  • Failure with LogonUser in MC++

    - by Alikar
After fighting with this for a week I have not really gotten anywhere in why it constantly fails in my code, but not in other examples. My code, which while it compiles, will not log into a user that I know has the correct login information. Where it fails is the following line: wi = gcnew WindowsIdentity(token); It fails here because the token is zero, meaning that it was never set to a user token. Here is my full code: #ifndef UNCAPI_H #define UNCAPI_H #include <windows.h> #pragma once using namespace System; using namespace System::Runtime::InteropServices; using namespace System::Security::Principal; using namespace System::Security::Permissions; namespace UNCAPI { public ref class UNCAccess { public: //bool Logon(String ^_srUsername, String ^_srDomain, String ^_srPassword); [PermissionSetAttribute(SecurityAction::Demand, Name = "FullTrust")] bool Logon(String ^_srUsername, String ^_srDomain, String ^_srPassword) { bool bSuccess = false; token = IntPtr(0); bSuccess = LogonUser(_srUsername, _srDomain, _srPassword, 8, 0, &tokenHandle); if(bSuccess) { wi = gcnew WindowsIdentity(token); wic = wi->Impersonate(); } return bSuccess; } void UNCAccess::Logoff() { if (wic != nullptr ) { wic->Undo(); } CloseHandle((int*)token.ToPointer()); } private: [DllImport("advapi32.dll", SetLastError=true)]//[DllImport("advapi32.DLL", EntryPoint="LogonUserW", SetLastError=true, CharSet=CharSet::Unicode, ExactSpelling=true, CallingConvention=CallingConvention::StdCall)] bool static LogonUser(String ^lpszUsername, String ^lpszDomain, String ^lpszPassword, int dwLogonType, int dwLogonProvider, IntPtr *phToken); [DllImport("KERNEL32.DLL", EntryPoint="CloseHandle", SetLastError=true, CharSet=CharSet::Unicode, ExactSpelling=true, CallingConvention=CallingConvention::StdCall)] bool static CloseHandle(int *handle); IntPtr token; WindowsIdentity ^wi; WindowsImpersonationContext ^wic; };// End of Class UNCAccess }// End of Name Space #endif UNCAPI_H Now using this slightly modified example from Microsoft I was able to get a login and a token: #using <mscorlib.dll> #using <System.dll> using namespace System; using namespace System::Runtime::InteropServices; using namespace System::Security::Principal; using namespace System::Security::Permissions; [assembly:SecurityPermissionAttribute(SecurityAction::RequestMinimum, UnmanagedCode=true)] [assembly:PermissionSetAttribute(SecurityAction::RequestMinimum, Name = "FullTrust")]; [DllImport("advapi32.dll", SetLastError=true)] bool LogonUser(String^ lpszUsername, String^ lpszDomain, String^ lpszPassword, int dwLogonType, int dwLogonProvider, IntPtr* phToken); [DllImport("kernel32.dll", CharSet=System::Runtime::InteropServices::CharSet::Auto)] int FormatMessage(int dwFlags, IntPtr* lpSource, int dwMessageId, int dwLanguageId, String^ lpBuffer, int nSize, IntPtr *Arguments); [DllImport("kernel32.dll", CharSet=CharSet::Auto)] bool CloseHandle(IntPtr handle); [DllImport("advapi32.dll", CharSet=CharSet::Auto, SetLastError=true)] bool DuplicateToken(IntPtr ExistingTokenHandle, int SECURITY_IMPERSONATION_LEVEL, IntPtr* DuplicateTokenHandle); // GetErrorMessage formats and returns an error message // corresponding to the input errorCode. • Is this a good way to manage initializations of COM?

    - by BillyONeal
Hello everyone :) I'm very new to anything involving Component Object Model, and I'm wondering if this method of managing calls to CoInitalize/CoUninitalize makes sense: COM.hpp: #pragma once namespace WindowsAPI { namespace ComponentObjectModel { class COM { COM(); ~COM(); public: static void Setup(); }; }} COM.cpp: #include <Windows.h> #include "COM.hpp" namespace WindowsAPI { namespace ComponentObjectModel { COM::COM() { if (CoInitializeEx(NULL, COINIT_APARTMENTTHREADED) != S_OK) throw std::runtime_error("Couldn't start COM!"); } COM::~COM() { CoUninitialize(); } void COM::Setup() { static COM instance; } }} Then any component that needs COM just calls COM::Setup() and forgets about it. Does this make sense or am I breaking any "rules" of COM?

