    My MacBook Pro (5,3) works almost completely OOTB (with restricted video and WiFi drivers), but I am experiencing some keyboard weirdness. Specifically to get either (` and ~) or (´ and ¨) I have to press the key twice. Only these two keys behave this way - every other key mapping works.     Hi, everybody! My pc has an Intel DH57JG mainboard, I've installed wine, launching sketchup I receive error that I don't have OpenGL installed, is there a way to configure/install it? On my previous pc with an NVidia video card installing official NVidia driver resolved it. Is there is a way to do the same with the Intel card? Running locate libgl on a terminal returns no results. thanks in advance.

    I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit. I'm trying to get valve's new Linux Steam client running, but having a bit of trouble getting it to detect the right libraries or at least I think that's the issue. I installed the latest 310.19 Nvidia proprietary drivers from geforce.com. Here's the screenshot: I tried uninstalling xserver-xorg-video-nouveau thinking this was the problem but I'm still getting the same error. Any ideas what I can do for Steam to detect the right Nvidia OpenGL libraries?

    I have a few keywords where my website is high ranking(2nd and 3rd result). For instance, I have 3 blog posts covering a certain kind of modem. Is it common for search engines to consider a website popular in a "category"? For instance, if I was the first result for "foobar" with one page, and then added another separate page which mentioned "foobar"(and maybe a link from the original page), would a search engine prioritize this separate page when compared to a completely separate website with a page with the same content?

  • Generating and rendering not point-like particles on GPU

    Specifically I'm talking about particles as seen (for example) in the UE4 dev video here. They're not just points and seem to have a nice shape to them that seems to follow their movement. Is it possible to create these kinds of particles (efficiently) completely on the GPU (perhaps through something like motion? Or is the only (or most efficient) way to just create a small particle texture and render small quads for each particle?
