  G'day All Most Australian phone numbers are 10 digits with the 1st 2 optional if they're a local area code. For those setting... viewer.dataDetectorTypes = UIDataDetectorTypePhoneNumber; on a web view works. We also have a range of 6 digit phone numbers (usually written xxx xxx or xx xxxx) which aren't being detected in my app. Is there a way to detect those phone numbers as well? Cheers & TIA, Pedro :)

  Trying to solve this problem. I would like to learn how the bootstrapper detects if prerequisites (specifically .NET 3.5) are installed. According to this reference, a way to detect if .NET is installed is to check the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5 Using process monitor, I have inspected registry queries done by the bootstrapper (setup.exe) and it did not show any access to this registry key. Does anybody know how the bootstrapper determines whether the prerequisites are installed on the target system?

  Is it possible to detect all the hotkeys registered by the OS as well as software applications currently running? Any native or managed approach on the Windows platform? I know that the RegisterHotKey function returns false if the hotkey is already registered, but what I am looking for is an approach, method, etc. that will give me a list of registered hotkeys. Looping all possible combinations with RegisterHotKey does not sound like a good idea. Anything more efficient?

  My Flex 3 application has some modal dialogs displayed via the PopUpManager, but there are times when I'd like other view components to know there is popup displayed. The PopUpManager doesn't have any method for actually checking the existence of popups. Is there any other way to detect this in flash/flex without writing my own global manager?   My application goes back and forth between Portrait and Landscape. I have all of my content(labels, uiimageviews, uilabels) lined up to relocate for both orientations. However, the only change when the device is actually rotated. When I cycle between tabs after it has been rotated it just shows up autosized and not the way I have it setup when the user rotates it. How can I detect the orientation of the device and display the view to reflect the orientation when the taps different tabs?

I want to be able to capture a page event, then create a SharePoint task to instruct a user to translate that page to another language (note that MOSS and variations is not an option because the client wants to use the free version of SharePoint). So the customer wants essentially the same WSS site in multiple languages.