  • I need my BizTalk map to stop converting xml:lang to ns1:lang

    - by Jeremy Stein
I have a map in BizTalk 2009 that is converting some data into an XML document to be sent on to another system. The target schema includes some elements with xml:lang attributes. BizTalk generates those as ns1:lang. The target system requires that the prefix xml be used. Here is a simplified example to show what BizTalk is doing: sample.xsd <xs:schema targetNamespace="http://example.com/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <xs:import schemaLocation="common.xsd" namespace="http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace" /> <xs:element name="example"> <xs:complexType> <xs:attribute ref="xml:lang" /> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> </xs:schema> common.xsd <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?> <xs:schema xmlns:xml="http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace" targetNamespace="http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <xs:attribute name="lang" type="xs:language" /> </xs:schema> Example of map output <ns0:example xmlns:ns0="http://example.com/" xmlns:ns1="http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace" ns1:lang="en-US" /> Is there some way to convince BizTalk to use the xml prefix?

  • TFS 2008 Build Script

    - by pm_2
In TFS 2008, I am trying to modify a build script (TFSBuild.proj). I get the following warning: The element 'PropertyGroup' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003' has invalid child element 'TeamProject' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003'. Which is correct, The element PropertyGroup does indeed have a child called TeamProject. I’m making an assumption that this is caused because of the following line: <Project DefaultTargets="DesktopBuild" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003" ToolsVersion="3.5"> The Xml Namespace doesn’t appear to exist as far as I can tell, although it looks like a standard one. Please can anyone tell me if this is a standard XML namespace, how or where I can view its contents and whether the warning that I am seeing may be caused by it?

  • VS 2010 Layer Diagram Validation Error is Showing A Dependency That Doesn't Even Exist (AV0001)

    - by Dan
I'm getting the following validation error on my layer diagram Error 65 AV0001 : Invalid Dependency : Weld.Interface.Core(Assembly) -- Weld.Interface(Namespace) Layers: Application Framework Core, Application Framework | Dependencies: Namespace Reference D:\Projects\Windows Projects\Weld\Weld\ModelingProject1\Weld.layerdiagram 0 0 ModelingProject1 Weld.Interface.Core: This assembly and namespace does not have a reference to Weld.Interface and only references .NET Framework classes Weld.Interface: This assembly and namespace does not have a reference to Weld.Interface There is no dependancy between these two layers in the dependency diagram. I am confused why I am getting this error. No dependency in the project or code, and no dependency is even setup in the layer diagram. Somehow the Validation logic in the layer diagram is seeing a non existant dependency and saying it is an error. Any ideas what either I might have missed or what is causing this problem?

  • No persister for: <ClassName> issue with Fluent NHibernate

I wanted to create a simple program which will set a pattern for my bigger project but it is taking quite a lot of time than expected. It would be rally helpful if you can explain in simple terms on any template/pattern that i can use to get fluent nHibernate working. The above code uses auto mapping, which i tried after i tried with fluent mapping.

  • How to deal with presence or not of xml namespaces using xslt.

    - by Mycol
I have some XML/TEI documents, and i'm writing an XSLT 2.0 to extract their content. Almost all TEI documents has no namespace, but one has the default namespace (xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"). So all documents has the same aspect, with unqulified tags like <TEI> or <teiHeader>, but if I try to extract the content, all works with "non-namespaced-documents", but nothing (of course) is extracted from the namespaced-document. So i used the attribute xpath-default-namespace="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" and now (of course) the only document working is the namespaced one. I can't edit documents at all, so what I'm asking is if there's a way to change dynamically the xpath-default-namespace in order to make work xpaths like //teiHeader both with namespaced and non-namespaced documents

  • InvalidOperationException When XML Serializing Inherited Class

    - by Nick
I am having an issue serializing a c# class to an XML file that has a base class... here is a simple example: namespace Domain { [Serializable] public class ClassA { public virtual int MyProperty { get; set; } } } namespace Derived { public class ClassA : Domain.ClassA { public override int MyProperty { get { return 1; } set { /* Do Nothing */ } } } } When I attempt to serialize an instance of Derived.ClassA, I receive the following exception: InvalidOperationException(Types 'Domain.ClassA' and 'Derived.ClassA' both use the XML type name 'ClassA', from the namespace ". Use XML attributes to specify a unique XML name and/or namespace for the type.) The problem is that I want to create a single base class that simply defines the structure of the XML file, and then allow anyone else to derive from that class to insert business rules, but that the formatting will come through from the base. Is this possible, and if so, how do I attribute the base class to allow this?

