  • safari and gzip

    I'm loading jQuery from google on my site (http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3/jquery.min.js) which is minned and gzip'd. In firefox, the jquery file shows as a 19k request, but Safari shows it as a 56k request. I'm assuming then that Safari is not accepting it as a gzip'd file. What's the deal? It's coming from google and I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be gzip'd

I want to create a report which shows the types of cases in each month by taking a date range as a parameter through prompts. I have done the prompt part but I'm not sure how the query should be to show values for each month in that date range. Can someone please help me with this?

    hi, i'm sending a mail with attachment(1.pdf) but in mail it doesnt shows 1.pdf instead it shows some random file named "ATT008220.dat". i'm using Rails 3.0 following is the code i'm using: @file = File.read('c:/1.pdf') @file.force_encoding('BINARY') attachment "application/octet-stream" do |a| a.body = @file end anybody knows why its happening? any idea?     i cant for the life of me figure out how to change the date from default mm/dd/yyyy to the european dd/mm/yyyy the manual states to use: $.datepicker.formatDate('yy-mm-dd', new Date(2007, 1 - 1, 26)); so far i have: $('#next_date').datepicker(); which shows the calendar fine but im not sure where the first line of code goes. this for example disables the calendar, nothing shows up, no js errors reported $('#next_date').datepicker.formatDate('yy-mm-dd', new Date(2007, 1 - 1, 26));

  • Why do updates inside of a SQL transaction still need disk IO?

    In SQL Profiler you can see that very simple updates to a table by primary key take about 10-30ms each. On about every 10th update the write column shows 1, on all other updates it shows 0. This must mean that about every 10th update statement still requires disk IO. I wonder why that is. Would it not be more efficient queue up all IO until the transaction commits?

I would like for this page to display the view of just the two fields on the first load (rather than the current 5 it shows on first load), then when the user clicks the 'register' link, it shows the other 3 - for a total of 5.     Hello....I have a report with 12 Tablixes on it. The user can pcik and choose which one of these Tables and their associated data shows when the Report is generated. However, when chosing a subset of the 12 tables, the report shows blank space where I hide the non-selected tablse. Is there any way to make the report resize/fit the size of the selected tables...truncating the white space where the invisible tables are? Thanks

    My question is, I have installed the SEO component successfully, and its working well but; On homepage, the Latest Products module shows the url like http://www.domain.com/product-21.html On category page, the product shows the url like http://www.domain.com/category/product-21.html I want to put the category URL in the latest products module so it will be the same as on category page.
