• PSTN Trunk TDM400P Install on Asterisk / Trixbox

  Hey All, I'm trying to get a TDM400P card with FXO module to connect to our PSTN line. • WordPress not resizing images with Nginx + php-fpm and other issues

  Recently i setup a Ubuntu 12.04 VPS with 512mb/1ghz CPU, Nginx + php-fpm + Varnish + APC + Percona's MySQL server + CloudFlare Pro for our Ubuntu LoCo Team's WordPress blog. The blog get about 3~4k daily hits, use about 180MB and 8~20% CPU. Everything seems to be working insanely fast... page load is really good and is about 16x faster than any of our competitors... but there is one problem. When we upload a image, WordPress don't resize it, so all we can do it insert the full image in the post. If the imagem have, let's say, 30kb, it resize fine... but if the image have 100kb+, it won't... In nginx error logs i see this: upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: 150.162.216.64, server: www.ubuntubrsc.com, request: "POST /wp-admin/async-upload.php HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock:", host: "www.ubuntubrsc.com", referrer: "http://www.ubuntubrsc.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=2668&" It seems to be related with the issue, but i dunno. • How do I deploy building blocks (quick parts) for Microsoft Outlook 2007?

  I want to deploy some building blocks for Microsoft Outlook 2007. Microsoft has put up a poor solution at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA102086531033.aspx#4 that asks you to save a template. That solution would require you to distribute that template to all the clients. An optimal solution would allow you to put the template containing the building blocks somewhere on the network and simply use the ”Workgroup building blocks path” group policy setting for shared paths in Microsoft Office 2007. Sadly, Outlook doesn’t respect that policy. Also, the described solution mentioned in the article above doesn’t work. Step 4 requests you to save the template as a Word Template after first asking you to save it as an Outlook Template. It seems that they copy&pasted the steps from the Word article and forgot to check whether it worked (and adjust the steps accordingly). Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for how to distribute the building blocks without distributing NormalEmail.dotm (which will overwrite the clients’ own building blocks each time it is updated). • Android multiple email attachment using Intent question

  Hi, I've been working on Android program to send email with attachment (image file , audio file , etc) using Intent with (ACTION_SEND) . THe program is working when email has a single attachment. I used Intent.putExtra( android.content.Intent.EXTRA_STREAM, uri) to attach the designated image file to the mail and it is wokring fine , the mail can be delivered through Gmail . However, when I tried to have multiple images attached to the same mail by calling Intent.putExtra( android.content.Intent.EXTRA_STREAM, uri) multiple times, it failed to work. None of the attachment show up in the email . I searched the SDK documentation and Android programming user group about email attachment but cannot find any related info. However, I've discovered that there's another intent constnat ACTION_SEND_MULTIPLE (available since API level 4 ) which might meet my requirement. Based on SDK documentation, it simply states that it deliver multiple data to someone else , it works like ACTION_SEND , excpet the data is multiple. But I still could not figure out the correct usage for this command. I tried to delcare intent with ACTION_SEND_MULTIPLE , then call putExtra(EXTRA_STREAM, uri) multiple times to attach multiple images , but I got the same errnoenous result just like before, none of the attachment show up in the email. • VS 2010 debugger not loading symbols when attaching to NUnit

  (I just posted this in the NUnit discussion group on groups.google.com) Under VS 2008, I would run my tests under NUnit, and, if I needed to debug, I would attach the VS2008 debugger to the running Nunit process (Debug - Attach to Process), and set any breakpoints on code I wanted to examine. When I hit the Run buttion in NUnit, it would hit the breakpoint. (BTW, if it matters, this was running NUnit 2.5.2). I just upgraded to NUnit 2.5.4 and VS 2010. When I set a breakpoint, then attach to NUnit, I get a little warning symbol on the breakpoint dot, and hovering over it gives the tooltip "Breakpoint will not be hit. No symbols are currently loaded". Going to the Debug - Windows - Modules window shows a whole bunch of Windows and NUnit modules loaded, with the Symbol Status of "Skipped loading symbols", and then 1 module with a funny name that changes each time (r1euhmh5 right now), and Symbol Status of "No symbols loaded". (There is no trace of a module with a name remotely like my DLL under test). Right clicking the funny filename (assuming that to be some mapping from my DLL under test), and clicking Load Symbols From - Symbol Path, and navigating to the bin\debug folder, then clicking the pdb file of my DLL under test, I get the message "A matching symbol was not found in this folder". (The top of the Open dialog box has a line that says "Original location: r1euhmh5.pdb") So what's changed? And how do I go about debugging/breakpointing under VS 2010/NUnit 2.5.4 (Or is it possible I screwed something up when I decided to go through my VS2010 options and set some of them to more advanced levels than I knew what I was doing?) I appreciate any help.

