It must have hit a keyboard shortcut, because a constructor that was designed for a child class appeared on my screen (i.e. it called the parent constructor, so it's not the Insert Code -> Constructor, I don't think). Unfortunately OSX won't let me associate file type with such scripts - it requires its .apps instead. This sort of distinction doesn't seem to exist on other operating systems. What's the simplest way of making such .app, which would merely execute some arbitrary Ruby code?

  I'm using Crystal to display the reports in my project, and I'd like to be able to display a small preview or thumbnail image of the report to the user when he or she is picking a report to display from my UI. Is there any way to produce these thumbnails dynamically from code? The user has the option to add or remove reports by adding or removing them from the reports folder, so just making all the thumbnail images by hand isn't really an option.

  Hi guys, I'm trying to work out an app design in my head and I would like the user to be able to click there destination address on the map of there area. If I know the user is in Liverpool is it possible to pop up the map over liverpool and then allow the user to select on the map where they wanna go, and the google map/api return the street or the name of the area? • MSI not running the current version of the code in .NET Setup project.

  I'm not sure what happened, but my installer is in a weird state--when I install my MSI, it doesn't seem to be running the current version of the code (I'm using Custom Actions). I verified it by placing some MessageBox.Shows and sure enough, they are not popping up. It's possible I may have had a few unsuccessful installs previously which may have put the installer in a bad state...but how do I go about resolving this? Thanks...
