  • How to run an .exe application in another computer?

    I am working on a C# application in Visual Studio 2013. When I run the .exe file from my computer, the application runs very well and all the features work. When I tried to run the .exe on another computer, the database side doesn't work well and the connection with the database couldn't be opened. The SqlConnection is constructed as follows: SqlConnection cn = new SqlConnection("Data Source=ADAM-PC;Initial Catalog=integrationdatabase;Integrated Security=True" I don't know how to change the data source to make the connection with the database established in another computer. How can I solve this problem?

  • How to deploy App_Data files with Azure cloud service (web role)

    I have a read-only data file (for IP geolocation) that my web role needs to read. It is currently in the App_Data folder, which is NOT included in the deployment package for the cloud service. Unlike "web deploy", there is no checkbox for an azure cloud service deployment to include/exclude App_Data. Is there a reasonable way to get the deployment package to include the App_Data folder/files? Or is using Azure storage for this sort of thing the better way to go? (cost and performance wise) Am using Visual Studio 2013 and the Azure SDK 2.2

Am I missing something or does this piece of code exposes a compiler bug ?     My Word 2007 spell-check seems to work fine, except that when I paste in text from somewhere else, it won't detect any misspellings in that pasted text...no matter what I try. If it makes any difference, when I paste in text, the formatting is preserved (size color etc). Any ideas on what to try?

I cannot beleive that the word wrapping information (how many lines are there, where are the line breaks) cannot be extracted from the JTextArea.     In JavaScript: "ab abc cab ab ab".replace(/\bab\b/g, "AB"); correctly gives me: "AB abc cab AB AB" When I use utf-8 characters though: "aß aß? ?aß aß aß".replace(/\baß\b/g, "AB"); the word boundary operator doesn't seem to work: "aß aß? ?aß aß aß" Is there a solution to this?

I'm trying to do the next: I have a word document, than contains the languages of a copyrights: English, Portuguese, French, ... initialy all hidden(the text) And in the top of the document i have Checkboxs, 1 for each language, than the objective is when i choose of them the text of the language than i selected apppears (by an handler or something) It's is possible to do that? thanks
