  • ASP.NET Setting Flash file path for Object tag inside a usercontrol

    I have a an ASP.NET user control where i wanto run a flash movie using flashplayer.How can i set the path of flash movie file properly so that this would work in all pages irrespective of the folders. ie; it should work inside a page in FolderA and a page in FolderASub1 which is in FolderA and a page in the Root folder too.My Flash file resides in a Folder called FlashGallery in root.My User control resides in a Subfolder in Root. I am not sure how can use ~ here .Since its(Object tag to play flash) not a server control. And infact i cant place the full relative path too. Anythoughts ?

    Im using c#.net windows form application. I have an xml file that contains nodes. I need to populate a treeview with the nodes present in the xml file. Also avoid repeated node names. For this my idea is while populating the treeview, copy the node names into a list and there see if the node already exits. If it already exits, go to the next node else display it. List listOfNodes = new List(); listOfNodes.Add(xNode.Name.ToString()); //if (!(listOfNodes.Contains(xNode.Name.ToString()))) I was trying with this. but Im unable to do. Please suggest me with a proper code.

  • Information stored in a cookie file

    Thanks for you help in advance. I am trying to figure out the structure of the cookie file, more specifically i want to be able to determine the expiry time. From the cookies i have created they all appear to be in a standard format. Name, Value, website,followed by 5 numbers and a star. See example below. name value www.website.co.uk/ 1536 3041141504 30135951 1632526096 30135949 * Obviously the expiry time is one of the numbers, the question is which one. From experiments I have determined that the first and fifth number don't seem to change. In a case where i generated three cookies at the same time with a 1000 second time difference i noticed that the fourth number appeared to increase by 2000 suggesting that this has a connection with the expiry time. Can anyone confirm if i am heading in the right direction? And does any one know how i convert this to a human time and date(preferably in php but any language would give me a starting point) thanks Jason

  • IE cannot download file with unicode pathname

    I have a web-app that allows users to upload and download image files by pressing buttons on a web page. A user of this page is reporting that IE 7 and 8 fail to download files when the files have Unicode pathnames. IE prompts the user with a dialog stating: "Internet explorer cannot download (file) at (webserver).". Unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce the problem using these versions on my machine. My question is, what could cause this, and how can I prevent it from happening? I have read about problems with cache control (I currently have it set to no-cache); however, I am not using HTTP-S, and the problem only occurs with file-names containing Unicode characters.

    Hello everyone, In my code, all of the scripts are contained in .js files. Whenever one of the scripts contains an error, I get this: javax.script.ScriptException: sun.org.mozilla.javascript.internal.EcmaError: ReferenceError: "nonexistant" is not defined. (<Unknown source>#5) in <Unknown source> at line number 5 What bugs me is the <Unknown Source>. Multiple files are in one ScriptContext, and it can be hard to track down an error. It also looks horrible. Is there a way to replace <Unknown Source> with the actual file name? None of the methods I see support passing a File object, so I'm really confused here.

    Is there any way to exclude/delete/replace one field from a csv file with some regexp in notepad++? I have a csv file with some data like this: '1','data1','data2','data3','data4','data5','data6','data7','data8','data9', 'data10','data11','data12','data13','data14','data15','data16','data17','data18', 'data19','data20','data21','data22','data23','\'data24 with some commas, here and there and some "double quotes", and fullstops.','data25','data26' The only problem I am facing is with data24 WHERE I encounter \' and then "" and some wild characters like , and .. This is particularly fixed at 24 field. For the purpose of clarity, I have entered a newline here. But the entire text above is in juts one line. Any ideas on how to solve? Thanks.

  • Mercurial adding new file gives no match found error

    I have a strange problem with updating Mercurial. Everytime when I add a file to my repository and then update another location of the repository (for example with in CI process), the error "no match found" occures. Then when I remove to whole folder and clone it again there are no problems and the new added file(s) are there. Updating and removing doesnt give problems When I do "a" Verify the following is shown: data/test.txt.i@54: missing revlog! 54: empty or missing test.txt test.txt@54: b80de5d13875 in manifests not found 3 integrity errors encountered! (first damaged changeset appears to be 54) Any idea what could be causing this?

  • Best way to utilise an include file which just includes an array in PHP

    Kohana's config files look like this.. here is an example of a database config file (simplified) return array( 'dbhost' => 'localhost', 'user' => 'Tom_Jones' ); I've also got a CMS which wants the connection details. Whilst the CMS uses a different user (with more rights), I'd like to know the best way to include this file and get the data out of it (so as to not repeat myself for hostname and dbname). I haven't thought up of any elegant solutions yet and have not yet dug around Kohana to see how it does it. It's late Friday here so it's probably really obvious to everyone except me. UPDATE My apologies, I forgot to include that this is using Kohana 3!

  • Git is deleting an ignored file when i switch branches

    I have one branch (let's call it B) that ignores a certain file, which isn't ignored in some other branches (eg branch A). When i switch from branch B to branch A, then back to B again, the file has been deleted. Is this normal? I can sort of see how it would happen, in the sense that branch B thinks it's not there, and branch A thinks that it is, so when i go back to B it 'tidies it away'. But it's kind of annoying.     I want to use Python to make a configuration file generator. My roughly idea is feeding input with template files and some XML files with the real settings. Then use the program to generate the real configuration files. I got several questions: Is there any open source configuration generator program? (what could be the keyword), I wonder if there's anything can be added/modified in the design. Does Python have good XML parser module? Is it good idea to use XML file to save the original settings? I've been thinking to use Excel since it's more intuitive to maintain, but harder for program to parse. Not sure how people deal with this. Hope the community can give me some suggestions.     I need to dynamically load a CSS stylesheet into a page that's on a different domain. How can I get the complete URL of the JS file to use in the href attribute of the stylesheet? For instance, here is the structure: http://bla.com/js/script.js http://bla.com/css/style.css I want to dynamically load the stylesheet into a page http://boo.net/index.html. The problem is, I don't know the bla.com bit in advance, just the fact that the stylesheet is in ../css/ relative to the JS file. The script is, of course, included on index.html. jQuery's fine too.

  • CSV file download ignored in ie8/9

    I have some code in a button click event which gets a csv string from a hidden input and writes it to the response as a CSV file. This work fine in Chrome, Firefox, ie7, ie9 in quirks mode. However it does not work in ie8 or ie9 default. Looking at this in fiddler the csv is being written to the response but the another get request is being made immediately after and the page reloads.
