibility>Collapsed</Visibility> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Visibility)" Storyboard.TargetName="PlayHover"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> <Visibility>Collapsed</Visibility> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame.Value> </DiscreteObjectKeyFrame> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </VisualState> <VisualState x:Name="Unchecked" /> </VisualStateGroup> </VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups> <Image x:Name="Play" Source="/Foo.Bar;component/Resources/Icons/Bar/Play.png" /> <Image x:Name="Pause" Source="/Foo.Bar;component/Resources/Icons/Bar/Pause.png" Visibility="Collapsed" /> <Image x:Name="PlayHover" Source="/Foo.Bar;component/Resources/Icons/Bar/Play_Hover.png" Visibility="Collapsed" /> <Image x:Name="PauseHover" Source="/Foo.Bar;component/Resources/Icons/Bar/Pause_Hover.png" Visibility="Collapsed" /> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> </UserControl.Resources> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White"> <ToggleButton Style="{StaticResource MyButtonStyle}" IsChecked="{Binding IsPlaying}" Command="{Binding ChangeStatus}" Height="30" Width="30" /> </Grid> </UserControl>

  • UITabViewController hide / make appear a view in code

    - by user3689827
I am using Xcode 5.1.1. I have a UITabViewController and used Storyboard to add 10 views to it. It works great and I get the "more" and table view all for free. I only want to show some of the tabs at the beginning. Once the user logs in with their Google+ account (I actually got that working), then I want the rest of the tabs to appear, since they are content sensitive to the user logging in. I have found: [[[[self.tabBarController tabBar]items]objectAtIndex:3]setEnabled:FALSE]; But I do not want the items just greyed out, I want them removed completely until they log in. Thanks

  • Slide through view controllers but not with the UISwipeGestureRecognizer

    - by JoeyT
Here is my issue, i got 5 view controllers and i can switch between them trough swipe with the UISwipeGestureRecognizer class and xcode's storyboard. So this works, but, i dont like the slide effect. I like to make it in a way so you can exactly slide the view to another by dragging it. For example, like this slider in JS: http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/royal-slider/ Can anyone send me in the right direction? I searched on the internet but i cant find any functions or tutorial on how to do this. Thanks in advance! Edit: Im not looking the scroll view. Because this will result in some white spaces when i have 3 slides vertical for slide 1 and 5 slides vertical for slide 2. Hope u guys can follow me! Edit: This is what i try to accomplish. **

  • Swipe left/right to push next/previous details view

    - by Youssef
I am working on a ios application, using storyboard. I have a simple table view with rows. Each row has a "key" string to identify it. When the user clicks on a row I push the next view "DetailsViewController" and pass the "key" as a parameter in the prepareForSegue method. The data in the second view will change based on the "key" passed. In the "DetailsViewController" I want to add a swipe gesture, when the user swipes right, I want to push the next details view. It will be as if he clicked on the next row in the table view. So to rephrase, the user has 2 ways of switching between items: he can click the item in the table view and the details view will show, he can then go back and select another item. Or he can click on a row, and in the details view he can swipe left and right to see the previous/next item. i added the uigesture recognizer: UISwipeGestureRecognizer *recognizer; recognizer = [[UISwipeGestureRecognizer alloc] initWithTarget:self action:@selector(handleSwipe:)]; [recognizer setDirection:UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirectionRight]; [[self view] addGestureRecognizer:recognizer]; - (void) handleSwipe:(UISwipeGestureRecognizer *) sender { //I want to go to the next item in the tableview } I hope I was clear. Thank you.

  • How do I trigger specific parts of a storyboard in WPF?

    - by George
I have several grids in my window. I have created a storyboard that moves them left by x pixels when a button is clicked. I want to make it so that when the button is clicked again those grids move another x pixels, however I'm unable to find out how to do this as it's not a common task on tutorials. I have tried creating a second storyboard to do this, however that won't work as then the grids will be back at their starting positions. One solution might be to create a third set of keyframes after the first two sets, and somehow pause the animation when it gets there, and resumes it again when the button is clicked, however I'm not sure how to pause a storyboard when it reaches a keyframe. This would also make reversing the grids difficult (using this approach http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/wpf/thread/ac54de71-f750-4940-91a2-231810308727/), as I'd like to make another button make the grids go the other way.

