To be more precise - I have some java code and then at some point I need to execute a long running operation.     Hi all, I'm loading an external video stream in my embedded player. Since it takes a little while to connect and preload you see a black background for +- 7 secs untill video plays . I would like to know if its possible to have a background image saying 'Stand by loading video' with my logo on it before the video starts to play. Only thing i could find was bgcolor parameter but that's not what I want. I hope someone can help me thanks!!

    I am trying to change the background image whenever the document is loaded, and when it hits this point: document.body.style.backgroundImage="url('../images/mobile-bckground.png')"; The page simply makes the background plain white. It is displayed like this in my javascript: $(function() { document.body.style.backgroundImage="url('../images/mobile-bckground.png')"; }); I have verified the image is in the right location, why is it doing this?

    Hi, I am using ui tabs a lot.In my last project i add an icon just before tabs and the tab links start a strange behavior, you can not click to change the tabs if you are above tab name BUT only when you are outside tab name. The problem is that since the background of the iframe could be customized, anyone can "vanish" the "powered by MyWebsite.site". So what option do i have?     Hi All I have a one problem, I have one background image having 1000px height. which i used in body of css having fixed height but on some pages my content height goes incresed more than background image its not look good, so i searched on google and i got a way to solve this issue, then iused a height in body tag, and then i used a slice of bg-below of width="960px" which i used in html tag it works fine in all browser except Internet explorer plese tell me what to do how can i resolve this problem.     Dear Cocoa Developers, I'm creating a backgrounded cocoa application. The only thing that it's missing is the ability to take text inputs! I'm making the application backgrounded by setting "Application is background only" in the Info.plist But no matter what I do I can't make any window the keyWindow. makeKeyWindow makeKeyAndOrderFront Both don't work... I know apps can do this, anyone have any idea how you can get background application to have a key window? Thanks, JPoz

    Here's an example of the type of background image I'm talking about... Clearly, there's a pattern in it. My question is, if this were an iPad app and the background image was twice the size, would there be any significant benefits to taking advantage of this pattern by tiling the image? Or would it really make no difference in terms of performance and just be easier to load the entire image into a UIImageView? Thanks in advance for all your wisdom!

    Hi I am using itextsharp to generate a pdf file.I am placing a backgound image on it and want that image on all the pages .But when the first page is completed the text move to next page automatically so the image is not appearing on the new page. Is there a way to identify the end of page so that we can add a new page and then set the image first so will appear in background and then can add the remaining text. All is i want a image in background on all the pages of pdf file.
