  • UIDocumentInteractionController in iOS for Whatsapp Integration

    I was looking for a way to share my application created files through Whatsapp. I found we can chat using custom URL scheme provided by whatsapp : https://www.whatsapp.com/faq/iphone/23559013. But, to share files of my app, read that I have to use DicumentIntercationController. So, is there any smaple available? Also, when I read about apple docs, it says, "Create an instance of the UIDocumentInteractionController class for each file you want to interact with" (https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/FileManagement/Conceptual/DocumentInteraction_TopicsForIOS/Articles/PreviewingandOpeningItems.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40010410-SW1). So is it necessary to create instance for each file? I just want to share the files as and when i receive it through my service to my app. Thanks for the help in advance.

  • How does one redirect from one wordpress page to another via htaccess?

    I tried making the following change to my wordpress site to permanently redirect a common link to a new page. I could've -sworn- that this used to work. But it simply does not (at least in WP 3.9). I have had to resort to using a Redirect Plug-In. I'm wondering -why- it doesn't work and if there is a technique which -will- work. I'd prefer to continue to use .htaccess for simplicity.   • Are areas a good organizational feature, or just extra work?

    Do Areas in ASP.NET MVC end up being a help or just a drag in the end (because of the URL construction)? Would it be better to have subdirectories inside the main Controllers folder? or are there any other options to organizing a project? EDIT For example, this is your average link without Areas: @Html.ActionLink("Home","Index","Home") and this is your average link with Areas: @Html.ActionLink("Home","Index", new { Area = "", Controller = "Home"}) Could the following work? (Main controller with subdirectories) I'm just trying to find out if implementing Areas in a project is worthwhile, because I also read that it can be problematic when using Dependency Injection. And is there an alternative to Areas?

  • Should I be concerned about hAtom tags on my blog?

    I am using a theme that automatically adds hatom-entry, hatom-feed classes on my WordPress blog. I read that such tags/classes should be used for syndicated content. Anyway, then I ran a Rich Snippet Tool, which threw a "HAtomfeed" error. So I removed a "hfeed" div tag. Now, should I be concerned? Can this cause any problems? I still have a couple of these classes (listed below), and I just hope they do not effect my site's ranking. For now, these are the tags the Rich Snippet Tool has detected: hatom-feed hatom-entry: entry-title: entry-content: published: author: fn: person-name: url: Appreciate your help!     Is it possible to integrate any kind of Lightbox with SimpleViewer? But I don't want to display SimpleViewer in Lightbox. I want to Lightbox show when I click on one of the images in SimpleViewer. Does anyone tried that with success? EDIT I have a SimpleViewer page now. I just want to bind handler to clicking an image (as normally in HTML based pages), fetch big image url and show that image (not SimpleViewer!) in Ligthbox/ThickBox/FancyBox etc.

For this to work I need to rewrite the url to open the correct php file. That would look something like this: RewriteRule ^(.*).css$ /csszip.php?file=$1.css [L] But I only want the first to happen when the second doesn't and vice versa.   • When Google gives up recrawling 301 that led to 404?

    I've transferred a domain and made a mistake in the redirects (the URL structure is identical). Even though they went to the new domain, the error caused a 404 when crawled by Google bot. 10 days after I saw and corrected my redirect mistake, and now the site should (hopefully) redirect to proper pages. Q1: The URLs of the 404 pages in the Webmaster Tools all bear the mistake and will never be available at the new site. I marked them as fixed in the tools. Do I need to do something about that, like 301 rewrite them with a condition to fix the error? Q2: Does Google bot attempt to recrawl 301 pages that pointed to a 404?

    So I know about tools like Copyscape and Google Alerts.. great tools, but it's quite tedious for me to copy and paste an URL or phrase for every one of my pages in my sites. Is there any tool out there that monitors your website and emails you or alerts you whenever someone has stolen content from your site? The only service I know is CopySentry and honestly, it's too expensive for me since I got thousands of pages I want to monitor... Anyone else have this problem? or is it just me? I've found url http://graph.facebook.com/?id=http://imdb.com but it shows only overal count for the site. I think that I can ask http://graph.facebook.com/?ids=url1,url2 with all my pages as the parameters to get detailed information, but this seems to be an ugly solution. A have lots of pages, so I have to ask facebook many times. Maybe there is some simple way of finding the information I need?