  • WPF Animate and change Opacity of Image in sequence

    - by user1103757
    I have three images, two of these images animate as follow and third image should blink: <Window.Resources> <Storyboard x:Key="AnimateTarget" RepeatBehavior="Forever"> <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames BeginTime="0:0:0" Duration="0:00:03" Storyboard.TargetName="img1" Storyboard.TargetProperty="Y"> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:0" Value="0" /> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:1" Value="200" /> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:2" Value="0" /> </DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames> <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames BeginTime="0:0:2" Duration="0:00:03" Storyboard.TargetName="img2" Storyboard.TargetProperty="x"> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:0" Value="0" /> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:1" Value="200" /> <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:2" Value="0" /> </DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames> <DoubleAnimation BeginTime="0:0:4" Duration="0:0:0.5" Storyboard.TargetProperty="(Image.Opacity)" Storyboard.TargetName="img3" From="1.0" To="0.0" RepeatBehavior="Forever" AutoReverse="True" /> </Storyboard> </Window.Resources> The first two images are animating fine but the third image doesn’t blink, it will do nothing and just stay there as you can see I have used the following code for blinking the third image: <DoubleAnimation BeginTime="0:0:4" Duration="0:0:0.5" Storyboard.TargetProperty="(Image.Opacity)" Storyboard.TargetName="img3" From="1.0" To="0.0" RepeatBehavior="Forever" AutoReverse="True" /> Also this is a code for the third image: <Image Height="65" Name="image1" Stretch="Fill" Width="67" Source="/PicTakeWPF;component/Images/422505_110594629067212_100003500265268_37406_1212153553_n.jpg"> <Image.RenderTransform> <TranslateTransform x:Name="img3"></TranslateTransform> </Image.RenderTransform> </Image> I would appreciate if someone helps me on this Thanks,

  • WPF Style Triggers: can I apply the one style for a variety of Properties?

    - by Matt H.
    It seems like there has to be a way to do this: I am applying an ItemContainerStyle in my Listbox, based on two property triggers. As you can see, I'm using the exact same set of trigger enter/exit actions, simply applied on two different properties. Is there something equivalent to a <Trigger Property="prop1" OR Property="prop2" ??? (Obviously wouldn't look like that, but that probably gets the point across.) <Style x:Key="ListBoxItemStyle" TargetType="ListBoxItem"> <Style.Triggers> <Trigger Property="IsKeyboardFocusWithin" Value="True"> <Trigger.EnterActions> <BeginStoryboard> <Storyboard> <DoubleAnimation Storyboard.TargetProperty="Height" To="50" Duration="0:0:.3"></DoubleAnimation> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </Trigger.EnterActions> <Trigger.ExitActions> <BeginStoryboard> <Storyboard> <DoubleAnimation Storyboard.TargetProperty="Height" To="25" Duration="0:0:.3" /> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </Trigger.ExitActions> </Trigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style> <Style x:Key="ListBoxItemStyle" TargetType="ListBoxItem"> <Style.Triggers> <Trigger Property="IsMouseOver" Value="True"> <Trigger.EnterActions> <BeginStoryboard> <Storyboard> <DoubleAnimation Storyboard.TargetProperty="Height" To="50" Duration="0:0:.3"></DoubleAnimation> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </Trigger.EnterActions> <Trigger.ExitActions> <BeginStoryboard> <Storyboard> <DoubleAnimation Storyboard.TargetProperty="Height" To="25" Duration="0:0:.3" /> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </Trigger.ExitActions> </Trigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style>

  • Can a storyboard access the UserControl that it resides in?

    - by Jeremy
I have a usercontrol, and I want a storyboard inside the user control to fade the user control out. Using Expression Blend, I can create the storyboard and cause it to fade the user control out, but when I run the silverlight application I get an error on FindControl stating that it can't find the control. I'm guessing the find control only searches the children of the parent, but does not look at the parent itself. Is there any way around this?

  • iOS5: Confusion with loadview and init and instance variables

    - by user743550
I'm new to iOS5 and storyboarding. I noticed that if I declare an instance variables inside my viewcontroller .h file and set the values inside my init of .m file of my viewcontroller, whe the view of the viewcontroller is displayed, my instance variables show null inside viewDidLoad. In order for me to get myvariables, I'd need to do [self init] inside viewDidLoad. My questions are: @interface tableViewController : UITableViewController { NSMutableArray *myvariable; } @end @implementation tableViewController -(id)init { myvariable = [[NSMutableArray alloc]initWithObjects:@"Hi2",@"Yo2",@"whatsup2", nil]; } - (void)viewDidLoad { NSLog(@"%@",myvariable); // DISPLAYS NULL [super viewDidLoad]; } Why isn't my variables available in viewdidLoad when I declared and implemented in my .h and .m files? If that's the case, is viewDidLoad or viewWillAppear the common places to load the data for the viewcontroller? It looks like even if you instantiate a viewcontroller, the init function gets called but the viewDidLoad doesn't necessarily have the variables to be displayed. Where's the right place/methods to load the model(data) for my viewcontroller? Thanks in advance
