• MaxReceivedMessageSize adjusted, but still getting the QuotaExceedException with WCF

  Hey guys, First of all, i have read the "millions" of post on this site and some blogs/forum post on other websites, and no answer is solving my problem. I'm my app, there's a possibility to import a txt or csv file with data. In the case of the error, the file contains 444 rows (file is 14,5 kB). When i try to send it to the server to process it, i get an QuotaExceedException, telling me to increase MaxReceivedMessageSize. So i changed it to a much higher value, but i'm still getting the same exception. I'm using the same exact items for client and server in system.servicemodel in my config file.   I have the following function that I am using to remove the characters \04 and nulls from my xmlString but I can't find what do I need to change to avoid removing the \ from my ending tags. • How to debug EXC_BAD_ACCESS that occurs only on release target for an iPhone app?

  I'm developing an iPhone application. I have an EXC_BAD_ACCESS that occurs only in the release target; when I build the debug target the exception does not occur. However, when I set the NSZombieEnabled environment variable to YES, I still get the EXC_BAD_ACCESS with no further information. Is it even possible for NSZombieEnabled to work when executing the release target? I don't see why not, since gdb is running in both cases... What makes this extra annoying is that if I have additional elements at the same level, xsd.exe binds them as "Item1", "Item2", etc. Does anyone know if it's possible to not have xsd.exe name my choice elements as "Item", and instead be able to put in my own property names?

  Hi all: I've found a similar question on SO, however, that seems not exactly what I wanna achieve: Say, this is a sample XML file: <root> <item> <id isInStock="true">10001</id> <category>Loose Balloon</category> </item> <item> <id isInStock="true">10001</id> <category>Bouquet Balloon</category> </item> <item> <id isInStock="true">10001</id> <category>Loose Balloon</category> </item> </root> If I wanna get a "filtered" subset of the item elements from this XML, how could I use an XPath expression to directly address that? XPathExpression expr = xpath.compile("/root/item/category/text()"); I now know this would evaluate to be the collection of all the TextContent from the categories, however, that means I have to use a collection to store the values, then iterate, then go back to grab other related info such as the item id again. Another question is : how could I refer to the parent node properly? Say, this xpath expression would get me the collection of all the id nodes, right? But what I want is the collection of item nodes: XPathExpression expr = xpath.compile("/root/item/id[@isInStock='true']"); I know I should use the "parent" axis to refer to that, but I just cannot make it right... Is there a better way of doing this sort of thing? Learning the w3cschools tutorials now... Sorry I am new to XPath in Java, and thanks a lot in advance.

When the document loads, the <div #confirmation> is deleted from the markup! I had a similar issue earlier, but I cannot use that solution here. On this page I can have multiple PopUp divs. When I added the initialization in just before opening it; the form popped up. But after I close it, the div is removed; so I am not able to see the popup again.

• DDMS plugin not loading GPX files

  I am unable to load a GPX file in the DDMS eclipse plugin. When specifying a GPX file, no points are added to the emulator control list. I have tried adding KML files as well, generated in Google earth. Is there a way to get these files to work? This is working great however when i try to do things with the first x number of items it is doing it on the x number of items in each group rather than across the whole set of results. • Multiple SSL Certificates Running on Mac OS X 10.6

  I have been running into walls with this for a while, so I posted at stackoverflow, and I was pointed over here... I am attempting to setup multiple IP addresses on Snow Leopard so that I can develop with SSL certificates. I am running XAMPP - I don't know if that is the problem, but I guess I would run into the same problems, considering the built in apache is turned off. So first up I looked into starting up the IPs on start up. I got up an running with a new StartupItem that runs correctly, because I can ping the ip address: ping 127.0.0.2 ping 127.0.0.1 And both of them work. So now I have IP addresses, which as you may know are not standard on OSx. I edited the /etc/hosts file to include the new sites too: 127.0.0.1 site1.local 127.0.0.2 site2.local I had already changed the httpd.conf to use the httpd-vhosts.conf - because I had a few sites running on the one IP address. I have edited the vhosts file so a site looks like this: <VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80> DocumentRoot "/Users/jim/Documents/Projects/site1/web" ServerName site1.local <Directory "/Users/jim/Documents/Projects/site1"> Order deny,allow Deny from All Allow from 127.0.0.1 AllowOverride All </Directory> </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:443> DocumentRoot "/Users/jim/Documents/Projects/site1/web" ServerName site1.local SSLEngine On SSLCertificateFile "/Applications/XAMPP/etc/ssl-certs/myssl.crt" SSLCertificateKeyFile "/Applications/XAMPP/etc/ssl-certs/myssl.key" SetEnvIf User-Agent ".*MSIE.*" nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown <Directory "/Users/jim/Documents/Projects/site1"> Order deny,allow Deny from All Allow from 127.0.0.1 AllowOverride All </Directory> </VirtualHost> In the above code, you can change the 1's to 2's and it is the setup for the second site. They do use the same certificate, which is why they are on different IP addresses. I also included the NameVirtualHost information at the top of the file: NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80 NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.2:80 NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1:443 NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.2:443 I can ping site1.local and site2.local. I can use telnet ( telnet site2.local 80 ) to get into both sites. But in Safari I can only get to the first site1.local - navigating to site2.local gives me either the localhost main page (which is included in the vhosts) or gives me a Access forbidden!. I am usure what to do, any suggestions would be awesome.

• jQuery problem with change event and IE8

  There is a bug in jQuery 1.4.2 that makes change event on select-element getting fired twice when using both DOM-event and a jQuery event, and this only on IE7/8.   I think I'm missing something very obvious and its making my brain hurt. class User < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :profile class Profile < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :user belongs_to :team I have a partial that loops through the users and print some basic info, I'm using this partial in my team show page. I had originally written this to return users who's profiles were a member of a team. def show @team = Team.find_by_id(params[:id]) @profiles= Profile.find(:all, :conditions => ['team_id = ?', @team.id]) @users = User.find_by_id(@profiles.user_id) end But quickly realized @profiles was an array, and it looks messy as hell. Stuck as to what my find should look like to select all User who have a profile that is a member of a team.   Hi, I am trying to sort rows of a table, and put them as 'child' elements of a table row I found this: http://code.google.com/p/nestedsortables/ this works with ul li lists, but i want to build it for a table. <table> <thead> <th>tablehead</th> </thead> <tbody> <tr><td>somevalue</td></tr> <tr><td>somevalue2</td></tr> </tbody> </table> so yeah you can use jquery.sortable() and sort the rows, but i want 'somevalue' to be become a child element of 'somevalue2' if you drag 'somevalue' over 'somevalue2' I don't know if it is posible with a table. can anyone help me?
