• Radeon Mobility HD 5470 Not Working on Ubuntu 10.10

  I recently bought a new HP DV6-3118SA laptop, but I am having a very discouraging problem with the graphics card. The graphics card is Radeon Mobility HD 5470. It doesn't install by default, but I do get some message suggesting to install the driver. If I install that driver, the next time I reboot, the screen goes blank and that's it! The same happens if I install the proprietary driver (fglrx) from ATI website. Could you please help me with this? • 12.04 making BCM4313 card work with aircrack-ng?

  I'm a real Linux Noob, just started using it (this month) and until now i had no issues. now i'm trying to set-up aircrack-ng on my laptop, but it seems like it's using the worst card possible (or almost) there is a TON of tutorial on this card (seems to be hell to set-up) i have tryed some, but i ended up uninstalling my drivers, messing with my desktops, and ended by having no more "X" to close my windows (i have no clue how i ended there) i just re-installed my linux (took me 2 hours to setup everything again), but now i'm a bit "Scared" to try tutorials randomly again.   This is my problem. I'm using different sql-queries for fetching some people, some come from my database and some come from an external database. They are all sorted in the same "list", only the difference is, that the people who come from our database will have a different lay-out and there will be less of them in a row (eg. 1 in a row), the list of people who come from the external database will be ordered by 3 (in a row). How can i implement this using a repeater? And how would the pagination work? Any "logical", working alternatives will be appreciated also, but i prefer to keep my current workflow to solve this problem. Short: - Multiple datasources - Multiple templates for the different datasources (1 in a row, 3 in a row) - Pagination in this problem?

  In my code I'm attempting to use a transaction using TransactionScope with Entity Framework. While in this transaction we are opening a regular SQL connection to a seperate server and database. When the conn.Open() is called we get an Error: "Network access for Distributed Transaction Manager (MSDTC) has been disabled. Please enable DTC for network access in the security configuration for MSDTC using the Componet Services Administrative tool." However, MSDTC is enabled and running on the Server.

  I'm putting together a simple test database to learn MVC with. I want to add a DateTime field to show when the record was CREATED. ID = int Name = Char DateCreated = (dateTime, DateTime2..?) I have a feeling that this type of DateTime capture can be done automatically - but that's all I have, a feeling. Can it be done? And if so how? While we're on the subject: if I wanted to include another field that captured the DateTime of when the record was LAST UPDATED how would I do that. I'm hoping to not do this manually.   I'm working on a C# windows program with Visual Studio 2008. Usually, I work from school, directly on my usb drive. But when I copy the folder on my hard drive at home, an sql exception is unhandled whenever I try to write to the database. it is unhandled at the conn.Open(); line. here's the exception unhandled Database 'L:\system\project\the_project\the_project\bin\Debug\PatientMonitoringDatabase.mdf' already exists. Choose a different database name. • When using Javascript, is there an Apex built in to get the value of a radio group?

  Friends, My apex page has several different radio groups, each one can have the value of Yes or No. When the user presses a button I need to capture the values of these radio groups in the javascript processing for the page and then "do stuff" dependent on their values.   I've a client testing the full text (example below) search on a new Oracle UCM site. The random text string they chose to test was 'test only'. Which failed; from my testing it seems 'only' is a reserved word, as it is never returned from a full text search (it is returned from metadata searches). I've spent the morning searching oracle.com and found this which seems pretty comprehensive, yet does not have 'only'. So my question is thus, is 'only' a reserved word. Where can I find a complete list of reserved words for Oracle full text search (10g)? Full text search string example; (<ftx>test only</ftx>) Update. I have done some more testing. Seems it ignores words that indicate places or times; only, some, until, when, while, where, there, here, near, that, who, about, this, them. Can anyone confirm this?   How can I perform this query on whatever way: delete from sys.tables where is_ms_shipped = 0 What happened is, I executed a very large query and I forgot to put USE directive on top of it, now I got a zillion tables on my master db, and don't want to delete them one by one. UPDATE: It's a brand new database, so I don't have to care about any previous data, the final result I want to achieve is to reset the master db to factory shipping.

• Applications result affected by another running application.

  This is a follow on from my previous question although this is about something else. I've been having a problem where for some reason my message that I pass from one process to another only displays the first letter, in this case "M". My application is based on a MSDN sample so to make sure I hadn't missed something I create a separate solution, added the MSDN sample (without any changes for my needs) and unsurprisingly it works fine. Now for the weird bit, when I run the MSDN sample running (as in debugging) and have my own application running, the text prints out fine without any problems. The second I run my on its own without the original MSDN sample being open, and it fails to work and only shows an "M". I've looked in the debugger and don't seem to notice anything suspicious (it's a slightly dated picture, I've fixed the data type inconsistency). Can anyone provide a solution for this? I've never encountered anything like this before. To look at my source code it's easier to just look at the link I posted at the top of the question, there's no point in me posting it twice. Thank you for any help.

Though it works fine usually, when user types the queries really fast some random SqlException is thrown.