  Hi, We are planning a Biztalk 2009 set up in which we have 2 Biztalk Application Servers and 2 DB Servers (DB servers being in an Active/Passive Cluster). All servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2. As part of our application, we will have incoming traffic via the MSMQ, FILE and SOAP adapters. We also have a requirement for High-availability and Load-balancing. Let's say I create two different Biztalk Hosts and assign the FILE receive handler to the first one and the MSMQ receive handler to the second one. I now create two host instances for each of the two hosts (i.e. one for each of my two physical servers). After reviewing the Biztalk Documentation, this is what I know so far: For FILE (Receive), high-availablity and load-balancing will be achieved by Biztalk automatically because I set up a host instance on each of the two servers in the group. MSMQ (Receive) requires Biztalk Host Clustering to ensure high-availability (Host Clustering however requires Windows Failover Clustering to be set up as well). No loading-balancing option is clear here. SOAP (Receive) requires NLB to achieve Load-balancing and High-availability (if one server goes down, NLB will direct traffic to the other). This is where I'm completely puzzled and I desperately need your help: Is it possible to have a Windows Failover Cluster and NLB set up at the same time on the two application servers? If yes, then please tell me how. If no, then please explain to me how anyone is acheiving high-availability and load-balancing for MSMQ and SOAP when their underlying prerequisites are mutually exclusive! • Synchronizing Asynchronous request handlers in Silverlight environment

  For our senior design project my group is making a Silverlight application that utilizes graph theory concepts and stores the data in a database on the back end. We have a situation where we add a link between two nodes in the graph and upon doing so we run analysis to re-categorize our clusters of nodes. The problem is that this re-categorization is quite complex and involves multiple queries and updates to the database so if multiple instances of it run at once it quickly garbles data and breaks (by trying to re-insert already used primary keys). Essentially it's not thread safe, and we're trying to make it safe, and that's where we're failing and need help :). But instead they all seem to be running and conflicting with each other in the verifyClusters method. One solution would be to force our front end calls to be made synchronously. And in fact, when we do that everything works fine, so the code logic isn't broken. But when it's launched our application will be deployed within a business setting and used by internal IT staff (or at least that's the plan) so we'll have the same problem. We can't force all clients to submit data at different times, so we really need to get it synchronized on the back end.   I have two computers running SQL Server 2008 Express: c01 and c02, I setup both for remote connection using windows authentication. Worked fine for c02 but not for c01. This is the error message I'm getting: TITLE: Connect to Server Cannot connect to ACAMP001\SQLEXPRESS. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication. Started the Sql Browser service as a local service Added Windows user to this group: "SQLServerMSSQLUser$c01$SQLEXPRESS" From Management Studio, I added "SQLServerMSSQLUser$c01$SQLEXPRESS" to SQLEXPRESS instance's logins under security folder, and I granted sysadmin permissions to it.   I'm writing a utility to extract the names of header files from JSPs. I have no problem reading the JSPs line by line and finding the lines I need. I am having a problem extracting the specific text needed using regex. After looking at many similar questions I'm hitting a brick wall. An example of the String I'll be matching from within is: <jsp:include page="<%=Pages.getString(\"MY_HEADER\")%>" flush="true"></jsp:include> All I need is MY_HEADER for this example. Any time I have this tag: <%=Pages.getString I need what comes between this: <%=Pages.getString(\" and this: )%> Here is what I have currently (which is not working, I might add) : String currentLine; while ((currentLine = fileReader.readLine()) != null) { Pattern pattern = Pattern.compile("<%=Pages\\.getString\\(\\\\\"([^\\\\]*)"); Matcher matcher = pattern.matcher(currentLine); while(matcher.find()) { System.out.println(matcher.group(1).toString()); }} I need to be able to use the Java RegEx API and regex to extract those header names. Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: Resolved this issue, thankfully. The tricky part was, after being given the right regex, it had to be taken into account that the String I was feeding to the regex was always going to have two " / " characters ( (/"MY_HEADER"/) ) that needed to be escaped in the pattern.   I manage a group of programmers. I do value my employees opinion but lately we've been divided as to which framework to use on web projects. I personally favor MooTools, but some of my team seems to want to migrate to jQuery because it is more widely adopted. That by itself is not enough for me to allow a migration. • Boosting my GA with Neural Networks and/or Reinforcement Learning

  As I have mentioned in previous questions I am writing a maze solving application to help me learn about more theoretical CS subjects, after some trouble I've got a Genetic Algorithm working that can evolve a set of rules (handled by boolean values) in order to find a good solution through a maze. That being said, the GA alone is okay, but I'd like to beef it up with a Neural Network, even though I have no real working knowledge of Neural Networks (no formal theoretical CS education). After doing a bit of reading on the subject I found that a Neural Network could be used to train a genome in order to improve results. Let's say I have a genome (group of genes), such as 1 0 0 1 0 1 0 1 0 1 1 1 0 0... How could I use a Neural Network (I'm assuming MLP?) to train and improve my genome? In addition to this as I know nothing about Neural Networks I've been looking into implementing some form of Reinforcement Learning, using my maze matrix (2 dimensional array), although I'm a bit stuck on what the following algorithm wants from me: (from http://people.revoledu.com/kardi/tutorial/ReinforcementLearning/Q-Learning-Algorithm.htm) 1. Set parameter , and environment reward matrix R 2. Initialize matrix Q as zero matrix 3. For each episode: * Select random initial state * Do while not reach goal state o Select one among all possible actions for the current state o Using this possible action, consider to go to the next state o Get maximum Q value of this next state based on all possible actions o Compute o Set the next state as the current state End Do End For The big problem for me is implementing a reward matrix R and what a Q matrix exactly is, and getting the Q value. I use a multi-dimensional array for my maze and enum states for every move. How would this be used in a Q-Learning algorithm? If someone could help out by explaining what I would need to do to implement the following, preferably in Java although C# would be nice too, possibly with some source code examples it'd be appreciated.

