• Android Add Icon to homescreen to set member variable in broadcast receiver

  I would like to add some sort of icon that a user can press in order to flip a variable in a broadcast receiver my app uses. Basically I just can a icon that they can press which will flip the value of a boolean in the broadcast receiver, and change the icon to indicate something happened. I think I need to do something with a widget? Could anyone point me in the direction of some tutorial I could check out?

  Can someone point me at what I should be doing under scala 2.10 in place of this deprecated type witness on Manifest? reflect.ClassManifest.singleType(foo) <:< barManifest Honestly, my goal here is just to replace it with something that doesn't raise a deprecation warning. • AS3 car race game?

  I am trying to make a racing game with an overhead view looking down. There will be a separate mc for the ground and another separate mc for the players car. How can I do this? O ya and just in case i am thinking the way I did: I tried to "rotate" the ground but when the car moves down the ground it moves away from the registration point, so therefore it rotates non relative to the car i want to make this game in as3.

The adobe site only has a "Coming soon" placeholder for CS5, and most of the other usual suspects like softpedia and brothersoft just redirect you to adobe.
