  • LogParser query to grab only external IP addresses from IIS logs?

    I'm working on a public website that is used by both external visitors and internal employees. I'm after the external visitor hits, but I can't think of a good way to filter out the internal IP ranges. Using LogParser, what is the best way to filter IISW3C logs by IP range? This is all I've come up with so far, which can't possibly be the best or most efficient way. WHERE [c-ip] NOT LIKE (10.10.%, 10.11.%) Any help is appreciated.

    I have a Ubuntu Server. From the terminal, how should I install JDK? In this guide it says to use this command: sudo apt-get install sun-java6-bin sun-java6-jre sun-java6-jdk But on Suns website, it says JDK includes the JRE, so why the JRE in the line above? Anybody know how to actually install Java? Every guide and every forum shows different ways of doing it. BTW: It is a VPS (virtual private server) Thanks

  • Trusted Sites via GPO: <*.> gets left off

    As stated in the question title: one of our end users has to make use of a web application which requires her to add the website to trusted sites. By default, this is disabled, but after my colleague added the sites to the GPO pushing these in such form: *.domain.com it shows up as domain.com in her trusted sites. Has anyone encountered or even fixed this issue?

  • Audio problems with Windows 7 running through Bootcamp

    I've been using (and enjoy using) Windows 7 through bootcamp on my mac for some time now. The only problem I've been having is with the audio, I seem to get a low hissing noise which is more prevalent when wearing headphones. Whilst it's not stopping me from using Windows 7 it's something I'd like fixed. I've tried downloading the latest drivers from Realteks website, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

MAMP PRO is an excellent solution, but some guys don't suggest to use it for serving external requests. Could you explain why it is bad (in details if possible) and how to make it secure enough to be a full-scale and not-only-local webserver? Is there a better solution?

  • juniper j2300 console connection?

    I've been given a Juniper Networks J2300 router, but I've never used a juniper device before and no idea where to begin on how to connect to the console of the device. I have a serial to RJ45 cable but not sure on how to connect to the device. Do I use specific software or just use something like minicom (linux hyperterminal alternative)?   • Corosync :: Restarting some resources after Lan connectivity issue

    I am currently looking into corosync to build a two-node cluster. So, I've got it working fine, and it does what I want to do, which is: Lost connectivity between the two nodes gives the first node '10node' both Failover Wan IPs. (aka resources WanCluster100 and WanCluster101 ) '11node' does nothing. He "thinks" he still has his Failover Wan IP. (aka WanCluster101) But it doesn't do this: '11node' should restart the WanCluster101 resource when the connectivity with the other node is back. This is to prevent a condition where node10 simply dies (and thus does not get 11node's Failover Wan IP), resulting in a situation where none of the nodes have 10node's failover IP because 10node is down 11node has "given back" his failover Wan IP.   • Problem with custom 404 page

    Don't know if this question is appropriate here. I created an Alias directed to the root folder of the website (right now running on localhost). In the root folder, I have a custom 404 page, and I've added a .htaccess file in that folder with the "ErrorDocument 404 /404.html" line, but it still doesn't work. I'm pretty new to this stuff (web servers), so I must be missing something obvious. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

  • Configuring Apache with Tomcat and phpmyadmin

    We have a server with Apache 2.4, Tomcat 7 and phpmyadmin, all of them installed by source, no repository. I connected Apache with Tomcat through the jk connector by doing: JkMount /* worker1 and I moved /phpmyadmin in the Apache DocumentRoot, but of course website/phpmyadmin will redirect me to Tomcat, but I dont want that. It works only if I comment out the JKMount line So, how can I configure Apache with Tomcat and phpmyadmin so that /* requests are forwarded to Tomcat and /phpmyadmin directly served by Apache?

I found 1 link but the link is not valid anymore. I asked in a computer shop and they give me media for Office 2007, but not the Professional edition so my key doesn't work on it.   • When and Where does Wubi mount it's virtual disks

    My use of the wubi-new-virtual-disk made Wubi start mounting this new virtual home disk over my /home folder. After the use of the script failed, I am left with Wubi constantly remounting an empty virtual disk over my /home folder. I followed the instructions on the Ubuntu website to revert the change, but the mounting continues. Where did Wubi put the mount operation, and how can I remove it? Thanks in advance!

When I went back to the website and clicked on the form again, it still had the information that I entered.
