• xslt help - my transform is not rendering correctly

  Hi All, I'm trying to apply an xlst transformation using the following file. This is very basic, but I wanted to build off of this when I get it working correctly. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" exclude-result-prefixes="msxsl"> <xsl:template match="/"> <div> <h2>Station Inventory</h2> <hr/> <xsl:apply-templates/> </div> </xsl:template> Here is some xml I'm using for the source. <StationInventoryList xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://www.dummy-tmdd-address"> <StationInventory> <station-id>9940</station-id> <station-name>Zone 9940-SEB</station-name> <station-travel-direction>SEB</station-travel-direction> <detector-list> <detector> <detector-id>2910</detector-id> <detector-name>1999 West Smith Exit SEB</detector-name> </detector> <detector> <detector-id>9205</detector-id> <detector-name>CR-155 Exit SEB</detector-name> </detector> <detector> <detector-id>9710</detector-id> <detector-name>Pt of View SEB</detector-name> </detector> </detector-list> </StationInventory> </StationInventoryList> Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? The simple intent here is to make a list of station, then make a list of detectors at a station. This is a small piece of the XML. It would have multiple StationInventory elements. • Using a filename with spaces with scp and chmod in bash.

  Periodically, I like to put files in the /tmp directory of my webserver to share out. What is annoying is that I must set the permissions whenever I scp the files. Following the advice from another question I've written a script which copies the file over, sets the permissions and then prints the URL: #!/bin/bash scp "$1" SERVER:"/var/www/tmp/$1" ssh SERVER chmod 644 "/var/www/tmp/$1" echo "URL is: http://SERVER/tmp/$1" When I replace SERVER with my actual host, everything works as expected...until I execute the script with an argument including spaces. Although I suspect the solution might be to use $@ I've not yet figured out how to get a spaced filename to work.

• Apache mod_rewrite and multiple domains

  Hi, I'm trying to use mod_rewrite to map multiple domains to different servlets on one host. Example: www.dom1.com - 192.168.1.n/dom1 www.dom2.com - 192.168.1.n/dom2 ... I'm using the mod_rewrite and mod_proxy and directive but it seems that the reverse mapping via ProxyPassReverse doesn't work as I expected. ProxyPassReverse /subdomain.domain.com http://192.168.1.n/subdomain doesn't work. I've turned rewrite-logging on with RewriteLog /var/log/rewrite.log From the logs I'd say that rewriting works and the problem seems to be with reverse mapping. However I can't see any Reverse mapping entries. It seems that reverse mapping isn't logged or needs a different command to be activated. (Apache and the servlet container are on different machines but this should not matter I'd think ?)

  I am trying to wrap my head around a URL rewrtie / redirect project I need to work on. We currently have this url: www.domain.com/Details/Detail.aspx?param1=8&param2=12345 Here is what the rewritten URL will look like: www.domain.com/Param1/8/Param2/12345 I am using the ISAPI_Rewrite filter to allow for the "nice" url and make the page think it is still using the old url. That works fine. Now, I need to redirect users, if they use the old URL, to the new URL. I fgiure I would need to use a combination of the filter and an HTTPModule / Handler to perfomr the redirect. Any ideas?

  0 vote down star I am using GridView in asp .net and editing data with edit command field property (as we know after updating the edited row, we automatically update the database), and I want to use transactions (with begin to commit statement - including rollback) to commit this update query in database, after clicking in some button (after some events for example), not automatically to insert or update the edited data from grid directly to the DB...so I want to save them somewhere temporary (even many edited rows - not just one row) and then to confirm the transaction - to update the real tables in database... Any suggestions are welcomed...   We save our xml in a "text" field in the database. So first I check if it exist any xml, if not I create a new xdocument, fill it with the necessary xml. else i just add the new element. I get an error saying incorrectly structured document. • Twitter URL encoding. Getting error when placing UK Currency sign in URL?

  I'm attempting to setup a retweet button with some pre-written post text. However I need to place a pound sign in like so: £50k I've search the web and for the UK currency sign I've been told it is supposed to be replaced with the code: %a3 However when I attempt to click on the link I get the error message: "Invalid Unicode value in one or more parameters" This is the document declaration at the top of the html page I'm using: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

• DOS batch command to read some info from text file

  Hello All, I am trying to read some info from a text file by using windows command line, and save it to a variable just like "set info =1234" Below is the content of the txt file, actually I just need the revision number, and the location of it is always the same line 5, and from column 11 to 15. • How do I create SEO-Friendly urls in ASP.Net-MVC

  I'm getting myself acquainted with ASP.Net-MVC, and I was trying to accomplish some common tasks I've accomplished in the past with webforms and other functionality. On of the most common tasks I need to do is create SEO-friendly urls, which in the past has meant doing some url rewriting to build the querystring into the directory path. for example: www.somesite.com/productid/1234/widget rather than: www.somesite.com?productid=1234&name=widget What method do I use to accomplish this in ASP.Net-MVC? • problem running system.net.webclient and process.start off a control event

  The following code causes my vs 2008 wpf project to hang, I'm not sure why. Both Part 1 and Part 2 work perfectly fine independently, but when I run them together on an control event (click a button for example) the program hangs. I've also tried shell execute for part 2 - same results. However, this code when run within the form loaded event works fine. Any insights would be truly appreciated.
