  I've got something like this in a TreeView: <DataTemplate x:Key="myTemplate"> <StackPanel MouseDown="OnItemMouseDown"> ... </StackPanel> </DataTemplate> Using this I get the mouse down events if I click on items in the stack panel. However... there seems to be another item behind the stack panel that is the TreeViewItem - it's very hard to hit, but not impossible, and that's when the problems start to occur. I had a go at handling PreviewMouseDown on TreeViewItem, however that seems to require e.Handled = false otherwise standard tree view behaviour stops working. Ok, Here's the source code...   This works fine, and correctly inserts non-breaking spaces into the string: <TextBlock Text="Non&#160;Breaking&#160;Text&#160;Here"></TextBlock> But what I really need is to replace spaces with non-breaking spaces during data binding. So I wrote a simple value converter that replaces spaces with "&#160;". It does indeed replace spaces with "&#160;" but "&#160;" is displayed literally instead of showing as a non-breaking space. • Combine config-paramters with parameters passed from commanline

  I have created a SSIS-package that imports a file into a table (simple enough). I have some variables, a few set in a config-file such as server, database, importfolder. at runtime I want to pass the filename. This is done through a stored procedure using dtexec. When setting the paramters throught the configfile it works fine also when setting all parameters in the procedure and passing them with the \Set statement (se below). when I try to combine the config-version with settings parameters on the fly I get an error refering to the config-files path that was set at design time. Has anybody come across this and found a solution for it? I have declared SelectOption in my viewmodel. This is of type string and I have intialized this string value in my view model as below: SelectedOption = Options[Options.Enter_Value].ToString(); 2. I want if user selects Options.Enter_Value from the combo box , the combo box becomes editable and user can enter the numeric value in it. If user selects the second option Options.Select_Value then a dialog is poped up which allows user to select the predifined values. And the combo box becomes read only and shows the selected value.   I am very new to WPF and needed some pointers as to why this is not working correctly. I am trying to make a maximize button that will change to a restore button when clicked.   I have a UserControl with a templated grouped listbox with expanders and only want one expander open at any time. I have browsed through the site but haven't found anything except binding the IsExpanded to IsSelected which isn't quite what I want. I am trying to put some code in the Expanded event that would loop through Expanders and close all the ones that aren't the expander passed in the Expanded event. I can't seem to figure out how to get at them. I've tried ListBox.Items.Groups but didn't see how to get at them and tried ListBox.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem (or Index) but nothing came back. • WPF combobox loses Aero theme when using a style trigger

  I am using style triggers to change combo box to texbox if it's readonly, but for some reason when I apply the style, it cause the combobox theme to change from Aero to Windows Classic (the theme I currently have in use on my PC). Can I avoid this somehow? • Combobox with collection view itemssource does not update selection box item on changes to the Model

  Hello, Sorry for the earlier lengthy post. Here is my concise (!) description. I bind a collection view to a combobox as a itemsSource and also bind its selectedvalue with a property from my view model. I must keep IsSynchronizedWithCurrentItem="False". I change the source list ofr the view and then refresh the view. The changed (added, removed, edited) items appear correctly in the item list of the combo. But problem is with the selected item. When I change its property which is also the displaymember path of the combo, the changed property value does not reflect back on the selecton box of the combo. If you open the combo dropdown it appears correctly on the item list but not on the selection box. Now if I change the combobox tag to Listbox in my XAML (keeping all attributes as it is) then when selected item's displaymember property value is updated, the changes reflect back on the selected item of the list box . Why this issue? Just FYI: My View Model has properties EmployeeCollectionView and SelectedEmployeeId which are bound to combo as ItemsSource and SelectedValue resp. This VM implements the INotifyPropertyChanged interface. My core employee class (list of which is the source for the EmployeeCollectionView) is simply a Model class without INotifyPropertyChanged. DisplayMemberPath is "Name" property of employee Model class. I change this by some means and expect the combo selection box to update the value. I tried refreshing ther SelectedEmployeeId by setting it 0 (where it correctly selects the dummy "-- Select All --" employee entry from itemsSource) and old selected value back. But no use. The old value takes me back to the old label. Items collection has latest entry though. When I make combobox's IsEditable=True before the view's refresh and after refresh I make IsEditable=False then the things work out correctly! But this is a patch and is unnecessary. • Setting a Visual State from a data bound enum in WPF

  Hey all, I've got a scenario where I want to switch the visiblity of 4 different content controls. The visual states I have set opacity, and collapsed based on each given state (See code.) What I'd like to do is have the visual state bound to a property of my View Model of type Enum. I tried using DataStateBehavior, but it requires true/false, which doesn't work for me. So I tried DataStateSwitchBehavior, which seems to be totally broken for WPF4 from what I could tell. Is there a better way to be doing this? I'm really open to different approaches if need be, but I'd really like to keep this enum in the equation. • UIView drawRect: when you draw a line, the rect area will be clear so the previous drawing is gone

  It is quite hard to tell so I upload an image to show my problem: http://i42.tinypic.com/2eezamo.jpg Basically in drawRect, I will draw the line from touchesMoved as finger touches and I will call "needsDisplayInRect" for redraw. But I found that the first line is done, the second line will clear the rect part, so some previouse drawing is gone.
