    I have a controller that takes in a viewmodel and submitbutton public ActionResult AddLocation(AddLocationViewModel viewModel, string submitButton) My view is bound to the viewmodel. The viewmodel contains a list objects used to create an html table with checkboxes. Is there a way to access the selected "rows" through the viewmodel in my controller? So that I can iterate through and get the selected items? Thanks LDD

    Hello, Suppose we have 3 apps - appMain, app1 and app2. Applications 1 and 2 are protected, they have is_secure: true and everything works fine with sfDoctrineGuard plugin. A behavior I want to achieve is when a user is not authenticated, current application to forward him to another one, say appMain with defined module and action. Is that possible? Or can someone tell me where to dig about security mechanisms in symfony?

    I want to use position (returned from a gridview for e.g.) or a similar numeric integer to do various things, e.g. create a sprite, or in any command that wants something other than a number, e.g. I want to use something like: sprites.add(createSprite(R.drawable.image(position)); , where createSprite creates a sprite using the image supplied, instead of: if (position == 1) {sprites.add(createSprite(R.drawable.image1);} if (position == 2) {sprites.add(createSprite(R.drawable.image2);} ...etc There is an easy solution for strings: Most efficient method to use position to open a .java but what about for situations like this one?

    I'm playing around with URL schemes in my app. I easily made one to open my app, just adding the necessary items to info.plist. This current URL "myappname://" takes the user to the initial view controller, FirstTableViewController, but I was wondering if it would be possible to modify that URL scheme so it I can have one that takes the user to a certain view controller, such as ThirdTableViewController. I would use this as a handy feature in something like Launch Center.

  • Rotating images with PHP reduces quality especially over about 10-20 actions

    I am using this code below to rotate my jpeg images, the problem is that after around 10-20 times of rotating the image the image is dramatically lower quality, especially blue skies and such, my question is how can I keep these images the same high quality image? There must be a way. I mean, i keep the original image on the server for each image uploaded, and I don't do anything to that, so if need be it, I guess I could always come up with some way of using that over whenever possible..   • Drupal Imagecache Actions with ImageField and Node variables

    I am able to add text to onto a imagefield using the imagecache textrender preset action (for a content type). I pull the node title using the following in the imagecache preset text: global $node; return $node->title; However this only works when an image is uploaded when creating new content. If I have an image set as a default for the content type (and none are added when creating the new page) then it won't overlay the node title. I tried just regular text in the preset action field on the default image and it worked. Can anyone help me with this?

The problem is in IE8, I cannot delete checked rows from the table; whereas in other browsers such as FireFox3.6, Opera10, Safari4 and Chrome4, this action is all right. There generation depends on Zend_View, Zend_Layout and is currently already working fine in the web interface. How can I reuse this whole MVC functionality in the command line? Should I add a new controller CommandLineController and call this somehow from the commandline? How can I kick of such a Controller manually, without having a HTTP request?

  • svn copy causes "...(403 Forbidden) in reponse to PROPFIND", other actions work

    Just for a short bit of background, the reason I'm tracking this particular subversion oddity down is because I found it troubleshooting our new Maven setup (specifically the release plugin). release:prepare gives me the same error buried in a stack trace. Executing this command... svn copy http://[server]/svn/tran1/myproject/trunk http://[server]/svn/tran1/myproject/tags/testtag ...gives me the following error: svn: Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to PROPFIND request for '/svn/tran1' I thought this might be an authentication issue, but I'm able to do pretty much every other subversion thing I can think of. Checkout, add, commit and update all work from the command line. And here's where it gets really weird... I can create branches using Eclipse's Subclipse plugin. This might not be all that strange if Eclipse isn't actually doing an svn copy. tran1 also has a sibling subversion repository next to it. The copy command works fine there. The URL it's trying to get permission for also looks wrong. It's asking about /svn/tran1, when the permissions are set up one level deeper /svn/tran1/myproject/ Any ideas what might be causing my error? Thanks.
