    I have meteor method that does an insert. Im using Regulate.js for form validation. I set the game_id field to Meteor.uuid() to create a unique value that I also route to /game_show/:game_id using iron router. As you can see I'm logging the details of the game, this works fine.     I have used SWIG to bind a set of classes to lua. The problem comes if I want to start monkey patching. e.g. game.GetEnemies1 = game.GetEnemies2 does not work as expected. The behaviour after that line is still consistent with the original GetEnemies1 not GetEnemies2. how do I combat this problem?

    I've this application, where two children are playing catch. One throws and the other catches. While I can show a ball object moving between two stationary objects, how do I show the objects "releasing" and "catching" the ball, in a way that is close to lifelike?     Hi. I'm looking into sentence recognition to make a program that should play voice clips from the game Team Fortress 2. I have .wav files and text files containing the transcription for every sound. What I'd like to make is a system that makes two characters of the game talk to each other (trough playing sound clips), and each one recognises the sense of what the other is saying and tries to answer with another of the available sound clips (trying its best to fit the sense of what it's trying to say) Is that possible in any way?

    I'm working on the networking part of a 2 player game (similar to tetris), and I'm trying to pass the game grid from client to server and vice versa. However, when I tried using send(grid) I get a TypeError: send() argument 1 must be string or read-only buffer, not instance. Is there anyway to circumvent this, or do I have to convert my grid instance into a string and then interpret it from the other side? Thanks in advance!

    I'm trying to make a game in java, but I'm a bit of a newb. The game has images, and when I run the application from eclipse, they all show up fine. But when I export the project as an application, the images don't show up. When I put the application in the same folder as the images, they show up when I run the application, so someone suggested that I just need to put the image files inside my JAR. Can someone tell me how? Thank you

    good day we are developing game for android and have some trouble with resource loading on high dpi devices. our resources are located in res/drawable directory on a standart dpi device the game work properly, but on hdpi (tested on HTC Desire) all resources which located in res/drawable-hdpi load are loaded correctly, but the resources which miss in drawable-hdpi directory but present in res/drawable are ignored but everything works fine on the virtual device with hdpi. does anybody encounter this problem and know how to solve it?

How can I specify that arguments to a combat function must inherit from GameObjectController and implement ICombatant? Or does this indicate that my code is structured poorly? public void ComputeAttackUpdate(ICombatant attacker, AttackType attackType, ICombatant victim) In the above code, I want attacker and victim to inherit from GameObjectController and implement ICombatant. Is this syntactically possible?
