  • Adobe Air: Is it possible to save files to a network path (osx)

    I was wondering if it would be possible to write a file, not to the local system, but to a connected server or other network path. Would i have to use an external php interface for this or can i entrust this to the AIR framework? I'm pretty sure that AIR has certain security precautions to prevent this. Thanks a bunch! Regards

  • write file in network shared folder with UnauthorizedAccessException?

    hi the win mobile 6 code tries to write files on network shared folder, but always gets UnauthorizedAccessException. I have checked permission and security setting on the folder and the code can read the file but just cant write to it. The code runs under administrator account which has full control over the folder and files. It is in vs 2008 professional with device emulator.Any help please? thanks very much.

    I have seen a few times people using -1 as opposed to 0 when working with neural networks for the input data. How is this better and does it effect any of the mathematics to implement it? Edit: Using feedforward and back prop Edit 2: I gave it a go but the network stopped learning so I assume the maths would have to change somewhere?

Nothing particularly fancy, just something to hold ips and subnets, and do things like print a subnet mask or calculate whether an IP is within a given subnet. Should I roll my own, or is there already a robust library for this?

  • Secondary fallback/failover network on Cisco ASA

    In my network there is a Cisco ASA 55x0 with "inside" interface (network 192.168.79.0/24) and "outside" interface (network 89.x.x.48/29) There is this nat rule: object network NAToutside nat (inside,outside) dynamic interface and the static route route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 89.x.x.49 1 and all ACL rules. Now I have another new outside network by another ISP called "outside2", this network is already natted and the Cisco ASA in in the network 192.168.70.0/24. I would use this network as a fallback one. So I set the nat rule: object network NAToutside2 nat (inside,outside2) dynamic interface and the static route with a different metric route outside2 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.70.1 2 Clearly it doesn't work: when I disconnect the outside ethernet cable no workstation can connect to the Internet throught the outside2 network... What do I need more?

  • XAMPP Redirecting to XAMPP directory on Internal Network

    I installed XAMPP on my desktop. I set up vhosts for about 5 sites and they are all working properly from the desktop itself. The problem arises whenever I try to access these vhosts from my laptop. I changed the hosts file on the laptop to redirect the laptop dev.domain.com requests to the desktop, however, when I try to access these sites from my laptop on the local network, I only receive the XAMPP welcome screen. It seems like when trying to access the vhosts on the desktop from the laptop the vhosts file is ignored as all requests are redirected to the xampp directory. What might I need to adjust to ensure access to the vhosts on the desktop from the laptop?

  • Neural Network Output Grouping 0.5?

    I tried to write a Neural Network system, but even running through simple AND/OR/NOR type problems, the outputs seem to group around 0.5 (for a bias of -1) and 0.7 (for a bias of 1). It doesn't look exactly "wrong"... The 1,1 in the AND pattern does seem higher than the rest and the 0,0 in the OR looks lower, but they are still all grouped so it's debatable. I was wondering a) if there's some obvious mistake I've made or b) if there's any advice for debugging Neural Nets... seeing as you can't always track back exactly where an answer came from...     Hi there: I have a problem uploading file to a network shared folder. I can connect to the folder by using windows authentication in IE. " has been uploaded"; } else{ echo "There was an error uploading the file, please try again!"; } when i ran it , I got an error message read: Warning: move_uploaded_file(\server\images\pic_firefox.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\xxxxxxxxx\uploader.php on line 6 I thought that's because windows authentication doesn't work this way. Is there a way I can upload the file by using username/password? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hi SO community! I searched a while but found nothing that helped me. Is there a way to check whether a drive letter stands for a shared drive/network drive or a local disc in python? I guess there is some windows api function that gives me that info, but I cant find it. Perhaps there is even a method already integrated in python? What I am looking for is something with this or similar behaviour: someMagicMethod("C:\") #outputs True 'is a local drive' someMagicMethod("Z:\") #outputs False 'is a shared drive' That would help me as well: someMagicMethod2() #outputs list of shared drive letters Thanks a lot in advance!

    I would like to build a Connect 4 engine which works using an artificial neural network - just because I'm fascinated by ANNs. I'be created the following draft of the ANN structure. Would it work? And are these connections right (even the cross ones)? Could you help me to draft up an UML class diagram for this ANN? I want to give the board representation to the ANN as its input. And the output should be the move to chose. The learning should later be done using backpropagation and the sigmoid function should be applied. The engine will play against human players. And depending on the result of the game, the weights should be adjusted then.

    I readed few book and acticles about Convolutional neural network, it seem I understand the concept but I don't know how to put it up like in image below: from 28x28 normalized pixel INPUT we get 4 feature map 24x24. but how to get them ? size the INPUT image ? or perform image transformation? but what kind of transformation? or cut up the input image to 4 piece 24x24 by 4 corner? I don't understand the process to me it seem they cut up or resize the image to more smaller at each step. please help thanks.

    I'm trying to determine how to transform my "meaningful input" into data for an Artificial Neural Network and how to turn the output into "meaningful output". The way I can always see of doing it is by convering everything to categories with binary values. For example, rather than outputting age, having a 0-1 for <10, a 0-1 for 10 - 19, etc. Same with the inputs, where I might be using for example, hair colour. Is the only way to turn this into input to have Blonde 0-1, Brown 0-1, etc? Am I missing some entire topic of ANNs? Most of the books and similar I read use theoretical examples.

    Hi All. I am looking for some kind of intelligent (I was thinking AI or Neural network) library that I can feed a list of historical data and this will predict the next sequence of outputs. As an example I would like to feed the library the following figures 1,2,3,4,5 and based on this, it should predict the next sequence is 6,7,8,9,10 etc. The inputs will be a lot more complex and contain much more information.   • ESX hosts lose connectivity with iSCSI SAN LUNs

    I've been experiencing this issue for a couple of months now where my ESX hosts lose connectivity with my iSCSI SAN vmfs volumes. As a results the ESX hosts enter a nonresponsive mode the associated VMs disconnect and the only remedy is to reboot the host. This issue happens randomly . I have escalated this issue with VMWare but I haven't had any solution to the issue yet. I see no errors on my switches and there are no hardware issues as well. My SAN infrastucture is solid and there are 2 paths for every vmfs volume. Did anybody else experienced a similar issue? Themis

    hello, I have a WinXP 32 host (IBM T400) with VWware workstation 7 (7.0.1 build-227600) and some guest OS (Win xp, NT, etc.) I can ping from the host to guest OS and vice versa, but... every other "protocols" do not work at all. No http from host to guest, no CIFS, nothing, nothing, nothing. Windows firewall is turned off, TCP/IP filer is turned off. i re-installed VMware workstation, then the networking started working again, but, after some reboots... it stopped again. Connectivity among guest OS... it works FINE. Can not understand... problems exist just between host and guest. Host-only or NAT... it is the same. Any suggestion?

It seems that setting CoreConnectionPNames.CONNECTION_TIMEOUT = 1 has no effect because send request to different host return successfully with connect timeout 1 which IMHO can't be the case (1ms to setup TCP handshake???)
