    Is it possible to hide doc icon programmatically on demand. I know one way by which defining property "Application is agent (UIElement)" in plist we make the cocoa app as user agent. But this result in hiding the doc icon permanently. I am looking for a way where i can control visibility of doc icon. Any idea ?

  • Appdomain recycle settings on mod_mono & Apache

    How does one control the application recycle settings for an ASP.NET application runnin on mod_mono & Apache ? On IIS6 & 7 there was an option to specify either a time period, a number of requests, etc. when the AppDomain would be recycled and the application would basically do an Application_End() / Application_Start(). I am seeing the same behaviour on mod_mono & Apache ,but I can't find where to change the settings.

  • Silverlight DataGrid Exception Reordering Column Headers

    I'm trying to set the initial display order of the column headers in a silverlight datagrid by changing the column header DisplayIndex values. If I try to set the column order at page load time, I get an out of range exception. If I set the column order (same routine) at a later time like, in a button click handler, it works. Is this just a bug in the silverlight datagrid control? Suggestions for a possible work around?

  • Refactor custom wizard to reduce flicker

    I have implemented a custom wizard control in C# windows forms by creating a base form which has the shared components and then making child forms for each step of the process. I then have a class which hides/shows the child forms when you move from one step to another. The problem is that flickering is bad when moving between forms. Does anyone know a way to either keep this method and reduce the flicker or refactor it to make it use a single form (which should definitely reduce the flicker)?

I do not want to turn speculative execution completely off but I want to increase duration of time hadoop waits before considering job for speculative execution.   • How to listen for AffectsParentArrange events when you're not the parent

    There is an attribute "AffectsParentArrange" that implicitly invalidates the parent's layout - but I want to attach an event handler to the "event" triggered by that attribute. When a child property with the attribute changes, the parent's arrangement is invalidated. I have a custom control (which is not the immediate parent) that needs to receive an event. Does anyone know of an event that can be used here? Do I need to provide a custom parent that overrides a method and fires an event?
