  I have a WF which will be hosted on WCF . The service Contract will contain a single operation containing two parameters. Parameter1 will be a string and will contain the name of the workflow to invoke and parameter two will contain the input for the invoked Work Flow. All operations will take the same parameter. All the operations will return the same return value. I have created the service implementation and I would like to depending on the value of parameter1 start executing the appropriate workflow and return the value (There can be number of workflow classes say Operation1, Operation2...which will be the passed in as the value in Parameter1). How can I instantiate different workflow classes and pass parameters and get the return values from them which I should then pass back to the calling Client. (Also Should I be using ReceiveActivities in all of my Launchable WorkFlow Classes ? ) Any code samples or pointers would help

How can this be done in jQuery?

  At work we have a number of databases that we need to do the same operations on. I would like to write 1 SP that would loop over operations and set the database at the beginning of the loop (example to follow). I've tried sp_executesql('USE ' + @db_id) but that only sets the DB for the scope of that stored procedure. I don't really want to loop with hard coded database names because we need to do similar things in many different places and it's tough to remember where things need to change if we add another DB.   Is it possible to a jquery $.get() to call a servlet and use it to both download a file or update the page without reloading the page? (Or more basically, can I download a file without reloading the page?) For example, I am using a servlet that either returns a file to download of mimetype "application/octet-stream", or returns text to be update in the page of type "text/html". • JQuery 1.3.1 doesn't find dynamically generated rows

  I have just installed in the ASP.NET MVC RC2 and with that also using the JQuery 1.3.1 library. Before I was using the 1.2.6 library. Our application works fine under that library. But now I have strange problem. We have a grid view that we build up with the result of an AJAX call. With the result returned we add new rows to a table through cloning a hidden row. The generated HTML from the JQuery is placing extra parameters to the tags. These are in the form of JQuery12345678="null". They all have the same name. In the head of the table there is a checkbox that selects/unselects all the rows of the table. This by iterating through the rows of the table. $("#selectAllCheckbox").click(function() { var checked = this.checked; $("#dgNewTasks tbody tr").find(':input[type="checkbox"]').each(function() { this.checked = checked; }); }); Now by using the new library the check box are no longer set. I have used IE Developer Tools to check the HTML. If I remove the JQuery12345678="null" parameter from my rows. It works fine. Could someone tell me what I have to do?

I would like to center the bottom one, but can't seem to accomplish this. In my code, I call btn4.setVisibility(8); //8 = GONE, which makes my 4th button disappear, but then btn3 ends up filling the entire layout. What I would like it to do instead is center itself within the layout at its correct width / height. I'm a bit new to this, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My problem is, since its a html piece, even if i know the input box's id, i cannot access it using FindControl("ViewTitle") (it will just return null) because its rendered as a text into a Literal control and all the input controls were not added to the container's control collections. I definitely can use Request.Form["ViewTitle"] to access its value, but how can I set its value?

I cannot have fixed size because I dont know the length of the text. If there is no size specified div takes the width of entire window. So, I have the List, and a bunch of numbers that are "associated" with an element in the list. I now want to sort the List elements with the first element having the lowest associated number, and the last having the highest. Once the items are order I can discard the associated number.
