    I use a dbml for my Data Access Layer to provide the data that i need in my app. When i connect from the server explorer everything seems fine. I choose to use my windows authentication and the connection test shows everything works just fine. When i Build my solution and run it on my IIS it says that i'm using a login that is not working.     I have read this question and I'm still not sure whether it is possible to keep pointers to methods in an array in Java, if anyone knows if this is possible or not it would be a real help. I'm trying to find an elegant solution of keeping a list of Strings and associated functions without writing a mess of hundreds of 'if's. I'm missing namespaces and I can't find the assemblies to add back to my references folder for my C# Project Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Pipeline for example is not one I find in the list of references in the .NET references tab. So how the hell do I get these SQL Server assemblies? Do I have to install the SQL Server 2008 sdk? Lost.

    I'm using Python, for what it's worth, but will accept answers in any applicable language. I've tried writing to /proc/$pid/cmdline, but that's a readonly file. I've tried assigning a new string to sys.argv[0], but that has no perceptible impact. Are there any other possibilities? My program is executing processes via os.system (equivalent to system(3)) so a general, *NIX-based solution using an additional spawning process would be fine.

    i have built jQuery drop-down menu which is having problems floating over the UI header. Flash and everything else is fine, menu has no problem floating over anything except UI headers, i have tried messing with z-index in css files but it seems that jQuery script is over writing all of my css. the JS files are minified so i can not edit them.     I'm looking for a way to determine if a file has been executed or not. I've looked a bit into FileInfo's LastAccessTime but this doesn't seem to change when a file is executed. I've also looked into FileSystemWatcher but this also doesn't seem to offer a solution. Is there such a thing as a file execution listener or is there another way? If it helps, i'm looking to write a folder listener that renames an .avi file within it after it has been watched/executed.

Our attempted solution is to set client read timeouts and come up with a framework for resending requests or otherwise handling those failures gracefully.
