    Yesterday i got to know about one more URL shortening service Saf.li. I think there are hundreds of websites offering such service. I always wonder how do such sites earn? After all they need money to host their data and code. We are using dynamic views and I can see other views checked out files using clearcase version tree so I think it should be possible to specify in a config spec. When I check out a file I can see the following information. cleartool lshistory "20100312.133301" "userid" "/vobs/.../.../File.cpp" "/main///CHECKEDOUT" "checkout version" "checkout".

    My current database design uses MyIsam mainly as the storage engine, I wonder if its possible to split some of the tables into MyIsam and some into Innodb in the same database. Reason of switching some of the tables to Innodb is because i need row-based locking which Innodb offers. I am not too sure whether this would have any effect on replication?

  • Bash sourcing of functions in other languages

    This is, perhaps, a silly question, but it's something that I've wondered about: is it possible to, say, define a Ruby/Python/Perl/etc. function in some file and then source it in Bash (to make it available anywhere in the current shell)? At the moment, I "source" scripts/functions in other languages by creating a bash alias that executes that script... But I wonder if it's possible for Bash to interpret those other functions directly? Thanks. :)

Their legal name changed, so naturally their login name and associated identity stuff changed. If they were a team member of mine, I'd like to change the record of their past commits to the project to be consistent with their new name. Is that possible in Mercurial?     Hey Folks, I am currently playing around with CSS3 and trying to achieve a text effect like this (the black blurry inner shadow): But I cannot find a way to create text shadows inside the text. I wonder whether it is still possible because the box-shadow element is able to render shadow inside like this: box-shadow: inset 0px -5px 10px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); Any ideas?