  I have a problem with an Xcode project which has a path of "/users/me/blah" with a lowercase 'u'. When I check my other projects (in the General Tab of the Project Info Window the Path starts with a uppercase "Users". This causes a couple of problems. When I try and add an existing file which is "relative to group" or "Relative to Project" it thinks it needs to change directory all the way to the root. For example the path for any included file ends up as "../../../../Users/me/blah" which then prevents the project working on other peoples machine because the "relative" is essentially an absolute path... sigh. The other side effect is that when you select "Add Existing Files" instead of greying out all of the already included files, it leaves ALL of the files available for selection. Because it thinks files in "Users" are different to "users". I have tried re checking out the project into a different directory but no difference. I am not sure how I ended up with the wrong path in the first instance. No doubt something stupid that I did. Anyone have a clue on how I change the project path or resolve this? thanks

• how to embed pure as3 bitmap assets with flex4 (worked with flex3)

  In Flex3, I could compile pure as3 code and use "embed" tags to load in images. This was done by Flex making a BitmapAsset class. I can still do this in Flex4. However, there was a trick to fakeout flex3 and use my own mx.core.BitmapAsset class to remove some of the extraneous stuff Flex's BitmapAsset brings in with it. This is described here: http://www.ultrashock.com/forums/flex/embed-flex-assets-without-using-flex-123405.html Unfortunately, I cannot get these tricks to work with Flex4 and get smaller file sizes. I end up with the error "VerifyError: Error #1014: Class mx.core::BitmapAsset could not be found." This error leads me to this forum, and a solution as described there: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/message/148762 Following this advice, I add -static-link-runtime-shared-libraries=true, and my swf loads without an error... but this means I am loading in the pieces of the flex framework I wanted to omit (and the file size says so too). Is there a better way to fake out flex4 when it comes to using Embed?

• Websphere 7 simple realm (like tomcat-users.xml)

  I am trying to port a J2EE app from Tomcat to Websphere and I'm not too familiar with Websphere. The only problem I am having is authorization (I use basic-authentication in my web.xml). In Tomcat I use the tomcat-users.xml file to define my users/passwords and to what roles they belong. How do I do this "simply" in Websphere? When deploying the EAR to Websphere it also asks me to map my role from web.xml to a user or group. Do I have to set up some sort of realm? Custom user registry? Thanks. UPDATE: I configured a Standalone custom registry, however I can't get a log-in prompt for username/password. It works just fine in Tomcat, and it doesn't in Websphere. • Dynamically created LinkButton not firing any events

  I'm customising the Group Headers on a Telerik RadGrid by injecting a LinkButton into it during the ItemDataBound event. The button renders perfectly, but I can't get it to hit any event handlers.   QUESTION: I'm drawing a legend on an axes object in matplotlib but the default positioning which claims to place it in a smart place doesn't seem to work. Ideally, I'd like to have the legend be draggable by the user. How can this be done? SOLUTION: Well, I found bits and pieces of the solution scattered among mailing lists. • SQL Server Reporting Services Data Extention

  Hello! So... here's my story: I'm trying to create a SQL server data extension (to be precise, I'm trying to get some sample code to run) (SSRS2005). I've done the following: Placed the extension assembly into the ReportServer/bin folder. Placed the assembly into the Private Assemblies folder. Modified rsreportserver.config in, and added the assembly info to the data section. Modified rssrvpolicy.config, and added a code group for the assembly with Full Trust. Modified RSReportDesigner.config in PrivateAssemblies. Added the assembly to the data and the designer sections, specifying the generic query designer. Modified RSPreviewPolicy.config. Added the assembly with Full Trust. The new Data Source type is available for selection, but when I try to view the dataset I get this error: The data extension DataSet could not be loaded. Check the configuration file RSReportDesigner.config. The location of the assembly is configured properly (I think), because I've added logging code and I can see that the constructor of the Connection object is being called. In fact, I've added logging code to every method of every class in the assembly, and as far as I can tell the failure occurs right after the connection object's constructor is called. Any ideas on how I might proceed to debug this? Thanks alot!

  I've had two previous questions about active record store that all came down to the same thing. Here's what I want: I want to access the session at any time and see who is online right now and access their session variable from anywhere. I need this because: Users are separated into groups. If one person logs in he receives an api token that I receive from some third party site. If a person from the same group logs in he needs to have that same api token in his session. I cannot regenerate new api tokens on a per call basis. I think active record store is a perfect solution for me, however, I have a problem implementing it!!! InvalidAuthenticityToken keeps getting thrown because I used to use the default cookie store.
