    I have to following setup on two Win7 machines connected over LAN: UltraVNC Server <---- UltraVNC Viewer Since I'm only interested into connecting always to the same server, I was wondering if it is possible to start the viewer and connect to the server with only one-click. Start Viewer + Connect + Enter Password (three steps) Since I've already figured out that I can automate the last step with the -password argument, I'm down to two steps: Start Viewer + Connect (two steps) How can I tell the UltraVNC viewer to automatically connect?

    Hy Everyone! I have some graphics glich when enable gpu acc. in chrome. If i disable acceleraion it fix the glich but, in full HD most of flash videos frame rate drop above frogs a**, so very slow... :) Any idea, what can i do? I Upload 2 pics from glich. My hardware: CM Hyper TX 3 on AMD A5300 with HD 7480D 6 GB RAM I use official AMD driver from amd.com, Ubuntu 14.04(I upgraded from 12.04, in Ubuntu 12, same glitch with old drivers.) I reinstalld x.org completly and purge all config files, but this didnt resolve the problem.     Every time I boot the microphone is muted. I want it to be unmuted instead. Of course I can do it by 6 easy steps every time: press sound icon in the upper right of the screen. press "Sound settings..." item in the bottom. wait about 10 seconds until a window loads. switch to input tab. uncheck "Mute" checkbox near a microphone icon. close the window. But I want it to be unmuted by default. I guess that in linux world this should be changing 0 to 1 in some line in some configuration file, but I don't really know, where is this line located.

  • Slow Resume After suspend having chrome running with many tabs

    I usually use chrome and Firefox for browsing. I also open many tabs (around 40 in both some times). The problem I have occurs when I resume the PC after having suspended it: It takes from 2 to 5 minutes sometimes to just get back normally. Does this have to do with memory usage not properly resuming? Is it a bug in Chrome/Firefox or Ubuntu itself? Note that I just upgraded from 10.10 to 11.10 and I was having the problem on both releases, which makes me guess that it has to do with Ubuntu not resuming well if some memory-heavy apps were running before the suspend occured.

I know it will take a lot of time for major publishers to get on board but I am more curious about the technical side. What language/database model and framework are modern ad networks built on? Basically I want to build an advertising network that registers views per page and allows publishers to manage the look of their own ads and let's the users interact with the ads. Is there any good information on doing something like this or any framework you can suggest to build on? I know this would get complicated pretty fast so if you have suggestions for ad networks that let you customize them heavily I would be glad to hear your suggestions.

  • Chrome keeps crashing after updates

    I'm a chrome user and an enthusiast but few days ago I made Ubuntu get some updates using Update Manager, then I turned off my notebook and when I restarted it, I tried to start Chrome which after a few seconds turned the screen completely black, and some errors appeared for few seconds and then I got logged off, and had to re-login, and when I opened Chrome again the same thing happened! I've uninstalled it with Synaptic and did complete cleanings before re-installing Chrome but nothing succeeded. Now I can't use either Chromium and Chrome, but Firefox works. It's a very strange thing, never happened to me before and I don't know what to do because I had all my bookmarks syncronized in Chrome! Please help if you can :)

    I've read tons of questions but I can't find the answer to this seemingly obvious issue. I'm moving my WordPress site from domain.com to www.domain.com so that I can use CloudFlare. I did the change in WP and everything works fine, with domain.com redirecting correctly. Do I need to add the www site in GWT (and remove domain.com) or will it keep tracking the website correctly thanks to the redirections?

    Every other application on 14.04 accepts that I have selected US international with dead keys as my keyboard layout option, and accepts text input as it should. Chrome however fails to recognise what keyboard I have set in system settings and blindly uses "US keyboard". Looking for a solution to force Chrome to accept dead key input. AFAIK it used to work, but something has messed up recently with updates to Chrome

    Currently i'm migrating www. prefix from my urls and use htaccess to do the job. Since we have new software and cleaned database some of the old urls doesnt exists anymore. Therefore some requests redirect to 404 page. 1. www.domain.com/old-page # htaccess redirect to non-www url, 301 2. domain.com/old-page # page does not exists, 404 Does this method have any SEO issues, or even affect pagerank? Or should i check the page existence before redirecting and show 404 without redirect?

What is the best way to make the old dirty ones disappear from search results and keep the clean ones? Is blocking profile.php with robots.txt enough?

That domain is strictly chosen by marketing. What happens is that my company is stabilished in Brazil and our domain here is .br. The .re domain stands for an island near France so haves nothing to do with my country. If that domain is chosen what it can imply about SEO questions?     SQL Server can be connected from local system but can not be connected from remote system in the network. The error code is 40 from Visual Studio and 1326 when I try to connect to SQL Server from Management Studio. Firewall isn't the problem TCP/IP connection is enabled from SQL Server There are 2 pc terminals that can connect to the SQL Server but the 3th one cannot and using the same connection strings so the connection string is right It is SQL server 2000 any help will be appreciated thanks
