  • 404 error for pages using a master page in IIS7

    Hello, I have developed my .net web app on XP using IIS6. It uses just plain old master pages, nothing fancy. No nested master page. When I deployed it to the server, which is IIS7, suddenly any page that implements a master page, will not be rendered. Gives a 404 error instead. Any ideas, about confguration that I need to specify in IIS7 that is not in IIS6? Thanks

    I need to use a TCP socket connecting to a port outside of 4502-4532 while running in browser. I know it is possible to do out of browser with allowing full access, but how can I do it inside the browser? I am connecting to an old Unix system so I would prefer not to host a web site hosting a clientaccesspolicy.xml file. Thanks in advance!

In current situation it is replacing old file with new one. How i can uniquely manage this attachment for different mails.

The client PCs are using Mac/Unix and Windows, so the server must be accessible from all platforms.     The old, C style cvMat matrices could be passed to the cvSave() function for easy writing to an XML file. The new C++ style cv::Mat and cv::Mat_ matrices are not accepted by this function. The OpenCV reference has a section on XML persistence, but the three classes (FileStorage, FileNode and FileNodeIterator) lack any description or example and I can't figure out how to use them from the interface.     I usually run Fiddler for net traffic monitoring and now am using a Mac machine. I thought Firebug's net tab can show the traffic that is fetched through AJAX (the net tab is enabled). But if I try google.com, and type in something, its "google suggest" will show a bunch of suggestions, but the Firebug's "net" tab is not showing anything?

    As I know, in PHP, we need to connect LDAP over SSL in order to change user password. Is there another way, E.G, other language (JAVA / ASP) to change LDAP password without SSL required? Thanks. Updates: I get "Warning: ldap_mod_replace() [function.ldap-mod-replace]: Modify: Insufficient access" when I try to modify self account password. If i try to change other user password, I get no error message, but the password still stick to the old one.
