    I need a regex or a function in PHP that will validate a string to be a good XML element name. Form w3schools: XML elements must follow these naming rules: Names can contain letters, numbers, and other characters Names cannot start with a number or punctuation character Names cannot start with the letters xml (or XML, or Xml, etc) Names cannot contain spaces I can write a basic regex that will check for rules 1,2 and 4, but it won't account for all punctuation allowed and won't account for 3rd rule \w[\w0-9-]

    Hi All, I have the following strings in my application. /admin/stylesheets/11 /admin/javascripts/11 /contactus what I want to do is to write a regular expression to capture anything other than string starting with 'admin' basically my regex should capture only /contactus by excluding both /admin/stylesheets/11 /admin/javascripts/11 to capture all i wrote /.+/ and i wrote /(admin).+/ which captures everything starts with 'admin'. how can i do the reverse.   • Debugging a Visual Studio 2020 extension or addin, always gives me LoaderLock...

    Title says it all. I'm trying to write an extension for VS2010, but I get this every time: Hit F5 to start debugging A new instance of visual studio starts up I can see a bunch of DLLs loading in the debug host while the new instance is starting It then fails with a "LoaderLock". When I continue after that, the new instance is fully functional, but there's no debugging happening at all. The same happens when creating an addin. Any clues?
