    I am getting the following error while sending mail by click of a button in MS access form I am using sendObject to send mail using vba code. The host 'smtp' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop3', Server: 'smtp', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D Points to note: I am able to send and receive mails in my outlook; Problem is only when send mails through VBA access application.(Means it is not a outlook client configuration problem) When i copy paste the Vba application to another PC, i could successfully send emails without any error. (means this is not a vba access application problem) Please help.

    The MSDN documentation for WMPLIB states that syncing to device is not supported in .NET programming, only C++. Is there, however, a simple wrapper class or DLL that can be used to interface between a .NET program and the nescessary C++ code? Or is there a better way to sync files to a device using VB.NET? Are all devices suited/compatible with just a simple filesystem.copyfile ?

  • Adding Parsekit To An Xcode Project

    I am trying to add the Parsekit framework to my OSX Xcode project. I've never added a 3rd party framework before and I can't get it to work right. I dragged the included Xcode project into my 'Groups & Files' pane and chose to Add it to my project. I then dragged Parsekit.framework underneath the Link Binary With Libraries heading. Then I double-clicked my target app and added Parsekit as a Direct Dependency. I also added libicucore.dylib as a Linked Library (as it says to do this on their site). Finally, in the Build settings tab of my target info I set the Header Search Paths to /Users/path/to/include/directory and the Other Linker Flags to -ObjC -all_load. Running this as a debug build work fine with no errors. However, when I build my app to release and then try to run the executable created, the app fails to load with the following error message: MyApp cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure myApp works with this version of Mac OS X.   • Connecting to Python XML RPC from the Mac

    Hi, I wrote an XML RPC server in python and a simple Test Client for it in python. The Server runs on a linux box. I tested it by running the python client on the same linux machine and it works. I then tried to run the python client on a Mac and i get the following error socket.error: (61, 'Connection Refused') I can ping and ssh into the linux machine from the Mac. So i dont think its a configuration or firewall error. Does anyone have any idea what could be going wrong?   • How do I get the entity framework to work with archive flags?

    I'm trying to create a set of tables where we don't actually delete them, but rather we set the archive flags instead. When we delete an entity, it shouldn't be deleted, it should be marked as archived instead. What are the programming patterns to support this? I would also prefer not to have to roll out my own stored procs for every table that have these archive flags if there is another solution.

  • Problem to connect to MySQL server (error #2002) in PHP

    Hello, I installed ZWAMP 1.0.7 (on Windows 7), but I'm having a weird problem. I can't connect to my MySQL server from any PHP script. If I try to use MySQL command line everything works fine but PHPMyAdmin retruns error #2002. I'm not sure whether it's important or not but MySQL server is not able to create socket file. I don't know what's the problem but I think everything is configured in my.cnf properly. Do you have any ideas?

    From what I've read from Herb Sutter and others you would think that volatile and concurrent programming were completely orthogonal concepts, at least as far as C/C++ are concerned. However, in GCC c++0x extension all of std::atomic's member functions have the volatile qualifier. The same is true in Anthony Williams's implementation of std::atomic. So what's deal, do my atomic<> variables need be volatile or not?

I want to use wxPython for my GUI (supports 2.6), but I also want to use 3.1 for the rest of the project (to start using the 3.x syntax). Is there any way for me to design a project that mixes 2.x and 3.x modules? Or should I just bite the bullet and use either 2.x (preferred, since I really want to learn wxPython) or 3.x throughout?
