  • Unable to copy a file from obj\Debug to bin\Debug

    I have a project in C# and I get this error every time I try to compile the project : (Unable to copy file "obj\Debug\Project1.exe" to "bin\Debug\Project1.exe". The process cannot access the file 'bin\Debug\Project1.exe' because it is being used by another process.), so I have to close the process from the task manager. my project is only one form and there is no multithreading. what is the solution (without restarting VS or Killing the process)?

  • Facebook Like Button XFBML comment not working

    I am implementing a Like button from Facebook per this document: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like I am using the XFBML version so that users can add comments when they click on the Like button. I have imported the Facebook JavaScript SDK an am using a valid App ID. The button appears and I am able to "Like" the page, but I am never prompted for comments. Is anybody else running into these issues? Anybody know of a fix?

    Hi all, I am using iPhone OS 3.0 SDK. My requirement is that I want to get the image from the photo albums library and display it on an image view. I am using the "UIImagePickerController" for that. But the problem is the "- (void)imagePickerController:(UIImagePickerController *)picker didFinishPickingImage:(UIImage *)imageeditingInfo:(NSDictionary *)editingInfo" delegate method is deprecated in iPhone OS 3.0 , so is there any alternative for getting the Image from the UIImagePickerController.   • No memory window in Visual Studio 2010

    I have VS2010 Premium RTM version on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. In the documentation they refer to the Memory 1-4 windows, supposedly under Debug-Windows-Memory. I have "Enable address-level debugging" enabled in VS (Options-Debugging). The problem is that I have no Memory menu item under Debug-Windows during debug of a c++ program. Under Debug-Windows I have only: Breakpoints Parallel Tasks Parallel Stacks Watch - Locals Call Stack Threads Have anyone else experienced this (and hopefully solved it)?

  • Disable keyboard input on Android TimePicker

    I'm developing and Android app using the 1.6 sdk. I'm using a TimePicker and I don't want the soft keyboard to come up when you click on the digits in the TimePicker. I only want the TimePicker to be changed using the plus and minus buttons. I've tried using android:focusable="false" and android:focusableInTouchMode="false" hoping those would do it, but they didn't seem to do anything. Is there a way to do this?

    I've thrown together some code to tinker with the new .Net 4.0/VS 2010 pieces, but I can't seem to find a build of my logging framework of choice (log4net) for 4.0, and I'm getting reference errors with the 2.0 version. Is there a 4.0 version available somewhere? I'm not asking for new features, just a version that's already been rebuilt against the new assemblies. Anyone know where I can find a build of 1.2.10 built for the 4.0 framework?

    I have a developer license and I've generated .mobileprovision and .cer files. I've put the provision file on my device, double-clicked the .cer file and added it to the login keychain. But when I'm trying to build the app in XCode, I get the error: CodeSign error: code signing is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'Device - iPhone OS 3.1.3' What am I doing wrong?   • Cannot add Silverlight Maps Control to Windows Mobile 7 application

    I know the bits just came out today, but one of the first things I want to do with the newly released Windows Mobile 7 SDK is put a map up on the screen and mess around. I've downloaded the latest version of the Silverlight Maps Control and added the references to my application. As a matter of fact, the VS 2010 design view of the MainPage.xaml shows the map control after adding the namespace and placing the control. I'm using the provided VS 2010 Express version that comes with the Win Mobile 7 SDK and have just used the New Project - Windows Phone Application template. When I try to build I get two warnings related to the Microsoft.Maps.MapControl dll's. Warning 1 The primary reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework. "Silverlight,Version=v4.0,Profile=WindowsPhone". To resolve this problem, either remove the reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" or retarget your application to a framework version which contains "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e".   • "Official" Way to deploy Assemblies into the GAC?

    I just wonder - if I need to deploy an assembly into the GAC, what is the "official" way of doing it? Currently we either manually drag/drop into the c:\windows\assembly folder or we use gacutil.exe. The first way is obviously not the good one (it's manual process after all), and gacutil is part of the SDK and not available per default on production servers. Are there any Microsoft deployment Guidelines?

Recently, I been checking all the things that the Ultimate version has, and I've been wondering, Can I just run the VS2010 ultimate installer and it upgrade the Sku, letting me use all of its features along with the previous plug-ins (like telerik rad controls, Deklarit for VS2010, and VS.php)??     Has anyone found/made any decent color themes for Visual Studio 2010? My VS 2005/2008 themes seem to be getting mangled in the upgrade process. I'm accustomed to using the ever famous Oren Ellenbogen's Dark Scheme featured on Scott Hanselman's blog, but the upgrade process has made it downright butt-ugly.     Hi, I am having a requirement, where I need to have a pie-chart, i need text around pie-chart , the text should be a hyperlink. Ex: we have 3 three fields A,B,C. A's ratio is 30%, B's ratio is 40%, c's ratio is 30% So pie chart gets divided into 3 parts, outside the graph , we should get the label A(in A's area only), when we point on , tool tip should say "A's ratio is 30 %'.     With the standard share at http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php one only needs to specify a URL. Title and thumbnail are automatically pulled from the web page (perhaps with the help of meta tags). With Facebook Connect (I am using the iPhone SDK), I need to supply everything explicitly (URL, title, caption, description, images, etc.). Is there a way to emulate the "share" behavior with Facebook Connect, i.e. let Facebook pull the missing elements from the page being shared itself?