  • Template class giving linker error ...

    - by Atul
Hi, I am having a template class which is exposed, in which I added a method. This class is in namespace A. Now, I am calling this method in another namespace (say B). Initially, compiler gave me linker error saying "unresolved external symbol" for this particular method. However, if I call this method inside the same namespace (that is A), it links well. After that, it links well in namespace B as well. Why could this be happening ? Does this has something to do with the creating Template object of my class ? Atul

  • When should clojure keywords be in namespaces?

    - by Rob
In clojure, keywords evaluate to themselves, e.g.: >>:test :test They don't take any parameters, and they aren't bound to anything. Why then, would we need to qualify keywords in a namespace? I know that creating isa hierachies using derive requires namespace qualified keywords. Are there any other cases where there is a clear need for keywords to be in a namespace?

I can bind to an attached property using new SortDescription("(Grid.Row)", ListSortDirection.Descending) but here I can't set a namespace anywhere... Best Regards, Jesper

  • Adding an ADO.NET Entity Data Model throws build errors

    - by user3726262
I am using Visual Studio 2013 express. I create a new project and then I add a database to that project. But, when I add an ADO.NET Entity Framework model to that project and then run the program, I get the following four build errors listed below. To try to remedy this myself, I added the namespaces 'System.Data.Entity' and 'System.Data.Entity.Design', but that didn't help. Also, I uninstalled and re-installed the Nuget package. I also uninstalled and re-installed Visual Studio 2013 Express for Windows Desktop. But these measures didn't help the situation either. Please note that I used to use the Entity Data model just fine. But it was around the time that I did a system restore on my computer, and when I updated VS 2013 with an update offered on the start page, and finally, when I signed up for MS Azure, that I started running into the problem described above. Now I would think that uninstalling and reinstalling Visual Studio 2013, and then installing the 'Nuget' Package would solve all problems. What am I missing here? The errors mentioned above are: Error 1 The type or namespace name 'Infrastructure' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Data.Entity' (are you missing an assembly reference?) C:\Users\John\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\Riches\Riches\RichesModel.Context.cs 14 30 DataLayer Error 2 The type or namespace name 'DbContext' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) • Picking Up Repositories With Structuremap

    - by alphadogg
I am not sure how to use StructureMap to scan for all repositories in a particular namespace. Most repositories take the form: namespace CPOP.Infrastructure.Repositories { public class PatientRepository : LinqRepository<Patient>, IPatientRepository { } } namespace CPOP.Infrastructure.Repositories { public class LinqRepository<T> : Repository<T>, ILinqRepository<T> { } } namespace CPOP.Domain.Contracts.Repositories { public interface IPatientRepository : ILinqRepository<Patient> { } } I tried: x.Scan(scanner => { scanner.Assembly(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly()); scanner.ConnectImplementationsToTypesClosing(typeof(ILinqRepository<>)); }) But, it only picks up the LinqRepository class. What's the best way to pick up the various repositories I'll be dumping in there?

  • What is the proper way to declare a specialization of a template for another template type?

    - by Head Geek
The usual definition for a specialization of a template function is something like this: class Foo { [...] }; namespace std { template<> void swap(Foo& left, Foo& right) { [...] } } // namespace std But how do you properly define the specialization when the type it's specialized on is itself a template? Here's what I've got: template <size_t Bits> class fixed { [...] }; namespace std { template<size_t Bits> void swap(fixed<Bits>& left, fixed<Bits>& right) { [...] } } // namespace std Is this the right way to declare swap? It's supposed to be a specialization of the template function std::swap, but I can't tell whether the compiler is seeing it as such, or whether it thinks that it's an overload of it or something.

