    I want to use Guice 2 with Wicket 1.4. There is a "wicket-guice" package, which uses Guice 1. Can someone give me an example how to configure Wicket to use Guice 2 for injection (with Maven). As you can see blow, I've found a solution, but I wonder, if it would be better to use Guice Servlets and register the whole Wicket Application as a ServletFilter with Guice. But I think this would conflict with wickets object creation strategy.

  • How to access Java servlet running on my PC from outside ?

    I used Netbeans6.7 to write a servlet, when it runs, it opens a browser window with this address : http://localhost:8080/My_App/Test_Servlet, I replaced the "localhost" with my IP address, now it looks like this : http://192.???.1.??:8080/My_App/Test_Servlet, but I tried to access it from another computer outside my home, it can't read anything, I wonder if I need to change Windows Fire Wall setting to allow outside traffic, it's a Paypal IPN app, so I call Paypal, they said they can't access : http://192.???.1.??:8080/My_App/Test_Servlet What on my side should I do to allow traffic from "paypal.com" to access "My_App/Test_Servlet" ?   • Integration testing - Hibernate & DbUnit

    Hi, I'm writing some integrations tests in JUnit. What happens here is that when i run all the tests together in a row (and not separately), the data persisted in the database always changes and the tests find unexpected data (inserted by the previous test) during their execution. I was thinking to use DbUnit, but i wonder if it resets the auto-increment index between each execution or not (because the tests also check the IDs of the persisted entities). Thanks M.

    I am using PHP to access Solr and I wonder one thing. Why should I use Solr PHP client when I can use: $serializedResult = file_get_contents( 'http://localhost:8983/solr/select?q=niklas&wt=phps'); to get the result in arrays and then print them out? I don't really get the difference. Are there any richer features with the PHP client?

    For some reason when I add a HTML module (well the default module added to DNN 5.4) and then add the "AddThis" javascript. While the button shows up clicking on it opens up a new page rather than showing an iframe modal message or on hover a list of popular social media networks to share the page with. Wonder what would be the easiest way to resolve this and why this happens?

    Hi, why does such a instruction as mul $t1, $v0 , 4 evaluates as expected. But mul $t1, 4 , $v0 results in a syntax error! I wonder why the first one works, because mul only works with registers per default, so I expect that only a solution like this will be workin li $t1, 4 # set $t1 = 4 mul $t1, $v0 , $t1 # set $t1 = 4 * n I'm using the SPIM simulator.

    I'm trying to adopt my development from Spring/Maven2/Tomcat -> Grails, and I'm wondering if there's an easy way to manage dependencies in grails separate from maven. Maven does a lot of the magic that grails is doing automatically (unit testing/building/etc.), so I wonder if there's a need for maven at all in grails projects. So, then, how do Grails users generally manage java dependencies? I've become accustomed to central repository dependency management, and I can't turn back at this point.
