  • HTML include statement

    I'm just trying to do a simple include statement in HTML. I have no clue why its not working. My file setup is basically index.php in the root and then a file called "includes" with a file "header.html" inside. I been sending mail a lot with asp.net before and never had problems like this before. Like on my hotmail on the computer i get the html but on my iphone i get the plain one. Why is that? and like that wasn't enough The mail wont deliver to some mails like any .pl email. Now here is where I am thinking that it might be a reverse DNS setup thing on my windows server 2008 issue + some company mails, it becomes spam, i had same issue with hotmail but that was solved when I added the plain. Anybody have had the problem before? I am very thankful for any answer I get.. thanks

  • Strage character encoding problem with Eclipse / Spring / Tomcat 6

    Hi, I have been trying things all da but can't get a proper solution. My problem is: I am developing a Spring MVC based app in my local Tomcat. My MYSQl database has UTF-8 encoding set, all content in there displays properly when using phpMyAdmin. Also the output in LOG files using log4j in catalina.out works fine. My JSP pages are configured by <!-- encoding --> <%@ page contentType="text/html; charset=UTF-8" %> <%@ page pageEncoding="UTF-8" %> Also showing data on my JSP works fine. I can also send data from my Controller without any DB intereference using special chars, e.g. String str = "UTF-8 Test: Ä Ö Ü ß è é â"; logger.debug(str); mav.addObject("utftest", str); That displays correctly in log and on jsp page in browser. BUT: When having special chars directly in my JSP file, e.g. for text in headers, this does not work. FF and Google Chrome display strange chars but report the page to be UTF-8. When switching to Latin, the chars just get more and more strange. Same problem when showing text tokens from my messages.properties file, although Eclipse says when right-clicking that UTF-8 will be used. I am a little it lost and don't know where to check now. Summary: DB storage is fine DB output on JSP is fine Output on JSP directly form controller is fine even reading in form forms is fine .properties files and JSP text is not fine !!! Any ideas? I really appreciate and tips.

    Hi, I wonder if someone can help shed some light on this: I drop a cookie if a user arrives to the site with a specific key/value in query string. i.e.: http://www.somesite.com?key=hmm01 The cookie code exists at top of the template before <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML ) : <?php header("Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8"); ob_start(); if (isset($_GET['key'])) { setcookie("cookname", $_GET['key'], time()+2592000); /* Expires in a month */ } ob_end_flush(); ?> On the same page though within the : I have the following php code that sniffs the cookie and outputs some text: ` switch ($cookievalue) { case hmm01: echo "abc"; break; case hmm02: echo "def"; break; case hmm03: echo "ghi"; break; default: echo "hello"; } ?` -- Problem is when the user first arrives the sniffer script doesn't detect the cookie and outputs the default text: hello Only when user refreshes page or navigates to a different page does the sniffer detect the cookie. Any ideas on how to drop the cookie and output the correct text without a page refresh? Many thanks.

  • There is no attachment in the sent mail by iPhone

    I'm trying to send a recorded sound file as attachment with MFMailComposeViewController. The sound file is OK. The picker shows the correct file name, shows the audio file icon as attachment, sends the mail, but there is no attachment in the result. I attached below the source of the sent mail. There is a "text/plain" content type part instead of "Content-Disposition: attachment;" as expected. This is my code code to define the path and attach the audio file.   • Browser history back with scrollable div

    When I Jump to section 1 & 2 everything works fine, and the browsers I tested (IE8, FF3.6, Chrome 5.0.342.3) scrolls down to the respective anchor in the div. But when I press the browser history back button the div won't scroll back up.   • Android -Layout Manager not showing buttons

    The following is my code. I want an interface where I have a single line textbox, a multiline textbox with 2 buttons below. I want the multiline textbox to occupy all the space available after rendering the buttons and textbox. For this I created two LinearLayouts inside the main layout. The first one has vertical orientation with layout_width set to fill_parent. The second one is horizontal with fill_parent again. The first one has a textbox for which I have set the layout_height to fill parent. The second one has two textboxes OK and Cancel. When I run this application I get the UI, but the Buttons are very small. I have to set the button height manually. What am I doing wrong here. And I HAVE to use regex to parse this HTML because that particular site was designed by someone who doesn't know about classes or IDs.

How can I ignore this and just set $nVendor to an empty string?

  • How to force an HTML JLabel in a JTree to resize when the font changes

    I'm updating a Java Swing application to support the user switching the app's font from normal size to a larger size (so the user can switch between the two sizes at runtime). One problem I'm having is with a JTree that uses HTML for the tree nodes to underline the text in some nodes (the HTML is just embedded in the JLabel of each tree node). One extra thing to know about the nodes is that they're a custom component, adding a JCheckBox in front of each JLabel. The problem is that once the JTree is visible, increasing the font size causes the nodes (containing underlined text) to not resize. The HTML for those nodes seems to prevent the node from becoming wider, so when the font changes, the text becomes truncated. I think my options are to either: 1) use another approach to make the text underlined, since removing the HTML from the JLabel causes it to resize properly when the font size changes, or 2) keep the HTML formatting and somehow force the JTree/JLabels to resize when the font size is updated (possibly by firing a property change event?). The code already calls SwingUtilities.updateComponentTreeUI() on the parent JFrame when the font size gets updated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! -Mike