  • Validating XML with multiple XSDs in Java

    - by Arian
Hello! I want to parse an XML file with Java and validate it in the same step against an XSD schema. An XML file may contain content of several schemas, like this: <outer xmlns="my.outer.namespace" xmlns:x="my.third.namespace"> <foo>hello</foo> <inner xmlns="my.inner.namespace"> <bar x:id="bar">world</bar> </inner> </outer> Given a namespace the corresponding xsd file can be provided, but the used namespaces are unknown before parsing. If a schema defines default values for attributes, I also want to know that somehow. I was able to validate a file if the schemas are known, I was able to parse a file without validation and I implemented a LSResourceResolver. However, I can't get all of it working together. How do I have to set up my (SAX) parser?

  • Class library reference problem

    - by Anindya Chatterjee
I am building a class library and using its default namespace as "System". There suppose I am creating a generic data structure say PriorityQueue and putting it under System.Collections.Generic namespace. Now when I am referencing that library from another project, I can't see PriorityQueue under "System.Collections.Generic" namespace anymore. Though the library is referenced in that project I can not access any of the classes in it. My question was mscorlib and System.dll share similar namespaces, but still classes from both the assembly is accessible, but why can't mine? If I put a public class under System.Collections.Generic namespace in my class library and refer that library in a project and use a statement like "using System.Collections.Generic", still why I can't access my class there? This was an experimentation I did, I know using System namespace is not encouraged in custom class library, but I want to know the reason behind why I can't access my class in this special case? Please someone shed some light on it. PS: Last time I asked similar question but put it wrongly, so people got misunderstood and I didn't get my answer. This time I am trying to put it correctly as far as I can. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Would you recommend me with going with xDocklet. Is there any alternative for it? Is it one of the best way, as hbm's does get generated automatically. Any suggestions on the way how my Java Objects should get persisted in the DB? Any good tutorials over xDocklet Maven and Hibernate. I am using xDocklet to generate HBM's automatically by annotating my POJO's.

  • friend declaration block an external function access to the private section of a class

  • PHP namespaces and using the \ prefix in declaration

    - by Jason McCreary
The following throws an error stating Exception can no be redeclared. namespace \NYTD\ReadingListBackend; class Exception extends \Exception { } However, removing the \ prefix in the namespace declaration does not: namespace NYTD\ReadingListBackend; I recently adopted PHP namespaces. My understanding is that namespaces prefixed with \ are a fully qualified name. So why can't I use the prefix in the namespace declaration? I can when referencing (e.g. new \NYTD\ReadingListBackend\Exception). Would appreciate a full explanation as I couldn't find anything in the docs.

But for some reason this doesn't work with for example view helpers. I still have to register a separate path for my view helpers even though view helper scripts are named according to Zend coding standards and are located in: Cms/View/Helper/ And this is how I register helper path in config file: view' => array( 'charset' => 'UTF-8', 'doctype' => 'XHTML1_TRANSITIONAL', 'helperPath' => array( 'Cms_View_Helper_' => 'Cms/View/Helper' ) ), So - I'm not sure why I have to register "Cms" namespace twice first through 'autoloaderNamespaces' and then through View "helperPath"? Shouldn't Cms namespace include Cms/View/Helper namespace? can someone plz clarify this:)

  • Long/compound namespaces when using C++/CLI

    - by biozinc
I'm working on a project where a mixture of C# (95%) and C++/CLI (5%) are used. The namespace naming convention I'm aiming for is the good old Company.Technology.Etc.. This works perfectly fine for C#. Now, can I carry this across to C++ classes? I read here that compound namespaces aren't supported in C++. Am I stuck with the clumsy namespace Company { namespace Technology { namespace Etc { ... } } } in order to stay consistent? Is it worth trying to stay consistent?

  • Partial coverage of a return statement in C++/CLI

    - by brickner
I have C++/CLI code and I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite Code Coverage. The code header: // Library.h #pragma once #include <string> using namespace System; namespace Library { public ref class MyClass { public: static void MyFoo(); static std::string Foo(); }; } The code implementation: #include "Library.h" using namespace Library; using namespace System; void MyClass::MyFoo() { Foo(); } std::string MyClass::Foo() { return std::string(); } I have a C# unit test, that calls MyClass.MyFoo(): [TestMethod] public void TestMethod1() { Library.MyClass.MyFoo(); } For some reason, I don't get a full code coverage for MyClass. The Foo() method has 3 uncovered blocks and 5 covered blocks. The closing curly brackets (}) are marked in orange - partially covered. I have no idea why is it partially covered instead of fully covered, and this is my question.