    hello All, I am new to the programming world of dojo and web applications. I am trying to acomplish a task where I want to manipulate the textbox value with some text. I tried everything including some code from dojocampus, but even this code doesnot do anything.     I'm running dozens of map reduce jobs for a number of different purposes using disco. My data has grown enormous and I thought I would try using DDFS for a change rather than standard txt files. I've followed the DISCO map/reduce example Counting Words as a map/reduce job, without to much difficulty and with the help of others, Reading JSON specific data into DISCO I've gotten past one of my latest problems. I'm trying to read data in/out of ddfs to better chunk and distribute it but am having a bit of trouble.     I have been working on a web app using ASP.NET with the code base as C#. I have a dynamic table that resizes based on a return from a SQL query; with a check box added in the third cell of each row. The checkbox is assigned an ID according to an index and the date. When users hit the submit button, the code is supposed to get a value from each row that is checked. However, when looping through the rows, none of the check boxes ever have a value of true for the Checked property. The ID persists, but the value of the checkbox seems to be lost.   • Drop Down Box and other stuff in ASP.NET with VB.NET (VS 2008)

    Hi all, I am trying to polish up a program a program that I have converted from a Windows Form in to an ASP.NET Web Application. I have several questions: 1.) I have a drop down box where users can select their variables, but users can also enter their variables manually into various text fields. What I want is for the drop down box to show a string like "Choose Variables" when ever the user enters their variables manually. I want this to happen without having to reload the page. 2.) In the Windows Form version of this application I had a RichTextBox that populated with data (line by line) after a calculation was made. I used "AppendText" in my Windows Form, but that is not available in ASP.NET, and neither is the RichTextBox. I am open to suggestions here, I tried to use just a text box but that isn't working right. 3.) In my Windows Form application I was using "KeyPress" events to prevent incorrect characters from being entered into the text fields. My code for these events looked similar to this: Private Sub TextBox_KeyPress(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.KeyPressEventArgs) Handles TextBox.KeyPress If (e.KeyChar < "0" OrElse e.KeyChar > "9") AndAlso e.KeyChar <> ControlChars.Back AndAlso e.KeyChar <> "."   • Android - Linear Layout arrangement, not positioning as expected

    The following is my code. I want an interface where I have a single line textbox, a multiline textbox with 2 buttons below. I want the multiline textbox to occupy all the space available after rendering the buttons and textbox. For this I created two LinearLayouts inside the main layout. The first one has vertical orientation with layout_width set to fill_parent. The second one is horizontal with fill_parent again. The first one has a textbox for which I have set the layout_height to fill parent. The second one has two textboxes OK and Cancel. When I run this application I get the UI, but the Buttons are very small (about 5px in height). I have to set the button height manually. What am I doing wrong here.     I am trying to show my colleagues in my custom webpart. So I adding presence Icon to each of colleague. It is showing fine when colleague is 1 only.   • Matching a Repeating Sub Series using a Regular Expression with PowerShell

    I have a text file that lists the names of a large number of Excel spreadsheets, and the names of the files that are linked to from the spreadsheets. In simplified form it looks like this: "Parent File1.xls" Link: ChildFileA.xls Link: ChildFileB.xls "ParentFile2.xls" "ParentFile3.xls" Blah Link: ChildFileC.xls Link: ChildFileD.xls More Junk Link: ChildFileE.xls "Parent File4.xls" Link: ChildFileF.xls In this example, ParentFile1.xls has embedded links to ChildFileA.xls and ChildFileB.xls, ParentFile2.xls has no embedded links, and ParentFile3.xls has 3 embedded links. I am trying to write a regular expression in PowerShell that will parse the text file producing output in the following form: ParentFile1.xls:ChildFileA.xls,ChildFileB.xls ParentFile3.xls:ChildFileC.xls,ChildFileD.xls,ChildFileE.xls etc The task is complicated by the fact that the text file contains a lot of junk between each of the lines, and a parent may not always have a child. Furthermore, a single file name may pass over multiple lines. However, it's not as bad as it sounds, as the parent and child file names are always clearly demarcated (the parent with quotes and the child with a prefix of Link: ). The PowerShell code I've been using is as follows: $content = [string]::Join([environment]::NewLine, (Get-Content C:\Temp\text.txt)) $regex = [regex]'(?im)\s*\"(.*)\r?\n?\s*(.*)\"[\s\S]*?Link: (.*)\r?\n?' $regex.Matches($content) | %{$_.Groups[1].Value + $_.Groups[2].Value + ":" + $_.Groups[3].Value} Using the example above, it outputs: ParentFile1.xls:ChildFileA.xls ParentFile2.xls""ParentFile3.xls:ChildFileC.xls ParentFile4.xls:ChildFileF.xls There are two issues. Firstly, the inclusion of the "" instead of a newline whenever a Parent without a Child is processed. And the second issue, which is the most important, is that only a single child is ever shown for each parent. I'm guessing I need to somehow recursively capture and display the multiple child links that exist for each parent, but I'm totally stumped as to how to do this with a regular expression. Amy help would be greatly appreciated. The file contains 100's of thousands of lines, and manual processing is not an option :)

    I have a task with a notification entry but no emails are being generated and no entries in logs. Emails from mail node work fine. What am I doing wrong?
